Great vid! Thanks for testing this amp too, I was going to get one in to test, but now there's no need. Too bad it wouldn't run at 2 ohms, meaning it may have issues running at 4 ohms bridged
@MarvelousAudioMEB so if it wires like that then when you hook up your speaker to it then it doesn't matter the polarity anymore then? I've never seen a amp bridge -+ together on each side because seems like you lose the polarity that way
If I was gonna go full Mini I’d use the Kenwood KAC-M3004 for speakers and KAC-M3001 for a small subwoofer. Both have tiny foot prints, are easy to hook up, and do their rates Power all day at 4 or 8ohm loads. I’ve got the KAC-M3001 running an 8” Infinity Reference in an armrest enclosure and it’s great. Great video! I just think for the money and size they’re are better options.
Power is dual 14 gauge, use a 10 gauge crimp to combine them, Speaker out is 16 but I'm using 14 gauge OFC, to play it safe... Be very sure your cables are NOT CCA guys, 14 will easily take 180W under 10ft runs if it's pure copper or OFC
I own a Honda vtx 1300 fully dressed. I run this amp. Have for about 18 months now without any issue. Well, one, the bt antenna broke out kinda easy, but I use RCA's anyways. I have some 4 ohm 6x9 CV and some 2 ohm JBL's 6.5.
@@Qualitymobilevideo the amp is great, when it states a 106 decibel/sensitivity rating, they're right on! It's bridgeable if you want to push a set of high wattage speakers. 250 x 2.
I figured the amp would be fine for what a small 4 channel amp would be utilized for. I don't think testing single channels of a small 4 channel amp with 20 and 40 hz signals at 2 ohms is a very relevant test, though I do understand the amp shutting down when presented with a 2 ohm load is nonetheless disconcerting for a lot of people. With 2 ohm door speakers properly crossovered, I bet the amp would operate perfectly fine.
Had this installed to the upgraded speakers in my 2019 WRX STI. NOW ITS ALLLLLLL HIGHS. They wired it at Best Buy and for what I spent I probably got my money worth. However, now I have a 8” Digital Designs sub I wanna throw in the trunk. Can I wire this in? Should I use a separate amp? Also, head unit was not upgraded it is stock
It should be all highs on high pass you can adjust your crossovers your dd will definitely benefit from a mono d class amplifier it's much to greedy for this amp 500wt mono rms is ideal
Would this be a downgrade in quality compared to alpine amp sound quality ? How hot does it get? Can I put it in a smaller sealed off area and it won't overheat?
Im happy to see you guys started using proper voltages when testing, and not just in that one response video ;) Great vid btw! Do you only test cheapo amps or do you also test abit more expensive ones also? I would love to see you guys test an Focus Acoustics FX-1600D, no super cheap but not terribly expensive either. (only 400 euros here in finland).
I just bought the ST4. 1200 for my SxS. The power cables are so small what gauge should I use to hook this thing up? I’m planning on using 12 gauge but feel like I should be using 8. The power cables that came with it are...concerning.
The power is dual 14 gauge (equals 11 or 10 gauge in a crimp) Speaker out is 16, I'm running 14 gauge tinned OFC marine cable, that's what the amp comes with, also 14 gauge OFC should easily handle 180W in less than 10ft runs, BE VERY SURE TO NOT USE Clad Aluminum junk, make sure it's pure copper, or ofc
I was thinking to get one of the ST4.12000 or the PN4.520, both soundstream, the PN4.520 is more powerful but the stealth is smaller to mount in my bike, do you have any comments on my two options? I would be powering two 6x9 pioneer 60RMS and two 6.5 rockford fosgate 45RMS...

. I have a 2015 Chevy Tahoe it has the boss speaker system in a nice big screen that controls the heater and everything by any chance is there anything out there as a head unit in that I can swap it out and still use the scream for the controls of the heater
See why they used the name stealth, once you get frustrated using it at 2ohms you won't see it once you throw it in the trash can.😂😂 .. thanks for the vid . 👍
Quality Mobile Video but this amp has two 16 gauge power wires do I just solder the two power wires together then to 10 gauge wire or use a distribution block??
Hate to be that dummy but I’m getting ready to do a speaker set up and I’m wondering. Should I️ run my amp directly to my speakers or should I️ run it through the head unit or a combo of both and can I️ do this on a mono amp and if not what amp should I️ use Thanks in advance
You're clipping the living shit out of it for 75W. How is this even a test? Might as well toss it on some power lines and rate it 500,000w pulsed output.
Great vid! Thanks for testing this amp too, I was going to get one in to test, but now there's no need. Too bad it wouldn't run at 2 ohms, meaning it may have issues running at 4 ohms bridged
BigDWiz still no Kenwood KAC-M3004, but few Mini amps are.
Thanks man! Yea we were pretty disappointed when we tried going below 3 ohms
@MarvelousAudioMEB what do you connect for bridge mode RL-/FL-together and RR+/FR+ ?
THANKS
@MarvelousAudioMEB so if it wires like that then when you hook up your speaker to it then it doesn't matter the polarity anymore then?

💕💕 FINALLY an actually test of this amp 💕

What size Power wire would you recommend using to run this in the Trunk of a Corolla?
8 Gauge
So this amp give 74-76 rms per Channel at 4ohm ?
So can I use this to power front 2 ohm speakers and rear 4 ohms?
Would this be a downgrade in quality compared to alpine amp sound quality ?
How hot does it get? Can I put it in a smaller sealed off area and it won't overheat?

We'll start doing higher end stuff for sure!

I want to add one 6x9 speaker in it own box I already have bass so this would be use for voice only how good would it sound and would it be loud ?
I don't understand the rca outputs though I'm not getting audio through my speakers

Do you need to feed it to the car battery?
Should've tested bluetooth. So basically this little thing can power 100 watts per channel rms for 3ohms speakers? I don't know if I'd trust it
Without a true Bluetooth calibrated source we are unable to test it.
Do you or anyone have a video of how to wire the Bluetooth to the non bluetooth to run both together ?
Can you test the output power bridged at 4 ohms?
Christopher Domasig that would have been nice to see for me as well
Also would like to know.
So is it a good amp to run on a motorcycle or what amp should I look into
A car
What gauge wire should I use to hook up this amp??
At least 10-gauge power and ground leads recommended
Quality Mobile Video but this amp has two 16 gauge power wires do I just solder the two power wires together then to 10 gauge wire or use a distribution block??
Because the paper inside the box doesn’t really show you anything about wiring it up.
I’m also confused on hooking up the power and ground or reducing one big wire down to two 16 gauge wires
Would also like to know how to hook up the two power and ground wires, do I join them up to one bigger cable?

So in my system, all my speakers are powered by my head unit and my subwoofer is powered by my external mono amplifier!

-current,-the river that flows;’
I didnt even know Kipps Big Boy had a kid
For what amplifier? Just the stereo volume is enough, expending extra money, No bueno.
Soundstream: a name that used to mean quality, not anymore.
Great amp for $25.00
You did not explain how to bridge it no help
lol why did they make those outrageous claims when during your testing it never came close to those peak power levels haha
Marketingggg
And it’s water repellent
