Which of these 4 paddle controllers for the Xbox One and Series S/X have the best ergonomics, and features in the back paddle/button department. Rear buttons is the most important feature of an Esports/FPS controller and it deserves it's own video.

No argument Button are better than paddles but comfort= superiority
had 2 elite 2 controllers break on me, the A button became unresponsive , real shame
Same thing happened to me after 2 years of seige man
Elite 2 is the best controller I've ever used, but they literally start to break within months of regular use. Bumpers start to go, paddles start to go.
If the elite didn't literally fall apart then I'd recommend it, but simply because of how unreliable they are I wouldn't suggest them to anyone unless then had some super duper warranty cover your ass free controller replacement deal
I don’t see how some people have it last years and others for in months, makes no sense
yep, went to this video to find the next controller. The stick drift is horrendous on the elite and I've been dealing with it for months now.
Putting my foot down
my bumpers double click like crazy after 2-3 months of super light use, just outside of the warranty, i like microsoft so i was super dissapointed, not to mention stick drift
Merry Christmas Gamer Heaven and everyone 🎄🎁
Merry Christmas buddy
Love my powerA spectra this version only has 2 back buttons haven’t had an issue for 4 months and it’s only 40$
Hmm is it really that good? Seems to good to be true if so I’ll order one right now lol
@@Blissreign how's the stick drift? LOL
@@dilladoodilla I didn’t get it tbh So many bad reviews so so I ordered a HYPR
When razer made the chroma 2 I was excited but once I saw rear paddles instead of buttons I didn’t even give it a second glance, I just want them to either reissue/ update their Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition which is BY FAR their Best Controller/ Masterpiece in my Opinion.
I love my razer wolverine tournament edition so much. I can not go back to a controller without the extra buttons near the triggers. I want to get a series S but idk what to do about the controller situation. The scuf is on my mind purply for the right hair trigger but I’m not sure about the paddles, if they also had the extra buttons near the triggers on the scuff I’d give up 300$
@@314Cody Series S still has USB port so The Tournament works on it, I personally have a series x and use mine still
@@HumanSpree I have the same controller, actually have 2, one sealed in box, by far the best controller razer made, I use it both on my PC and Xbox
The elite 2 still has issues i had 2 recently all with stick drift and u should review the nacon revolution the xbox variation i want to know what u think before u buy it
You NEED some sleep bruh! BTW great vid!
I love the elite 2 but have you run into the issue where the paddles stop working everyone I’ve owned have broken
Im interested in the V2 chroma, it seems to be overall a good controller dispitr the different buttons on the bottom, anyone got some input on the controller overall being okay?
So much better than the xbox elite because it dosent break after 3 months and it has mechanical buttons
@@danielpowrie9078 heh heh, bought one a week ago and its been great. Better than my 15$ one from walmart.
Never buying a elite series 2 again. Broke in 4 months
I love how Razer has the extra buttons on the top of the controller near the bumpers. Anyone know of any other brands who have a similar design?
i’ve been looking forever for an alternative with the extra bumper buttons, have you found one yet??
Just gonna say in full disclosure, scuf is the $hittiest controllers I've ever wasted $200 on. Had a wired/wireless vantage that quit working 10 months after I paid $200 of my hard earned money, 2 months before the warranty expired and scufs only solution was to give me 50% off a new one. Never one time was I offered to return it for repair or exchange so I folded it in half, tossed it in the garbage and ordered a nacon evolution pro. I'll never pay another dime on a scuf product. Even against dozens of bad reviews I gave it a chance and got burned. Never again scuf
I’ve tried a lot of controllers. Received the Hex Xbox controller yesterday and I’m effectively able to use all 4 back buttons. It has the best ergonomics of any controller out there. The price tag is a little high especially because they decided to use a battery pack option other than that totally worth it.
Good review
Does it have trigger locks?
Looks like a standard Xbox controller with a 40$ extremerate hope kit that they’re selling for 250$, ouch! As someone who has tried every Xbox controller with paddles, rear buttons, and/or attachments, the rear buttons featured on this controller (overpriced extremerate hope remap kit) are hands down the most naturally placed and comfortable to use.
the wolverine is perfect for people with large hands, the back buttons arent too awkward in that case
Yes ! I have small hands and is a big L
its the most comfortable controller i ever use
* I'm a big L hahaha
If you’re thinking about what kit to get or controller, the extremerate 4 buttons kit is by far one of the best. That being said, you will have to install it yourself and do some soldering. Some of that soldering is NOT easy as there is a small cluster of solder points on the controller board. If you are experienced in soldering this will be easy AF. If you are not, take your time. Practice a bit on something else so you get comfortable with the heat, how to manipulate the solder and to maintain a steady hand. I wouldn’t normally add this much caution, but that one area is just asking to get messed up. Now, other than the DIYness of it, they are perfect.
You will see some custom controller sellers use this kit and the like and charge literally hundreds of dollars for these buttons and a whole bunch of stuff you don’t need. Trust me. And if you wanted the “perks” you can install yourself pretty easily such as analog sticks, clicky buttons, etc. No soldering required for those things.
Now for the actual performance. I love the placement of these things. Perfect. Better than the PS5 kit-which I have-that’s how flawless the placement is. Not to say others don’t have the same placement. Aimcontrollers look to have similar placement. The elite controllers are pretty good with placement as well.
So you’re posed with a question. Do you want to pay a 💩 ton of money for a name brand/custom controller when all you need is back buttons or do you want to DIY and spend a little extra money on the things you want ie. clicky triggers-which are cool had them on my dualsense-, modular analog sticks, custom colors, etc. You won’t pay nearly as much doing it yourself. I literally have this kit in matte black and a pair of mixed height orange control freeks. Done.
Best value for the money.
I got the rise4 remap kit for the bdm-030 and I keep hitting them by accident it’s too easy to click by accident it’s the metal ones. Did I mabye install it wrong? I didnt solder it as it works fine without soldering. Just having it press easily by mistake.
Bro elite series s was a waste of money 200 controller getting stick drift hella quick👎
I am playing since a long time with Elite series 1 and now the Elite series 2.
It's an amazing controller.
I reccently buy a Scuf Instinct Pro, it's nice too but i only can use 2 paddle. I think it's to expansive.
I have a Battle Beaver Custom controller with 2 rear buttons and it's very nice too. You can chose many position for the rear buttons. That's great.
I’m on my 2nd elite series 2 controller. The only issue I’ve had with mine is the bumpers after some months become unresponsive so I have to map a bumper to a paddle which isn’t an issue but I would rather using my paddles for another button.
The bumper design on the elite 2 controller is awful. Both of my bumpers are broken after 6 months of use as well
@@MnikataI’ve gone through probably 5 (lost count) elite 2 controllers because of bumpers. So statistically speaking, for me, there’s a 100% chance bumpers will go out within some months
It's all personal preference. I like the fusion pro 2 the most with the paddles in a butterfly configuration.
Same. Too bad every single controller I buy from them has left leaning stick drift
Don’t get me wrong I love my new Scuf instinct pro, also love that I won it during a faze stream and didn’t have to pay for it. However, I love the feeling of the Victrix gambit. Best paddles/buttons out there and can use 2 or 4. 😘 muah! Also, the original fusion pro has solid paddles, but when you get into that price point you may as well just go with something like the turtle beach recon or regular fusion (that is if 2 paddles/buttons works for you). And funny enough, I have a Razer Raiju mobile controller that has 4 pro buttons (2 on top, 2 on back) that I use on PC that absolutely feels incredible!! Happy hunting!!!
Great review though regardless!!!
Razer works excellent for me, once you get use to holding the paddles and mainly press the top two. And the extra triggers are really good. 6 extra buttons for $150 is bot bad at all.
This man is not lying
+ durability, elite dies after 3 months and so far all razers for worked fine 2+ years
@@xJSTNx I've gone through like 3 elites from just using them and then I switched to the razer and it's just so much better
@@danielpowrie9078 yh man they're just built different 😂😂
Well you can get a flydigi apex 2 for 90 and get 8 extra buttons
I absolutely love the elite series 2. I don’t know if anyone else has had an insane amount of issues with them, but I just purchased my ELEVENTH Elite series 2 since March 2021. I keep buying them because they are absolutely the most comfortable and all around terrific controller, but oh my. Whoever Microsoft has working in their Quality department all need fired. I’ve gotten some that arrived with botched bumpers, B button(kinda common in my case), some A buttons, and also just in general had a lot of them start off great but start having button response/sticking issues within the first week(yes I wash my damn hands before I play, I’m not an animal). The stick drift, don’t even get me started. All 11 of them within the year, and all 14 I’ve owned in total since their release, 16 if you count the series 1, have just been plagued from the second I took them out of the box. But in purchasing my 11th in a year, yesterday, I plugged that bad boy in, and just hit all the buttons and jiggled the sticks to check it over. And I’ll be goddamned if the left stick didn’t stick about 3/4 to the right when I cranked it right. I replicated the issue about 5-6 times and then it straightened out.
BUT TLDR for anyone considering one; honestly, take your chances. They really are the best, but just beware of the existing issues that a lot of people have, AND GET THE DAMN WARRANTY IT COVERS EVERYTHING I MENTIONED! For Where I’ve bought them anyways (Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and 1 from Microsoft)
And if you didn’t read, I understand. I can ramble. But have a good day anyways 🤓
That's why I'm on this video. I had many problems with me elite 2 as well. And I want something with similar features that has better quality
Why would you buy something 11 times after it failed? You are a sucker just playing into Microsoft’s hand dude. Wake tf up!!
11!? Holy shit man that's insane. Just bought the fusion 2 cause my elite 2 paddles stopped working, the grips are peeling off, and now it rattles cause something is loose inside. Not worth $180 IMO, especially since I'm a casual gamer and don't abuse the controller playing fps games. Should have better long term quality
Awesome review man. I've used the Aim PS4 and PS5 controllers so far. PS4 being pretty good but the PS5 paddle placement is literally perfect for me. Looking to get an Xbox controller and so far I've seen a lot of praise for the Razer controllers but the paddle placement seems really weird to me, just like you mentioned. I would go with the elites but holy shit, the only thing I've read about them is that they are incredibly unreliable.
What xbox controller did u go with goat only fancy one I have had is elite 2 its dog shit I'm deffo gunna go with bb or Hex gaming the question is to get an old gen controller or a new gen I'm hearing new gen is just cheaper worst old gen
@@HarryR007 I didn't buy any. Tbh I haven't touched my Xbox in months. I was mainly looking to get a custom controller for Halo but we all know what state that game is in unfortunately
what are the best ones for durability, and warrenty. I have an elite 2 and have some bad bad deadzone ive already used my warranty so now i have to spend another 200
I personally love the Razer Wolverine Ultimate/V2Chroma paddles. Perfect placement for me. The ones located on the grips I always tend to hit accidently in intense situations. And the type on the Elite makes it impossible for me to grip my controller properly at all.
Same
Yeah I love the placement of the buttons. I have no issues when holding it as I just use my ring finger, leaving my pointer and middle covering the bumper and triggers at all time. 6 buttons are amazing
The shell just isn't as ergonomic as the elites, and having the extend your fingers to keep all 4 on the paddles which you need in intense shooters worsens your aim. Its easy to not press the elite paddles, while still having a solid hold of the controller.
@@OXGNy0 If you use 2 fingers and put them on the top of the lower buttons then you don't need to move very much. I do this and it leaves my pinkies to wrap around the grip of the controller. I can place 4 fingers, covering each button but I don't do it often as I was used to only using 2 fingers on a previous controller. Also with the binds I have the lower buttons are pressed a lot more than the upper buttons
@@OXGNy0 it is definitely different for everybody. For me I find the elite to be less ergonomic than the Wolverine ultimate.
Elite is definitely the best…for about a month if you’re lucky, I’m returning it tomorrow. Not sure if I’ll take the cash and run or gamble on another…
This 30 dollar ones at Walmart are decent but the paddles on those break too
Love my wolverine ultimate
Same bro this shit is love
You have the V2 Chroma version. I'm in the market for a good controller without breaking the bank on something like a scuf right now.
Better than the chroma? Rear Buttons not too far away??
@@PMart317 get the ultimate
Man I really wanted the ultimate but I bought 3 from Best Buy they all 3 had horrible stick drift out of the box
I have the PowerA Fusion Pro 2 - you have to pretty much take 2 of the paddles off of it and use only the small paddles one on each side - That makes the terrible paddle design a bit more tolerable. Whats even worse than the paddle design though on the PowerA are the god awful trigger stops that don't even do much even on the max stop setting.. You still have to compress the triggers over 50%, lol. I ended up just getting a Xbox Elite Series 2 and now the PowerA is just a backup controller. Elite is WAY better, tolerable paddles, and has trigger stops that actually do what they're supposed to.
i see a Gamer Heaven Video i click and Like it
That’s the gamer instinct in you lol
Xbox elite seems like the best of the bunch but then you get one and, every time without fail, you end up with double clicking bumpers/buttons and drifting sticks. What in the name of gosh are they doing up at MS quality control? Holy hell. Three elites in and I can't do another.
Awesome video. I wouldn't mind trying a EliteSeries2.. the quality control has me a bit worried.
Why no Victrix in this video?
The best controller for me by far is the Gambit. One piece paddle with 4 different buttons, less possibility of failure and the input speed is insane.
They make it a bit too stiff, wish it was easier to press the buttons underneath
really? is it easy to spam fast?
What's your mic sound like through it though?
@@Hxloiwnl late response, but yes
@@dave93x just like any other Xbox controller
Got a good laugh. "As soon as you set the controller down after pausing it, it's going to activate one of the paddles and unpause the game and then you're getting your titties slapped around, so..."
i got the new series x when it came out , the default controller had its problems the LB button took a poo poo on me a few months after & the A button would double tap when pressed for some reason , then i purchased the elite 2 tried using it couldn’t get used to sooo then got the wolverine ultimate & i kinda liked it at the time but then stick drift became a huge issue & i guess after many apex hours it really did turn into cheap plastic buttons , THEN we went back to the elite 2 , from my experience elite 2 (without problems) is probably the best controller on the market , also just recently bought the 8bit pro ? for xbox it’s pretty cool but everything that i tried doesn’t come close to the elite 2 , even the new normal xbox controller is pretty dog water , people say it has better this better that blah blah blah from the one that i got that shit is crap plastic just like all the other normal xbox controllers , but it would be nice if xbox made their controllers with tactical face buttons , that would be sick , these controller face buttons are shit sony wins that category sadly , but that’s my opinion my experience .
Elite series 2 has been the worst paddle controller I’ve had. Gone through 2 in 7 months. Stick drift faster than any controller I’ve ever used. I had the scuf forza edition elite controller and it lasted almost 2 years before stick drift.
i have the razer wolverine tourney, i love the paddles on tht controller, but the paddles for the v2 chroma and the razer wolverine ultimate are the same, four buttons placed in the middle of the controller, i have big hands and i still find it uncomfortable to press on them, razer should have just learned from scuff infinity and from complaints tht putting paddles/buttons on the middle part of a controller is a bad choice, tbh the next pro controllers that come out should definitely learn from this, the paddles belong where the hand naturally rests
Where would you place the victrix gambit pro?
Word of warning with the scuf instinct pro, you will love the pad but the back 2 paddles are so fragile and Will definitely break, I had mine 9 weeks lol seems to be a design flaw
I have been using the Fusion Pro 1st gen exclusively to play COD online for over 8 months now and it is still going strong. I removed the bottom two back paddles and it helps out. I was planning on upgrading here to the Elite 2 soon but I am waiting to see if Microsoft releases a version 3.
mine just went out after about a year or so. i had the trigger stop set to the middle option n the right trigger for like 8 months and my trigger snapped in half
The bottom paddles are really bad. I ended up cutting mine down a ton and filing them down to be smooth. Once I did that they were great.
I bought Elite Series 2 and after 1 Day it went for guarantee with not working "A" button 🤦
THank God I found your channel! love your content!
I disagree with your take on the Wolverine V2 Chroma controller paddles. They may feel weird at first if you are used to paddles which are closer to the edges of the grips, but they are extremely comfortable for long gaming sessions.
I had the elite 2 and it was honestly terrible. The dead zones on it suck so if you play an FPS game it can be difficult if you like accurate gameplay
Is the V2 Chroma the only one with two extra remappable buttons on the front? Also unfortunately the front two paddles on the bottom broke for me...looking for something that can replace it. Preferably with two extra buttons on the front.
So I'm a little late here but I was wondering if anyone knew of a controller where the paddles can be remapped to keyboard keys rather than existing controller buttons
Gimme the scuf instinct pro any day. Fit perfectly in my hands and never have to worry about my hands being in a awkward layout for hours at a time whenever i am gaming
I don’t really like the hex controllers, one of the back buttons went unresponsive and major stick drift
Thanks, great review, only missing tje Battle Beaver controller. That one and Hex look interesting. I am using the Elite 2 but would like to try buttons instead of paddles on the back.
Interesting...but I personally don't care for FPS so have no need for the paddles or back buttons.
I had a lot of problem with the elite 2 and rn I’m using the instinct pro it’s good
what one works with xbox 360 ones can you help?
I need your help. Which controllers have an actual functioning headphone jack on them? I bought the Recon last week and love everything about it... but it makes your mic SUPER quiet. I was using it and loving it, but then I joined parties and tried streaming and it made the controller worthless.
Dang, it was good to hear you express what I've been thinking about SCUF instinct back paddles being hard to hit multiple commands at the same time. What a weird design choice. Not fun on the digits and joints.
8bitdo ultimate wireless is perfect as long as it doesnt disconnect
Bring back delag
😂 I will dude
Just buy the armor x pro and be done with it, things awesome
can you do the same video but for playstation 5 ?
Hex’s can be bought on extreme rate for $39
I told you I’d be back to see your review of the SCUF Instinct Pro after your initial unboxing of it a month or two ago, and I gotta say, I agree w/ your current review completely. Imo a phenomenal controller, grips feel great, trigger stoppers are exactly what they advertised (mouse clicks), and rear buttons are overall not bad, except for those top two as they are a little more difficult to “reach”. Overall a great controller & happy to see you agree!
Scuf and Elites are easily the worst. Fact
I got battle beaver and aim controller and series 2 plus others and ironically the one I fell in love with the most was the power A spectra. Buttons are perfectly placed and stick tention feels so smooth. 3 way trigger stops which aren’t as good as elite series 2 but they work. Price is insane though like 40 bucks so if it breaks just run out and get a new one lol.
i dont buy you spent like 600$ on controllers just to buy a 40$ one
@@kkzup I wish you were right trust me
One of the many examples of, just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's better.
are the elite 2 controllers able to be used on a xbox one?
Hey, I'm not much of a console/controller guy, but I had to buy a new controller for my brother recently. I am finding your content useful - Thanks!
for me scuf is the most comfortable pick. This 1 finnger for 2 buttons design is fenomenal!
Elite 2 on the other hand was ment for octupus users in my opinion, my palms were is pain after just 10 minutes of use (thankfully I was able to RMA my unit for a full refund cuz of thumbstick drift out of a box :D).
Ive had 2 Scuf Instinct Pro in the past month both break on the right paddle. The paddle just fell out of the controller. Great controller, bad design honestly. For 250 I expected it to last more than a week. It actually broke on stream for me, and I gave the benefit of the doubt and replaced with the same controller, as I enjoyed it actually. Yet the new controller just as the old, same fashion, same paddle, same break. Sad to say, I'll never be buying a Scuf again.
What is the best controller not Caring on cost
Im having a hell of bad time getting the right controller... I have the OG xbox series X controller which have the best LOOSE sticks that i have amazing aim with. However im lacking the paddles i need. I also have the Elite 2 controller and and i tried EVERYTHING with the sticks, but they just feel so damn stiff to move. I've changed the sticks to the most loose with the thingy that you can do that and fiddeled with deadzones in game and everything but it's still too stiff and i cant hit anything. Not to mention the left bumper is already broken. However that one has the paddles. I can only use 2 at time as the other 2 are too close to each other and i always press the wrong ones accidentally. What would be perfect for me would be the OG controller with 4 back paddles that are not too close to each other.. what would my options be? The sticks would HAVE to have the same feeling as the OG controller, very loose. I also bought Aftterglow wave on sale as I wanted to try that one out as it atleast has those 2 paddles but the sticks... oh those soooo stiff sticks it has. Can't use that one either. So here I am playing with the OG controller hitting everything but lack with the movement side... I play MW2 and Warzone mostly
I keep hearing about "generic $50-$60 controllers perform better than PowerA," but I can't find anything on a controller with 4 paddles that isn't literally 15$ and made of fake fisher-price plastic.
Anyone who tries to say the Wolverine is bad apparently had never played competitively. The wolverine to me is the best lineup for controllers ESPECIALLY the V1 Wolverine Ultimate Tournament edition. Best controller I have EVER had. About to upgrade to the Chroma after recently playing with a friends chroma, extremely comfortable controllers, very satisfying to play on
Ironically the powerA seems to have the best layout to have 4 fingers on the shoulder buttons and 4 on the paddles.. which is what I want cause it's optimal. Every other controller company seems oblivious that their paddle design or button layout is terrible for that.
Which is terrible thinking from their part obviously... Like customers who buy a pro controller to more optimally use all their digits.. woowouldathoughtthathuh?
I’ve owned the first elite controller then switched to fusion pro, now I’m using the razer chroma v2, and it’s by far my favorite. I actually like the paddle design and they don’t feel as cheap as you’re making it seem imo
Hey, I'm looking to get a new controller. I bought a lame target one since my xbox ones kinda broke, well the cord wasnt working well and the recharge batts are broken. But the new controller has the mapping buttons, but the analogs feel tacky and the controller itself is light. I do like the weight of the controller the xbox comes with, the default one. Ima assume these controllers dont feel light and seem a lil more durable??
I cut the paddles of my elite 2 controller down using a dremel so they are more like buttons that I have to reach for than paddles. I like them much better when they aren’t in the way. I don’t like my fingers resting on buttons or paddles. It’s too bad the A button is not responsive on every single one I’ve used.
Your a pro at what you do no dout I need your help on my dream controller I need a ps4 controller with 4 remapable padelles right side piramid square o and x left side right analog left analog and 2 depad tell me have you ever don one and can it be don and need high tention analog sticks as well let me know this is solidsnakeleo126 rank nomber 5 in the world in metal gear 5 mgo 3 let me know if my dream controller is only a dream or you can due it thanks for hearing me out
E Sports athlete?🤣😂
Since this review is about design. I agree but if it was about durability then the elite 2 would be number 1 again , which is a shame.
We can connect 8 of them at a time
Would I be able to use the scuff instinct with xbox accessories app like I can with an Elite Series controller?
My main question: What’s more durable? The elite series 2 or the latest scuff controllers?
Battle beaver or hex?
I have a wolverine and don't like the paddle locations in the middle. You loose grip on the controller. It needs tp be next to the grip.
The blue and white one is just the extreme rate HOPE kit from amazon with custom faceplate being sold branded by someone else! Cheaper to buy the kit if ur willing to do a bit of soldering 😜.
Gotta give closeups on the backs of these controllers so we can see for ourselves. Pretty tough to see the goods back there the way you've shot this.
So what you’re saying is upgrading from my fusion pro controller is the best idea I could ever do
12:00 well why aren't they in this video then? woulda been useful to know how these generic controllers look or have a link so we could try them out
Bro where is thrustmaster eswap in this lineup? Believe it or not, i like the clicky 4 buttons on the back of that controller over time. Also, The sticks are one of the most accurate pair ever.
Word do you think it will be good for cod and fn
@@Daniel-mn6zf i use it for cod. I like how accurate the sticks are. But make sure you get the nxg precision sticks. The regular sticks on my eswap pro ps4 model had stick drift after 3 months. Good thing is you can buy another stick module for cheap. I still don't have experience with the nxg sticks but rocket science channel reviewed then well.
Only shooter I play is apex. Thrust master e swap was my controller before it broke. Literally dominated with that joint, but it only lasted 6 months. The controller continously disconnects now whenever i plug it in. Kd is a 5 on that game. Thumb sticks are hella accurate, back buttons in a bad spot but doesn’t even matter much imo. Definitely a top controller for competitors, but it’s heaviness might be a deal breaker for some. The app allows u to customize vibration, trigger pull, analog deadzones as well.
@@tedmosby3304 completely agree! i got used to the back buttons. only downside for me was that 2 months in the left stick had insane stick drift, character just kept running in warzone even when deadzone was at 97%. Good thing is you can get replacement thumbstick which costs 20$ but not available in my country at the moment. currently i am using the razer wolverine tournament edition and completely in love with the paddles! might switch back to eswap when i move back to NA.
Love my eswap, overclocked mine, buttons were hard at first to get used to on the back but it absolutely helps wins gunfights
I would personally go with the Elite series 2 or the fusion pro 2 , those wolverine paddles though 🤢
I really love my Scuf controller. Have a question though, do you need to hit all 4 face buttons at the same time? Even just 3?
Hex uses Extremerate parts. So they aren’t designing anything like the other companies!
Been using elite one and two mainly just swapped to the chroma, and I got to say with the elites I was unable to use all 4 paddles due to my finger length ending up hitting both paddles instead of one at a time. With the chroma I find it to fit perfectly and I am actively using all paddles multiple times in online games and fps feels great with them.
I've weirdly got quite small hands and i'm new to the pro controller market. I had the elite series 1 at first but I feel infinitely more comfortable with the Chroma paddles, I was hitting the elite paddles accidently too often. I don't know if I adopted a style holding a controller that worked well for the chroma, but I would definitely recommend it myself.
@@greensgreens5386 how’s the chroma thumbsticks?
@@elijnr Best sticks on the market. Extra wide, and very grippy. I use the extra tall one on the right (comes in the box) for better aim.
@@MehdiBenaniiiiii hey bro. so this is going to be a bit. i’ve bought the chroma about 3-4 times. first one i didnt like it so i gave it to my cousin. second one it was thesame. i used it for a bit and felt the thumbsticks were not a fit for me.
i keep on rebuying it to give it a try lol. the paddles are perfect for me. the only issue i have with them are the thumbsticks. i feel like they’re too sensitive and it messes up my aim. i mainly play apex.
i’ve tried kontrol freeks because i can’t even get used to the default thumbstick shape. i’m more of a ps5 thumbstick guy.
so i was wondering how do you use yours? do you use the default thumbsticks or kontrol freeks. if you could tell me how you got used to the sticks
Curious as to how the Gambit compares. I would say its probably on par with the elite 2. I have my eye on that one, cause its a great price. Cause the elite 2 analogs, are pretty awful out of the box. I have to set cod mw2 to .08 deadzone to prevent drift. Its pretty dang bad for a new 180 dollar controller. I probably wont be buying another one.
My left bumper is unresponsive on the elite series 2 and 2 paddles don’t work
What do these even do?
I'm from Brazil, and here we don't have videos, content like this, I don't speak English, I'm using google translator, could you tell me what you think of the elite series 1 vs Standard controller of the xbox series S, with adapted rear pads?
Talking about the instinct pro when do you ever press 4 paddles at once? I cannot think of a single example?
My favourite was the 8bitdo Pro 2 back buttons
I tested the elite 2 at best buy (on display) and it was too small for my freakish banana fingers. In searching on forums and YT videos I'm giving the Wolverine Ultimate a try. I remember how comfortable the Duke was in my hands. Yes that brick was perfect in my hands. Stretching my fingers out the length from my thumb to my little finger is 10.25 inches. Xbox controllers are getting smaller. I'm on PC BTW, I haven't owned a console since the 360.
After what you told me, big hands and on PC . The Razer wolverine is worth a try for you!
I picked one up at best buy yesterday and immediately thought the same thing. To look at it it's hard to tell but when you pick it up it feels like it was shrunk like Alice in Wonderland.
Can you make a ps5 version?
I am waiting on 2 controllers before this happens. One of which is sold out 😟
