I am considering using el tape for a costume, however the tape will be wedged between two layers of cloth (the whole idea of it is for the light to shine through it and be a surprise) anyway since the el tape wont be visible to the naked eye in natural light would it be wise to just make detailed shapes by sticking black tape on it? instead of cutting it?

is it possible to cut wedges out of the tape and then reconnect the remaining pieces to get a curve? i'm planning out a prop and i dont have much space for battery packs so it's better for the deisgn and cost if i can use tape instead of sheets.

I have a question with EL wire can you add LED lights at the end of them? And both of the two lights work?

if the EL Tape comes by metre can i cut the copper type bit on it if i was to cut it at the end of the tape leaving enough so i could have it at exatly 20cm
