I use 3 on that controller for Warzone. I jump, crouch and ping with my paddles. Ive had it for about 3 months and no issues so far. Experiment with the mapping to find a combination you like.
Its true that every controller does have the same modules, but whats weird is they all perform differently in terms of reliability. At least when they don't COME broken lol
Playing claw is just something you're born with, like I have skinny fingers and I don't find holding the controller normally doesn't give me an edge in competitive games. So the way I play claw is a bit more comfortable than playing normal (for me at least), I have my pointing finger on the A,B,X,Y buttons and my middle finger lays in between the RB and RT buttons so I can easily reload after shooting or slide cancel without keeping my thumb off the right analog stick.
around a year or two ago I made the choice to learn to play claw on a stock xbox controller. It took a week or so to become efficient with and I played that way up until 1 month ago when I got the wolverine te. Skip the pain and hard work, spend an extra 20 on a pro controller.
I've been hesitant on getting an elite controlling because i was unsure i could adapt to the paddles after playing for so long with buttons. I video on hand placement and technique with paddles would be greatly appreciated.
if you dont have paddles make jump LB and crouch hold right stick. I recommend it if you play apex the setting is called evolved. Its takes some time to learn if you havent played bumper jumper b4. you dont have to take your fingers off the stick for jumping or crouching which is amazing definitely the best option if you dont have pads.
For sure jumping and prob Y or the triangle button depending on the controller u play pretty much try to see if you can avoid using the action buttons by using the paddles but only if ur comfortable with it

Can I ask what are the controller settings sensitivity etc that you set to use with the kontrol freeks for call of duty please? Also what about tension setting on elite controller 2? I have just bought the wolverine tournament 2 which is arriving on Tuesday

I didn't get that first point. What do you mean there's not enough buttons? The whole concept of paddles is just to replace the abxy buttons so you will end up using the same amount of buttons because where is that octopus that can use paddles with the front buttons ? Beside there's not a single game that needs that
Dark souls made me a claw player you need to. they map 4 actions to the same button, B is Dodge, but also run, back step, and jump........ My hand adapted to the claw strategy without anyone telling me
This is flase on the controller side of things. Their controllers are the so far the best ones I've seen in terms of reliability. That, and their pretty unique in feature set. However, about the original question, I'm not sure. I haven't messed with the raijus, but I'm positive their similar to the wolverines due to them appearing to be made from the same materials
My Raiju developed a bad downward stick drift in 2 weeks and I remember I had to replace my Onza 3 times back in the X360 days. My friends Raiju right bumper broke in a few months. Maybe the Wolverine is better, but I only have bad experience with Razer console products. Their PC stuff is pretty good tho, my favourite mouse is still the Deathadder.
Can the paddles and the ABXY buttons be mapped to be entirely seperate commands? On the Elite Series 2 wireless controller, in Halo Infinite, the paddles only seem to replicate ABXY and cannot be decoupled. My son bought a second hand series 1 Elite controller and was able to map P2 sprint, P3 grenade, P4 melee. P1 didn't work, so he returned it under warranty and bought a second hand Series 2 controller. Now he can only replicate the ABXY buttons with the paddles. On the series 2, pushing P3 to Throw Grenade says he is binding A, which removes it from Jump. He reckons he's doing the same process as the original controller. I've had a go myself and same thing - the paddles only replicate the ABXY buttons??? I'm happy to be called dumb if someone can help us out!
