Betsy Singer went in-depth this half hour with Steve Ridge, who is uncovering information that hasn't been publicly share about Dustin Hoken and what he might know about Jodi's disappearance.

Poor Baby. She was truly a very sweet and innocent person who didn't deserve to have this happen to her. Rest In Peace In Heaven Always Jodi Huisentruit. :-(

Steve Ridge is SHARP. Very impressed.
He’s dedicated but reaching, it’s someone who was infatuated with her but not known to her. There’s no drug connection. The creep that did this is the only one who know cause he didn’t tell anyone. My only question about John Vancise is did he help search for her? If not that’s troubling, cause he said Jodi was like a daughter, hmmm.

Exactly there's no drug connection here with Dustin Honken , or Tony Jackson because Tony Jackson was too open and honest and he did have a good point like a black man in a small town would stand out and just because he bought a car the day before Jodi disappeared doesn't mean he kidnapped her no conspiracy here people And the farm😢er who died a month before Jodi everyone thinks it had something to do with Jodi but it didn't he died by an accident not suicide or murder. Another conspiracy everyone thinks Jerry Burns from Manchester, Iowa took Jodi because he mentioned her when he was being arrested for Michelle Martino's murder Jerry just brought up Jodi to try and make conversation that's all. The person I think who took Jodi was infatuated with Jodi probably was watched her everyday on TV, saw her out in town like the grocery store, a bar, or jogging and followed her home and found out what time she went to work , got off work, etc. He knew her movements and figured it was time to take Jodi for himself and the neighbors heard the screams I think the person probably killed her within the time he kidnapped her because he probably panicked and didn't know what to do and cut up her up and burned her body and got rid of the ashes. What the person did with her remains a mystery but my opinion. One last thing I personally don't think John Vansice killed her I think he was in love with her and too bad he has dementia now but people need to quit drinking the Kool-aid I think it's someone nobody suspects my opinion and I hope they solve it in my lifetime.

I think Vansyce did it. He was creepy and was 22 years older hanging out with Jodi and her friends. His interview was creepy too. He has alzheimer's now, so that's the end of that. She was so sweet and trusting.

This is a sad case they lived across the street from me growing up while this all took place with Jody. but everybody knows there was law enforcement involvement!

Widespread drug activity in MASON CITY, IOWA???? I grew up in the 60s. Counterculture people were discovering pot. If drugs have pervaded a town like Mason City we can kiss this country goodbye. How did it get this bad? I believe the government is involved.
Oh yes very much so. Mason City is often referred to as Little Chicago. In my young partying days, in the 90’s, Mason was a frequent stomping ground. Today, I’m very vigilant with my comings and goings there. I can’t believe I personally know a murderer from there and someone who was a murder victim in that town. Iowa definitely has a few rotten patches of the cornfield.

Soo lets do alot of speculateing here. Why would Honken want to kill Huisentruit for? Ok Soo a neighbor and Honken are ascociated that makes sense. Question is who murdered her and where did they take her body? Wanna hear something even scary or crazy than this Honken character. Who was on the Lame at that time going through the midwest murdering many women? Yep. Larry Hall. If you all know this shady character he was put in prison and caught finally after murdering 68 women total possibly includeing Tammy Zwicky who was kidnapped and found murdered near I44 interstate Sarcoxie Missouri. Soo why hasn't Hocken ratted people out for doing the dirty deeds if he is going to the electric chair? I do consider myself a celebrity in Iowa. Nobody know this but I'm going to tell you. Who do you think helped authorities find Molly Tibbetts in the field after she was kidnapped and murdered? You can tell I am a crime investigator myself. I helped police find and locate Molly's body. I have the gift of Clairvoyance and I report on many many crime stories across the United States helping authorities solve crimes. Listen to me. I want those 2 B's found that murdered those 2 little girls in Evansdale found. I don't care what needs to be done these guys need to pay for hurting those little girls.
Her creepy rich neighbour/stalker was the "silent partner" to the Honken drug enterprise. He bought Jodi the car. She found out his involvement/connection was funding the Miata. She voiced her opinions and, she was silenced...just my two cents

The police would have been if there had been direct leads to them. Over time, people come up with elaborate scenarios that usually never stand up in court. The guy who had motive was the guy who she was with the night before she was murdered.

You say John Vansice ws a corn seed salesman. Didn;t know that. But Billy Pruin was a corn grower. Did they know each other? Seems impossible that didn't. Was Mr. V jealous of the friendship Jodi had with Mr. Pruin? Is it fact that Pruin was murdered? He died by gunshot but some speculate that he tripped while holding the gun nd accidentally shot himself. Then again, there's that very jealous friend.
And then again there's the crooked MC pd.

I wonder who the three people are who havent been fully honest. MIght be from another interview. In these cases you know the person is dead but i sometimes let my mind go to what they may have gone through. Its the hiding of the body. It seems a real case of , if i cant have her , no one can.
I believe Jodi may have learned something that endangered her. Or, at least the person thought that she did.

Honken was executed. And his associate said there was no connection. So what happens next? Steve Ridge makes it sound like the case is breaking through, but it’s still cold.

Honken has no connection probably as far as being personally involved but please trust me from my experiences (no i haven’t killed someone but I’ve been in the streets and been around a lot of not so good people) when you do the type shit Dustin was doing you know about other fucked up things going on in the area on a more personal level with information because your a part of that life so it’s easy to spot and notice such things or catch the word. Like for example me the homies could just be sitting in the house and the other homie from cross town come and tells us that big plug over there on that side of town was robbed and beating bad the other night by the lil homies Over on that side of town. Even though I’ve never met this plug or the lil homies on that side of town i already know what they got into when and why it happen. That’s just a light example though for like me. Dustin was into more sinister shit then i ever was so you can imagine his crowd wasn’t to far off from him. Who know how weird that John guys seems they probably knew one another because i truly believe it was John he probably just told Dustin if he knew him.

An ear-witness to Jodi's abduction stated that Jodi seemed to scream a name, sounding like John or Ron or Don. John is a common name. Jodi knew a John, John Vansice. That is one John. But there is another John. Some people say Jodi was dating this other John. But the other John denied it. Hmmm.
