You should put the motorcycle in neutral at stops instead of leaving load on clutch by holding lever in.
My respect for Kawasaki skyrocketed after they released this super charged engine. What a bike...
Just got myself a 2020 non SE version.
They make about 175 at the wheel and are heavily restricted. I.e close to the redline you're making only about 130bhp with the standard map.
215 at the wheel is no issue for these bikes, and is considered a 'safe' tune. That's a 40hp gain at the wheel for a standard remap.
The thing about this bike is not the power, it's how relentlessly it provides it and the relatively short gearing, it's ridiculous.
Honestly respect Kawasaki for making this engine. They can do it because they're a huge company who make most of their money outside of motorcycling. This is like their hobby, their real job is in shipping.
I think that's why we get stupid bikes from them and the ZH2 is at the top of stupid. Love it.
I rode this bike today, was ok but I prefer my Triumph Speed triple, maybe because it’s lighter I’m not too sure I found the H2 really heavy it’s Stella fun Bike very comfortable good performance but nothing out of this world. It’s fast but there’s nothing crazy about it.
Bought one in October last year have a Bmw GS also but the Kawasaki is mental had loads of sports bikes R1s Fireblades but nothing has put a smile on my face like that Supercharger thanks Kawasaki for being different 👋👋

What did you pay for it? Just bought a 2023 Z900 and saw the Z H2 as I was walking out of the store. It winked at me and seduced my soul.
I’m glad you like the ZH2. I was waiting on this review!! The only way I describe mine is that when you pin the throttle it leaves your soul behind. Unbelievably powerful but yet so comfortable and amazingly rideable.
If you were in San Antonio I’d totally let you ride mine. When the ECUs are derestricted on these…. Totally different

I have one, and you can explain it better than me, yep, this bike feels different than other super naked bikes. The power is always there, you do not need the high rpm. Fun bike, you need quite a bit of restrain with this bike. Keep-up the good work, all your videos are top notch.

Thia is what i say since i had one. Ppl continue to talk about the insane power of bikes like 1290, mt10 etx.. but this one is on another level..think that that bike of the video is about 165hp at rhe rear wheel, onece you remap it you reach 210+ hp it s insane and beautiful❤❤❤

Moto, I picked up it's Big Brother last year H2 SE-SX Sport Tourer and was instantly addicted - Kawasaki has worked magic on this line- I may lower my pegs a touch after seeing how comfortable this one looks
That's been my dream bike for awhile now, what year did you get? How does it handle in the city, easy enough to maneuver and handle that power on smaller streets? Is parking it in tight spaces ok? How's the comfort, and if you have done 2up is your passenger comfortable on it for long rides? Really appreciate any thoughts you have, really want it as my tourer!

My first bike was the z900 and after road trips, track days general road riding I realised naked bikes offer everything I need in a bike and 1 bike can be my all rounder.
I decided to step up to the ZH2 SE and what a machine. Racefit slip-on exhaust (cat still in place) and an air filter. Because of forced induction the power gains with correct mapping are insane.
It went from 178bhp / 96ft lbs torque at the back wheel to
232bhp / 107 ft lbs of torque.
Its absolutely stupid, your up to wind blast speeds way too quickly, you feel your hanging on for dear life but it remains so linear, the thing feels like it’s hitting powerband all the way through the rev range so you’re always prepared for it.
If desired put it in rain mode and you can have a much more tame experience and along with all the tech it’s way more manageable than this bike should ever be.
You’d be welcome to ride it if you’re ever in the Uk!
I rode it yesterday and it was ok but it wasn’t as mental as I thought it would be, it’s very easy to ride though but I preferred my Triumph Speed triple Rs

I might be too short for this bike, and I do know the tricks for shorter riders, like one foot down on stops. Thanks again, for your review. Same here, purchased a new 2022 Z H2 SE at the beginning of March but until the salt on the UK roads has been washed away with rain, the bikes staying in the garage. Looking forward to the summer though.

I had a regular Z1000 a decade ago and I can’t imagine it with so much more power, my Z would power wheelie whenever I rode with a hint of aggression, the front was always light, I would guess this one would just lean on the electronics under power.

I do love mine sounds even better with a decent pipe and that rush as the supercharger kicks in and you have to use a little caution.

Had the MT10 , and the H2sxse+. Love my new Busa more. Pictures do no do it justice though. Pulls more than the H2 did , lower through higher. But , the MT was way cheaper . Buy what you can afford and love it as they are all in reality, more power than you’ll ever need on the street.

Words you are looking for is ‘Power under the curve’ if you look at a dyno graph, most are linear low to high, but things like this have more down low, and you don’t need to be in the high rpm band to feel it.
And toque lots of it.

FWIW: They got over 20 mph more top end on my 2017 V Max by unrestricting the ECU.

Had a 2022 H2SXSE, and it was just not comfortable ergonomically. The Zh2 might have been a better choice, but I wanted some wind protection. I would love to see this engine in a Versys and a larger capacity fuel tank and shaft drive.
I have the 21 SXSE *, 6 foot tall, I put Murphs bar risers and Knight pegs on, 1.3/8 change on each. Much more comfortable than my ZX14R.

Kawi's gas tanks are like high and huge looks like you are holding the handles with an exercise balloonin your lap.
I can feel my front tire try to lift on my Z900. I couldn't imagine having it super charged XD

Super Duke has that instant torque everywhere as well. Very light front end. Wheelies are always just an aggressive turn of the throttle away.
Ktm is for fun and twiesty , kawa for both and everything else
It makes like 20hp less than the Z H2, and it’s a V twin so not gunna be as fast or fun as a supercharged inline 4. Nor nearly as reliable.
@Chase v twin is completely reliable. The LC engines are based off Dakar and Endurance racing engines. No problem there. Also less actual mechanical points of failure than a supercharged inline 4.
Also, 20 less HP, but more torque, and about 75 lbs less weight.
You should ride KTM Super Duke 1290R after this I wonder which one would be your favorite

I'd like to see you try out a ZZR1400 or ZX-14R as you call them over there. It was my dream bike and I bought one off my mate. He has a proper H2 (ridiculous bike!) and this one also which he's unsure about. But I'm happy with my big fat Zed! 👌 EDIT: He has the H2 SXSE, my mistake.

A friend of mine had a zx14 for several years then bought the h2 se sx (sx se ?...lol) and was very disappointed with the performance of it and liked the 14 a lot more.
@@Loiczzr Exactly the same with my mate! He's had it tuned and the ecu flashed at great expense and while it's a lovely bike, he's used to the 14 that he sold me and his real H2 so it's been a big disappointment for him too.
We did a roll on drag race, 6th gear ticking over at about 20mph and then both went wide open on the throttle. I left him for dead on his old bike!
I'm not sure what place some of these bikes have in the whole thing. 🤔 And this Jitsu guy's review of the 14 was shit, all he talked about was his old Busa. I think he believes himself to be some sort of God 😉

How was the weight difference as this beast is about 60 to 80 pounds heavier than mt10
Can you test ride the Royal Enfield Hunter 350? Or any of the other 350s? Can you do it with city riding in mind. All the tests I've seen from US of Americans is they say "Don't buy it, it's not for high way ridining". Well duh, ofc not, it's a 350. So if you could do a city ride with them that would be awesome.

I own a 2020 zh2, its ecu flashed and has a full exuhaust. If u think stock is fast and powerfull, u dont know half of it let me tell u

What is the purpose making the quick shifter able to turn on and off?
I'm just guessing here, but my best guess would be a lot of the bike is controlled through electronics (including the quick shifter). Then allowing the rider to use the feature as/or if needed. :)
I am in love with this scooter, however that stock pipe is ridiculous AF! And why does the zH2 have Brembo brake on the front only. “Nissin” on the rear? I haven’t even bought one yet and I’m buying upgrades. Lol. Love the neutral seating position! Naked H2 is the one for me!! I’m getting one and it she will be tuned and that huge ass Can will come off and the rear brakes will be swapped to Brems asap as well. This is happening.
Sport mode. Cracks me up that there's anything BUT sport mode on this bike. Did anyone else notice that big bee that flew by at 6:38?

I love the idea of boosted motors on bikes BUT my idea is using it to achieve a super lightweight but plenty powerful bike ....I am thinking single cylinder 100+hp weighing 300llbs In theory that should be totally doable no? I dont know the displacement but I am guessing 400ish cc? Aww heck go ahead and make it 500cc right? Now a full tilt H2R make 310hp from a 4 cylinder 1000cc closed course only yada yada just saying. each of those 250cc jugs is making over 75 ponies yes? So then logically A 350 single should have zero problems making 100hp And there is no reason I a 350 even with a supercharger cant be a svelte 300ish llbs full of fuel all euro5 street ready am I right? Can you imagine how SWEET a little canyon bike that could be? THAT is the Bike I want Kawasaki to build me! I can almost taste it right now! It would put everything else to shame in the canyons as far as fun factor Or hey maybe even a 350 twin just to get some RPM out of it even though it would tack on 50 llbs But a 1000cc 4 cylinder is OVER THE TOP largely unusable just crazy! Not that it wouldnt be thrilling and fun I'm just saying you could never really tap into it very far so what is the point?
