It makes me extremely happy when people appreciate the beauty of my island. I hope you and your family come back and get to enjoy more of what my island offers.
Thank you for this video of your time in Puerto Rico.
Also, you didn't butcher the names. As a non native speaker of the language, you did well.
🇵🇷
Thank-you very much. I can't wait to come back and see more. I've heard about so many wonderful places across the island.
Puerto Rico, my island! 🇵🇷❤🤍💙
I loved every minute and I can't wait to go back.
Love Old San Juan! 💜😊👍
Such an amazing place!
Beautiful Old San Juan
Such a beautiful place!
Very nice, Andrew :-)
Thanks!
It makes me laugh when people say the oldest city of United States😂 and we Puerto Ricans haven’t even made up our minds whether we want to be a state of USA or not. lol 😂
Puerto Rico has voted for statehood 3 times already since 2012. USA Congress has ignored the voted and remain silence
Until the day comes when the international population of Puerto Rico make up their mind with regards to the island's territorial status, it will continue to be the United States.
It wasn't exactly built to protect from Pirates, but from invasion from other countries that tried to.❤🇵🇷
Thank you for such a beautiful video. San Juan is the second oldest European settlement in the American Continent. The city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic is the oldest. Old San Juan is one of the best preserved cities in the hemisphere.
While it is true that it is the oldest city in the US, and that Puerto Rico believe or not is US, many locals openly or covertly deeply resent that. Puerto Ricans are very nationalistic and proud and while it does not show in the government statistics, the independence sympathizers account for a much larger percentage than it is officially stated. A large sector of the people do not even identify as Americans even though they are American citizens by birth. However they do not represent the majority.
