    as someone who went to cosmetology school i love what you said about how you think of the price tag of expensive products. if you’re going to spend a lot of money at a salon on your hair you need to take care of it properly or you just wasted that money!

    that giant tub of fiber fix hair mask was on sale for black friday instead of 100 dollars it was 30! such a great deep conditioner! 👍✨
    edit: it's still on sale on amazon!!

      @PettankoXO 4 роки тому +13

      I’d be cautious about buying beauty products on amazon, especially when the price seems too good to be true.
      There’s a high risk of counterfeit products being sold because there is no regulation vs a salon.

      PettankoXO I totally agree. this one was real tho, on the salon guys website which Mei recommends they give a verified link to their Amazon where the price is $30

    In Germany and in Europe countries in general (I think) the fanola Fiber fix bonding mask or whatever it’s called costs only 15€ (for the biggest container!) so maybe you can order from European sites? I hope this is helpful for someone :)

    I use that luseta combination too and my sister uses, the biotin b complex shampoo+ conditioner, we both love them! It made my hair silky and less dry then other shampoos. The biotin b complex hair mask is very good too!!

    • @teeshac8421
      @teeshac8421 4 роки тому

      Alskar Jag curly hair is best brushed wet, it will break off and frizz if it’s brushed dry. The brush can glide through easier when wet.

    I’m confused. I’ve always been told hairdryers are damaging? I have very curly thick hair so i’ve always been told air drying is the best thing for me? When is best to air dry and when is best to blow dry?

    • @martachrapek2319
      @martachrapek2319 4 роки тому +11

      If you do it right it should't be damaging! Curls look the best after they air dry but it's not the only option. Just don't use heat, don't blow dry in humid rooms and don't shake the blow dryer (hold it still and move slowly ) it isn't damaging . For curly hair there is a special end "diffuser" for blow dryers, and the technique is a little bit diffrent here I recomend watching a video ;)

      I've had pink hair for 8 years and have tried the olaplex number 3 at home. It's expensive but super effective, just sleep with it in wash it out the next morning and my hair feels like it's from a different person. Can't compare to fanola though as I haven't tried it

      Olaplex step 3 is a great investment, I only keep it on for ~20 min before I shower because of my hair density and texture. But it helps SO much for bleached hair

    do you no longer go to miju salon or did they just go under a name change? from watching quite a few other hair channels, ceramic plates aren't the best since they can have uneven heating/more likely to have hot spots/cold spots. and with bonding treatments, they can only do so much. and with a lot of them, they have silicones to make it appear as if your hair is smoother/better than it really is. best advice, avoid heat and chemical processing as much as possible and moisturize the shit out of your hair haha

    • @prettypinkprince
      @prettypinkprince 4 роки тому +2

      james miju has a video on his channel about the salon drama and the name change. my stylist told me that ceramic plates are better than titanium because while titanium gets your hair silkier, ceramic coating prevents more damage. i guess it's just a matter of what you want lol
