Wish I could have caught your show in Raleigh last week. Life just got in the way. Going to keep an eye on your schedule. You're a super talent Mark. Keep up the great work.
Well sometimes you have to hear someone else interpret a song you didn't think you liked to actually get it !! Love the introduction of the steel guitar to complete the picture for me.
I love the original of this track... can listen to it endlessly without it ever getting stale. I'm not a fan of remakes but this is the best I've ever heard it done. That pedal steel... so great!!
Dang. Four years late to the party, but love the crisp recording that Mark does. You can hear ALL of the instrumentation and NOTHING is overproduced. Beautiful compositions.
Beautiful rendition, I had the honor of working with Milo for a year of so (i'm not in the same league by a long shot!!!) Love Milo and the rest of you guys.
My favourite song by my favourite guitarist, what a treat! Can’t wait to see you and your band live in England, Mark. Thank you again for your encouraging and inspiring email to me when I had a guitarist crisis, Mark. Things are much better and I am enjoying my guitar journey again. Kindest regards, Gaetano
Wish I can play the guitar with Mark's sofistication, but making it sing sweetly as that pedal steel! Damn, that guy is such a great player too! I got chills everytime I hear the "bend" at 4:10 and the soft sliding at 5:35! Honestly, I can't get tired of watching this video!
Three of my favourite versions. The original one of course, then the one with Lighthouse family. And this masterpiece playing here. EXCEPTIONAL with a great bass line
WTF!! What a brilliant rendering of this iconic pop song! And, who would have thought blending such a diverse, multilayered mix of instrumentation - so far from the original - would create this beautiful and glorious musical perfect storm! Whosoever idea it was to bring these superb talented heads together (which I assume had to be Mark) has shown some remarkable producing chops. Very well done, Lads!
This song has been deep in my TOP 50 LIFETIME since it came out in 85. This cover had me in tears (no pun intended) within seconds. Verklempt asf... What a gorgeous, joyous version...thank you, Mark and band!
OK, so here's the thing.........that was freakin' brilliant. Tighter than a debutante on prom night. Rhythm section to die for, pedal steel player who's off the charts......combined with superb guitar playing. Huge kudos from this ol' guitar slinger of 47+ years. Consider yourselves invited here and now to come join my ("closed") guitar group on Facebook, Guitar Players Group A-Z. Let's just say you'll be in VERY good company there (Rick Derringer, Rocky Athas, Rusty Burns before his untimely passing, Andy Tanas, Justin Johnson, Michael Angelo Batio, and most others you've never heard of but should. Superb job, gentlemen.......truly a superb job.
So amazingly detailed, crisp, smooth - like a fast drive on the open road with the top down, sun in my face and with wind in my hair - and the jams cranked! Superb
Damn, that bass player is the friggin Rock of Gibraltar. Solid.
Absolutely love his playing.
Not only is he locked in, but that tone is crispy and crystal clear.
Wes is the Bes(t)! 😉
Brilliant arrangement. The pedal steel is just magical in this one.
Thank you! Milo Deering is one of the finest all-around string musicians on Earth.

The Bass Guitar guy, the drummer and the slide guitar ol man, they are the Man!.. 👍
