I'm willing to try anything new. I've been struggling with this problem since my teens. Add in an oily scalp and it's great fun! The sticky, dirty feeling has always been my frustration with thickeners. I have found to get any volume I sacrifice shine and smooth texture. It's either shiny, well-conditioned and flat, or dull straw with a tiny bit of volume.
Oh what a great video! I will try the Bambeautiful products and Colorwow! However not sure I would go with dark blonde or blonde but seeing that you use dark blonde I think I'll try that color first. And yes, AfterParty is a great product!! Love it!
Trinny recommended WOW and I've been using for 2 years! Absolutely love this! Covers grey hair but as you say Nadine it definitely makes hair look thicker. Cannot recommend it enough!
I have been using BamBeautiful for about 6 months, it’s quite expensive & I do use more than they say to use! It all depends on your hair, if you have curly hair you will use more. Great organic products, but it definitely has a little stickiness to it, and I have used all the range!
Great video .Bamboo is amazing. The Maui Moisture bamboo thicken and restore available everywhere is AMAAAZING and doesn't leave it crispy or coated. I have always had the finest, finest baby hair and going SLS free in shampoos and dimethicone free in conditioners made EVERY difference. Also, I had a TENTH of the amount of breakage since using the Balmain extensions brush,. Hence I have grown it to jaw length because I now can x
Hi Nadine, I’ve just ordered the bambeautiful starter collection. I’m taking steroids and my hair is falling out and snapping off during washing and brushing. A lot of the reviews on this set complain that there is no indication if you use the scalp tonic on wet or dry hair, how did you use it? Another brilliant video with fantastic tips and recommendations...thank you 💕xx
This is really helpful.. thank you :-) I have been taking a shed load of vitamins, silica, (lamberts) biotin etc for thinning (menopause) hair over the past 4 years and it has really helped. I have also been using the Bumble and bumble crayon which does cover up the thin area but I think the wow shadow is going to be less noticeable and more subtle.
Are any of the ingredients in here the same or similar to SLS? - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate,, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Chloride? This also has: Parfum (Fragrance) which concerns me as I have sensitive skin/scalp
Is there a mousse in this range Nadine for those of us short fine hair and need oomph when blow drying? Your recommendations are always so well researched much appreciated by people like me who don’t have the knowledge of the active ingredients a big thanks
I haven't tried the ColorWow Root Touch Up Powder, but it looks very similar to the Joan Rivers Great Hair Day Fill-In Powder, which I've used for many years. It's a wonderful product as well if anyone is looking for a less expensive alternative. It's amazing what a difference it makes, and it looks so natural.
Hi Nadine , can you please do a at home coloring your roots video ? I am long blonde hair like you and my roots are white !! I would really appreciate it . Your hair looks fantastic, love debs x
@Mabellucyanna I did shave my head, at the time hair was shoulder length and I was fed with it falling. It was the most liberating thing I did....and quite fun 😁
I have been taking Biotin for my hair for about a year now. Have been saying to a few people about the fact that its the one supplement I take that actually shows. I am 58, with fine hair in a bob. It now looks thicker than ever. I take Biotin as an oral spray not tablets, as I heard some say that tablets upset their stomach. Am also proud to say that I don't colour my hair and only have the odd grey and am brunette!
I've been taking what I believe to be a highish dose of Biotin for nearly 3 months - my hair is growing much quicker as a result but can't honestly say it seems any thicker yet. My nails are still splitting although perhaps very slightly less than b4 - will keep going until I finish the bottle
@@beelarehman5992 Funny I also have "fine frizzy "annoying" hair...BUT!!! At 17 I was almost bald and adter thousands to get my hair back in NYC where I am...in my 60's I have a pretty full head...so lets love our fine, frizzy annoying hair..LOL!!! Stay safe during thses tenuous times!!!!xo

Love this video I need help but I wish youd have talked about SUPPLEMENTS and also does and donts for washing drying and brushing etc water temp when washing and other things you can do daily etc I'm 45 and I've lost so much hair through bleaching I haven't coloured my hair since january it's so grey want to dye it but so scared to use box dye are they're any out their that are ok
Oh this is SO useful, thanks so much Nadine. I have curly hair and need a very rich conditioner otherwise my barnet's a sad desiccated curly haystack- like an actual tumbleweed. Would you advise maybe mixing this conditioner with my existing one? Using the foam like a mousse after I've conditioned? Maybe using the scalp serum while my hair's still wet? Any tips v v welcome.
Hi Nadine unrelated question, but have you heard of my perfect eyes company? It’s a cream for bags under the eyes, can you tell me if you think it’s worth buying ? X
It has definitely made a difference to your hair. Going to take a look. Im using Revigen Tonic Anti hair loss. I'm wondering if the fact im Massaging my head much more, or the Product is helping. And it is. Great video. Love ya & pussinboots x 2 i see the pictures and instantly im calm. Awee xxx 💕❤💞🐈🐾🐾❤ I need to know if its UK only. Hi Nadine,. I’m 54 this year and just hit the big M, my hair is suffering, thinning round the hairline and the bottom half is breaking a lot. I’m taking biotin and using Philip Kingsley elasticizer and the olaplex shampoo conditioner and pre wash treatment too, not sure if anything is working to be honest. Do you have any recommendations for little clip in extensions I can use at home? I thought I remembered you having some. Thank you xx
Nicola BW, have you tried Nutrafol? I’ve used the standard formula and really noticed a difference. It doesn’t do anything for current breakage (but your hair does grow in healthier), but it helps reduce hairfall. They now have one for women specially geared towards menopause. I would imagine that it as good as the original and possibly better. It’s a bit expensive, but if you sign up, you’ll get a discount code for your first purchase. nutrafol.com/women-balance
Nadine do you match colour of WoW root touchup (or Josh Wood root concealers ) to your natural hair colour or coloured one? In my case do I chose for dark hair (which is my natural colour) or blond ( my platinum bleach color)
carrie spackman I don’t have damaged hair, it’s my natural grey, but as it’s getting longer I feel like it’s getting dryer. Would Olaplex help for that?
Dear Nadine, would you recommend a Lactic Acid to get rid of dry flakes in the scalp in combination with a HA? I wanted to reduce washes during caranten and now I get the flakes if I don't wash my hair for more than 4-5 days. I think it's just a little very dry scalp that isn't exfoliated.
