I woke up one Saturday morning and had chest pain. Having already had one heart attack my PCM had advised me a few weeks out that this was a very dangerous warning sign. So my wife drove me to Walter Read Medical Center and I remember only getting in a wheel chair, handing my military ID to someone and at some point I coded and was gone for 5 minutes. I woke up briefly on the way to the Cath lab on a ventilator and was sedated back to sleep. The next day my chest hurt from both the CPR and where the electrodes were attached as they had to shock me a few times to bring me back. That was Apr 2020 and I was 58. My LAD was 100% on one end and 90% on the other end. Stay strong and thanks for sharing your story. Navy Vet 28 years.
37 when I had mine. My stubborn arse fought through for 3 days before I went to the doc. I didn't have the symptoms I thought came with a heart attack. Physical part was the easy part in comparison, imo. Glad you made it, brother. Thank you for sharing.
My dad had a widow maker. I remember when my mom told me my dad was having a heart attack. I was so hysterical. I’m thankful he’s alive. I’m grateful for the doctors at Pueblo’s hospital. I’m thankful God was there. My mom kept me strong through it all.
Just had a quadruple bypass. LAD was 100% blocked. No symptoms. Doctors said I’m the luckiest guy they’ve seen. The scar on my chest reminds me how God saved my life. Best of luck to you.
It all seemed to come into focus when I had my widow maker. All the menial, mundane things in our lives really don't mean anything. The ones we love and if we've let our loved ones know how important they really are is what came to my mind. Glad Scott survived and I'm glad I survived. I'm glad anyone survives one of these. 80% who suffer one don't.
Same thing happend to me last March.. They called me a CODE STEMI, I was going to be flown to a bigger hospital but the chopper was not available so we had to wait for an advanced cardiac ambulance to transfer me... 1stent later, with a lot of meds thank God I am still here..
Thank God this man is still alive! Family faith in Jesus no doubt was a big reason this man is alive today along with the wonderful health care providers.
Had my Aortic valve replaced and a triple bypass in July last year, 2023, was having dizzy spells which I wrote off to poor eating. They started getting worse a year or two ago but in March 23 I collapsed unconscious at home. Went to the doctors and then onto hospital. From diagnosis to operation was 17 days. All good now working my way back to fitness. A huge thank you to everyone at Warrington cardiac care unit and staff at Liverpool heart and chest unit.
My dad died of cardiac arrest around 2 years ago he was 69 . Now I have chest pain and waiting for a cardiologist appointment in 2 weeks. Glad you survived and are doing good. Hope everything is well God bless.
Had a double widowmaker, 2 massive heart attacks. 100% blockage in LAD and 95% blocked circumflex. 3hrs after surgery and dying on table and being brought back.6 months later all happened again. At least with cancer you get notice. This is violent and the brutality of it is unexplainable.
Hello friend, I suggest you try an organic plant based colorful diet with tons of arugula vegetable and fruits like watermelon if you are not diabetic. Eat no meat, no fish, no eggs, no oil, no milk. please watch Make Yourself Heart Attack Proof - Caldwell Esselstyn MD ua-cam.com/video/AYTf0z_zVs0/v-deo.html
I am a survivor of a massive heart attack. The left ascending artery was blocked 100%. I died a few times on the table. Luckily they were able to resuscitate me. They were also able to correct it with a stent.

@@wisdomandlove1661 I do still eat meat not as often. Don't really do eggs that often. I can only do 1% milk. I take fish oil, flaxseed, and an aspirin daily.

It got me, too. June 28, 2023 in Jackson Tennessee. I then had Open-heart bypass surgery- two bypasses in early July at JMCGH in Jackson Tennessee. I didn't go to the hospital the night that I actually had the heart-attack. I took my nitroglycerin and layed down until I woke up the next morning and went to my primary care doctor office. They did a EKG and said your not leaving here to go home your going to the emergency room at JMCGH. You have had a bad heart attack.

"Jesus, help us." My wife cried out to Jesus and I revived after 45 minutes of clinical death. PRAISE OUR LORD

Ask your doctor for a CAC scoring test. It’s a CT scan 3D image of your heart and valves.

I survived open-heart bypass surgery and I have the scar to prove it.
