Monster Cobia Caught In Close, On The Sunshine Coast

In this video, I went offshore chasing snapper and sweetlip on plastic and weightless baits but struggled to find them. Luckily, there were plenty of big cobia around, with my biggest being around 140 cm on a 4-inch soft plastic. Enjoy the video!!!

Hey mate thank you, I was using 30 and 40 lb braid with a 30 lb leader, and the rods I was using were a Daiwa TD black Supercasta 7’4 and a Daiwa demon blood pe 2/3 in a 7'3, both great rods.

Would probably go a daiwa exceler reel and a td black rod something like a 2-4kg would be around 320 all up, just wait for sales and stuff to come up, goodluck mate
