I am a 4 billion-year-old single cell amoeba. The show has given me the strength and willpower to come to life to watch it every week. Truly amazing My life would truly not be the same without it. Thank you guys
what's it like in the void of the beyond? just curious
I'm that little bit of the amoeba that split off before you gained sentient and did nothing with its life.
Anyway, could I crash on your couch this week I got layed off my job?
I'm
Nobody can prove you wrong
Congratulations🎉😁
Charlie before jumping off the plane
“That’s about it, see ya”
😂😂😂
Charlie is absolutely the motherfucker who slighted a witch in the 2nd century and has been simply jonzin' with this whole _immortality_ thing since.
That would definitely tie him to his real identity 😂
“Sea ya”
What part of the vid is that again?
so cool they got Jack the ripper to stand in for Charlie this episode
Shhhh. Let it be a secret
A pair of fellow berserk fans I see
@@machomandalf2893 It's like the rule of two, they travel in pairs.
I don’t see why people don’t think that he used a training parachute as a bag to put more money in. He didn’t take a third bag he just cut some cord off of it.
Charlie is DB cooper, he doesnt want to be on planes because he fears getting caught
lol he’s afraid he’ll do it again 🤣
exactly my thought, 100% confirmed
YOU’RE SO RIGHT
oh shiiiit. so that's the reason
You make a good point
i'm not gonna lie Isaiah, "there's a difference between turning the other cheek and offering it" goes so damn hard
Not really. That's exactly what turning the other cheek means. I love Isaiah but he kinda screwed that up.
@@willieearles3151
"turn the other cheek" isn't a sexual innuendo.
@@scarletbard6511 it is when i say it
@@uhohkittykitty
I'll turn your cheeks, buster.
@@willieearles3151the difference is that "turning the other cheek" is giving a second chance while "offering the other cheek" is knowing for sure the person is going to fuck up again but still giving them a second chance. One is deserved and the other is egregious.
“You have scoliosis, you’re the least valuable as far as bones go.” 😂
Disappointed that the “D.B. Cooper survived only because he was found in the wilderness by local sasquatches, was nursed back to health in their underground cave civilization, and has lived among them ever since” theory was apparently considered too outlandish for this podcast. 🙄
If only the boys from the lore lodge were here.
Nah, knowing Isaiah, it would have been giants.
You can tell Jackson actually wanted to include it by the repeated inclusion of "Cryptid" in the script.
Kinda funny cuz in this scenario, all the money he stole serves him no purpose.
B.D cooper*
I can't speak to falling out of a plane, but I was driving and got hit by a semitruck, which made my car roll a few times and broke several bones in my back (I'm fine now, physical therapy is great). And I can confirm that at least immediately afterwards, you don't feel the pain. I remember talking to the parametic because intellectually I knew I should go to the hospital, but I felt fine, downright great. He was very nice with me because I was fully going "I'm sure I should go to the hospital just to be safe, but I got to tell you I feel great. But you think I should go right? Even though I feel tooootally fine?" like I was trying to convince him to tell me that I was good to go home, and he had to keep coming up with nice ways to say "ma'am, you're covered in blood and broken glass, please get in the ambulance". The pain in my neck started while I was in the ambulance, and the pain in my everything else didn't kick in for a couple hours (and they couldn't even give me anything for it because they were worried my liver had been hurt in the accident). Again - I'm totally fine now, but I figure it gives me a somewhat unique viewpoint to share about having injuries from smacking into something going very fast.
I broke my ankle once and can confirm that with traumatic injuries, nature gives you a great deal on temporary pain immunity that probably helps a lot when running from predators. For me, it meant I felt okay to walk into a convenience store, and suddenly felt so much pain that I began to depersonalize and nearly threw up
I was in a car accident and broke my pelvis in 3 places. And the first person to the scene was a pedestrian not a paramedic and he had me crawl across the smashed car over to the passenger door to him. It hurt but I could do it and was delirious, I don’t know what I was saying but I remember the paramedics talking to each other like “yeah she’s delirious” lol
@@PatronSaintofDreams OMG same! I was upside down, but luckily I had my windows rolled down so I was able to maneuver out of the car through there. It's something that we see in movies all the time, but you can't really describe unless you've experienced it. Especially how your mind just focuses on getting out of the situation - I was upside down and I remember thinking "if I undo my seat belt without bracing myself, I'll hit my head and I might get a concussion, which would suck" like I didn't 1) have bigger things to worry about, and 2) already have a concussion lol.
I'm glad you're okay! These kinds of accidents are no joke.
As the the old saying goes "adrenaline is one hell of a drug"...Glad you're ok
I grew up a child slave. Yeah, pain isn't typically instant
My grandmother once told me 'I don't care what they teach you in school. Cleopatra was D.B. Cooper'
Your grandma seems chill
Wise words 🙏
That woman knew things...
As a great-grandma, I can attest she was correct.
On this episode of Red Thread, Charlie goes back in time to hijack a plane and parachute into mythological status. What a living legend.
but here's the thing. he doesn't have to go back in time....he's already done it
Since they didnt get too creative with the theories ill be that guy. Got 2 for ya.
1: DB Cooper was actually a fed and this whole thing was a psyop to increase airport security during the cold war.
2: he survived the jump but since it was dark and stormy he accidentally fell into and drowned in the river that was able to carry the money downstream to where it was found. Someone found his body on the beach and pushed it back in after taking the money and dropping some.
#1 is intriguing and something i could entirely see taking place
#2 couldn’t happen as not a single dollar aside from was found down the river has reentered circulation I think he crashed into a tree like Jurassic park 3 and nobody found him he’s long decayed by now
i think he went Up

He’s Australian I’m surprised he doesn’t call it guzzoline
Facts! 🙏🏻 God bless him. Jackson is so wholesome.
I worked with a guy who was training to be an air traffic controller in Washington during the DB Cooper hijacking. He said it was absolutely insane, that there was FBI everywhere, phone ringing off the hook, absolute chaos. He told me he’s near positive he died during/because of the jump and that he doubts he even made it to the ground. Cool guy, he wound up becoming a pilot. He died early this year. RIP Tom. I hope you found out who DB Cooper actually was.

I wasn't feeling emotional until that sentence. That was kinda beautiful lol
I hope he rests easy too if he really was a good guy
"The Ghost of D.B. Cooper" where he's just running around with a parachute attached sounds like a perfect Scooby Doo villain tbh
"Alright gang lets see whos under the mask"

pretty daring of Charlie to show up after being outed as Jack the Ripper last week

I have a few ideas for episodes:
- H.H. Holmes
- The Byford Dolphin Accident
- The Sinking of Scandies Rose
- 2010 Copiapo Mining Accident
- The Invasion of Panama (and psychological warfare. How they got Manuel Noriega to surrender)
- Pablo Escobar and the "Columbian Conflict"
- The Symbionese Liberation Army (apparently, they managed to brainwash a lady they kidnapped. IDK if you believe her or not though)
- The Weathermen or the Weather Underground (apparently, back in the day detonations were occurring on a weekly basis)
- The Normalmstorg Robbery (Stockholm Syndrome)
- Juliane Koepke
- Reports of Ball Lightning (I don't know if anyone ever found an explanation for them. Interesting way to go into tangents on other freaky-looking phenomenon in electrical storms)
That's all I could think of for now, random brainstorms and stuff. Throw in your ideas in the comments, they're probably better than mine.
Addendum(s)/Edits: The Lancashire (Pendle) Witches
@shreeeeeeeeeeeeee The Burari Deaths, Tavlar Case, Jiah Khan, Sredevi, Sushant Singh Rajput,
These are really cool, please comment this on the more recent eps too. Personally I’d also like to see them cover the Burari Deaths, the Talvar case and the deaths of Jiah Khan, Sridevi, and/or Sushant Singh Rajput, because I’m indian and find these cases much less covered on but just as interesting but I doubt they’d touch these cases
Thanks for this! I really only know of the byford accident so if ever in a learning mystery mood I'll def be looking those up!

My theory is that he simply hid on the plane until later on when he could safely leave. Explains why the planes following him didn't see him jump.

You guys should do a video on skinwalker ranch. The whole property is weird, its a cattleranch built on cursed lands, the property has had mutiple strange encounters (such as a supernatrual wolf, a wormhole sighting and alien encounters.) There are water ways that they had dyed neon green to figure out where they led to, and the streams just dont empty into any known bodies of water, just straight up disappear below ground. A billionaire had purchased the property and brought a team of investigators there for 10 years and apperently the vast majority of their findings were never allowed to be published. All the conspiracies around the property are just wild, and it sounds like something up you guys alley
It’s a known scam. Skinwalker ranch isn’t a real phenomenon
@HallaDarVemArDu the only notable people who called it a scam was an author, a major critic of Bigelow, and an ufoligist who critized them for monitoring the properity. Regardless of if the Sherman family's claims are true or false, Bigelow's research team (specifically comprised of paranormal skeptics) had their own incounters, and it there are still questions around the the geological phenomenon, such as the previously mentioned streams that lead to nowhere. The property is still incredible interesting, including the conspiracies. Also, saying they shouldn't make a video on it because it is a "well known scam" would mean you'd have to agree with the idea that they should never have made the goatman video, agartha video, mothman video, wendigoo video, Jersey Devil video, Denver International Airport video, Bermuda triangle video, or any other video involving a crypid or conspiracy theory because they would be ether unprovable or most-likly/entirely false.
It's good to see the Man, The Myth, The Legend, The Charlie has returned.
I've actually been waiting for a DB Cooper episode because I've always found his story fascinating. I'm a little surprised you guys didn't have more theories on the subject, I like hearing the wacky and wild tangents instead of just the script reading (even if the notes are often well done)

Someday, perhaps as an April Fools episode or something, you should do a Red Thread episode about the Rule of Two. Do the episode exactly like all the rest, including the obligatory Rule of Two reference/joke in the first 20 minutes, and talk about it from an in-universe perspective as if it were a real event like all the rest of the mysteries.

I think a really interesting addendum to Charlie's point about missing person's reports is that since he might be French-Canadian the FBI did not check the reports from Canada
