This is a pure control deck. You don't do anything until the right time. Because the disruptions are always depending on what you draw. The actions in every game will always be different.

@@Otzkar Stun and control are two very different things. Josh said this is the opposite of stun in that you let your opponent play their combo instead of flipping 10000 floodgates. Control decks, like sky striker, do not stun either.
That's some insane copium. The reality is that this person always milled at least 10 cards every turn while abusing rollback. If that was an emulator or MD, he'd have 5+ activation prompts each turn.

I never said that it was a stun deck but I also dont agree that it is a control deck. control decks seek to control the game by interupting your opponent and slowly reducing their rescources. this decks only interuption is candia, dinomiscus and karma canon. that is not a control deck. I dont even know how you would best describe this deck in one word honestly. you want to out atvantage your opponent over many turns by summoning unnafected guys and getting into a simplified gamestate.. honestly its got more similaritys to purrely without than ... skystriker?

@@SlackerXYZ How bad would grass at 3 even be anymore. It's definitely still strong but even in the ocg at 2 it's not like the topping decks are playing it and even in md it's not that popular.
@@HeneLvwith a few exceptions (trap decks like paleo or grass Eldlich, decks that can special summon 40+ times, arguably branded), decks that want to mill half their cards have a very bad time into maxx c.
It doesn’t do much in the ocg because by playing 60 you’re failing to open an answer when your opponent opens maxx c significantly more frequently than you’re resolving grass.
@@HeneLv grass in OCG and grass in the TCG are very different for 1 reason.

One of my favorite jank decks in MD was a mill centric Ishizu Striker pile where I just milled like crazy, got a MASSIVE Kagari on the field and often had reliable GY disruption between Shark Cannons, the Shufflers, and Gravekeeper's Trap if I managed to mill Exchange of the Spririt. This monstricity did suprisingly well during that format's "Tear 0" episode just because of how often Kelbek's hand effect and Roze's GY effect threw people off guard, and it was often difficult to shuffle back enough of my Spells for them to stop being a threat(and it was super easy for that build to get EotS out of the hand so bricking on it was never an issue).

I just had an extremely drawn out duel against a Snake Eye player with a variation of this deck. He summoned out every monster in the book and couldnt kill me due to my perseverance. I ended up decking him out the old fashion way, man I wish I could've saved it but my Records were full and Konami is too stupid to Overwrite.
Even with demise the strongest stun (non runick) has been is rogue. Card would be perfectly fine at 1 and nadir unlimited. Anti-meta stun is stronger in formats that are heavily condensed to one deck type. If you think having a counter option to insane metas is a bad thing idk what to say.

It's sad that controll decks without stun are so rare. But i suppose time rules aren't really made for 10+ turn duels anymore with how much any deck can do in 1 turn now.

So they can't Reasoning into Maxx C. It would be a 42% chance of happening if they ran 3 Maxx C and 4 other monsters.

You rarely have times where you want to wait a turn to discard a specifically named card you would have rather set to draw 2 so its role is perfect carried out much faster by cards like Grass and Demise (and by Traptantilizing Tune in the TCG)
