Remember when I was 14 or so backin 79, we would stop there (España) for quick breakfast, hot chocolate and pan con mantequilla on way to school. Thanks for the memories. They are great. Love this place.
Loved the interview you did with the charming Fisherman! I heard a rumor that casual NY diner-like“La Predera” in the Miramar area had reopened, if that’s true, go there for breakfast and a fruit shake (batida). Also, if you like music, see whoever is playing at San Juan’s biggest Arena, “El Capitolio” and definitely dress up as ALL of the locals do. Even if you never heard of the act performing, go!!!
Damn i miss my island that beautiful weathet im freezing my butt of here in NY hopefully next Christmas ill there in my beautiful island once again. Thanks for the video Merry Christmas to you and ur family
Thank you for the content and recommendations. I'll definitely add some of these to my growing list for the next visit. I look forward to watching your other videos. Small constructive criticism. At times when you panned the room/site to give us a view, it caused dizziness. Not sure if it triggered my vertigo.
My favorite pastry is the napoleons,I tasted them in a bakery in the town of Guayama.Never have I tasted anything igual.Yet.But that bakery España looks amazing.
I love Puerto Rico and especially the food. My family has been several times, and everytime we have spent 2-3 atleast months. I say that to say, as much time as I have spent in San Juan I've never heard of Pal Agua. I feel like I have missed out 😂 I will be on the island again in a couple months. I must go there immediately. I can't wait.
My grandma used to eat even the fish head she would suck the eyes and the fish brain and everything. They were from Fajardo PR and my grampa was a fisherma
No. We have stews, soups, boiled roots with different things such as cod fish fresh, stew , fried, se food in salads with side dishes,, rices combinations, potatoes o elbows salad, sweet plantaing "Pies", many many things. The fried food is just street food. We don't eat bacalaito and other fried snack everyday. We cook other things.
Panaderia Espana is Overated. Since moving here I wanted to make this a regular weekend stop. But what was also regular is the crowd along with no orderly line. Just like the traffic. If you don't pushed your way front, forget it. I was okay with that in the beginning. Today was the last straw. I was not noticed and stood there like a fool waiting. When I finally got attention. I said to myself. Never coming back. I've had better croissants at a european train station. Not worth it and I won't change myself to be pushy and rude just for dry croissants
La sazón puertorriqueña es deliciosa, solo que los turistas consumen pura fritura y lamentablemente es lo que más promociona la isla. Deben cambiar su estrategia.

I think there are better, way better restaurants in the island. You only stayed in San Juan.
The title DOES say “in San Juan”.
