Yeah. Alright. Ain't nothing like watching a well synched band. Great guitar playing and nothing can beat the smile on the drummer. Them boys are having fun!
This is an amazing version of one of my favourite songs, Mark! Have you ever thought about making a album that just covers 80's classics with just your trio, (you know this, toto etc...)? Because I would buy that shit in an instant, haha. Anyway, keep slaying with your playing mark, you've quickly become one of my favourite guitar players in the last year and can't wait to see you in Manchester in April!
Good gracious... Honestly Mark, were you at all worried that your tone was maybe just too good? I mean really... I thought I knew what great tone was until I watched this! Haha Absolutely killing it as always bro :)
Love the guitar player. Band had little to no groove. Drummer just kept the same beat like he'd never heard the song before. Sorry I wanted it to be better
No joke. This is such a deceptively tough groove to play on the drums (evidenced by the 100's of bad covers on youtube). I thought your drummer killed it. Totally locked in, and gave you a ton of space to work with. Good stuff.
Christopher Kratzer You're right, it is deceptively difficult. This guy is playing it wrong (leaving out the notes on the bass drum that make it hard).
I loved this arrangement of this song as a kid. 10 years later, I still have great appreciation for this arrangement 🔥🎸
When someone plays for the love of music, it cant be hidden
A living guitar hero 🦸♂️
That was SUCH a long and 'gratuitous' solo.... And we freakin' LOVED it, with a capital LOVE!
Loved the nod to Jeff Beck from 3:34 on in the solo, then you worked back to a shout out to Roland Orzibal's original solo? MASTERFUL! Tasty.
Mark is a truly gifted guitarist. Great role model for any guitarist to aspire to
Your tone and phrasing are always absolutely and outrageously on point. Such control - inspiring!
I swear, this is my favourite cover of any song ever. You absolutely SLAYED it Mark!
Great! I can't wait to hear it!
That solo is nothing short of magical bro
Yeah. Alright. Ain't nothing like watching a well synched band. Great guitar playing and nothing can beat the smile on the drummer. Them boys are having fun!
Man, I stumbled across this and it gave me the urge to make coffee and slowly nod my head to the beat! You jazz it up man. High five to ya'
That is one god damn beautiful guitar, Mark.
One of my favorite tunes! Nice arrangement.
I Have seen the movie Real Genius...in fact one of my favorite movies of all Time for the story interlocked with a gem of a soundtrack. 🤟🏾🔥🤟🏾
I love the original but keep coming back to this cover because of that guitar tone

Your tone is just phenomenal brother! Your playing way too inspiring! Thanks for sharing this!
Would LOVE to hear a collaboration between him and John Mayer
They're both so smmmoooooooth
Awesome performance!
Oh man, loving the almost Doobie Brothers-esque changes during the solo!
That was so good! The best guitar I heard for a long time!
This is absolutely fantastic.

I'll be getting it, thanks! Come down to MIAMI!!!! Lots of fans down here!
Oh such dope movement by the keys player in the solo.
'Long gratuitious guitar solo' away my friend.
Omg, that was awesome! Instant fan.
The fact that this almost sounds better then the original is nice
Beautiful cover... Now I found this is what people call "eargasm".
Beautiful man. Great cover. You made it yours🎸🎶👍
Awesome Mark!
Please remember Who gave this man this gift, Isaiah 26:12.
Nice.
Drummer was on! Sounded great with Marks playing
beautiful!
Killer tone! Nice arrangement ☺✌🏼 Love the little lead synth phrases
His overdrive tone is incredible! I know Mark uses the J Rockets .45 Cal and the Dude pedals. Anyone know what he is using in this video?
This is just too good.
Awesome tone and phrasing.
Made me instantly pick up my guitar and jam along :)
Amazing!
Man that neck pickup sounds so good! :O
Muito bom Mark! Sou seu fã.. Parabéns..

The sound is really amazing!! How do you set your flex drive, please advise.thank
@mark lettieri what gain/overdrive are you using prior to the solo? and during the solo do you change or is that the second channel on the Naylor?
pretty sure he's using the J. Rockett Audio Guthrie Trapp drive
I really enjoyed that - just found it by chance - great stuff
Drummer the whole time is like “Damn, this guy’s good!” Lol
Those phrases with the whammy bar man... Very Jeff Vai / Steve Beck - ish!
太好听了
Muito bom show de bola! Brazil!
I have an obsession with this video.. and I don't care!!
Nice
Just....wow! \|/
Good gracious... Honestly Mark, were you at all worried that your tone was maybe just too good? I mean really... I thought I knew what great tone was until I watched this! Haha Absolutely killing it as always bro :)
"grotesque guitar solo" hahah love you man
Saadman Mubtaseem gratuitous
Some Steve Vai stage movements, faces, and whammy stylings.
But I like Mark's playing more. More my style.
Someone please transcribe tabs for this please
This is your chance to learn the dots... as I'm trying to do. Say NO to tab!!!
Tab kills. Just say no
...Virgil Solozzo son's on guitar?
Hey MARk What Drive Did you use here??/
doing the Vai moves... interesting.
Let the ladies rule the world, I have guitars to build and amps to play on😎
How do you get that sound at 3:45?
+Lasmamoe Using the whammy bar.
Lasmamoe that's his signature lol
...sound like a Satriani track ..
Dude, don't say "I'm sorry", do it in the way that nobody is sorry!
Oooooh weee Mark is bad on that guitar
I didn't know you were gang affiliated. So street.
Notice how many times he tried to start it hoping the bass and drums would lock in
why would u announce that u are going to do a long boring solo?
+Mark Lettieri cool i guess. thanks for doing this cover,i am going to try it out too. great tune for sure.
the rest of the band needs to learn the song properly
No no !!! TFF are one and only .. NO FANTASY COVER PLEASE .. 👎👎👎
Get bent, homie
The guitar sounds not even close!
Love the guitar player. Band had little to no groove. Drummer just kept the same beat like he'd never heard the song before. Sorry I wanted it to be better
Jim Gillis these fellas had plenty of groove. Trust me. I was there.
+Mark Lettieri I guess my ears were trying to lock in with the original beat and it wasn't happening no offense; love what you do with that song
