is good to keep a few gallons of water in your truck it works better than the fire stingusher. because the stingusher is going to put the fire away but the chambers will light up on fire again if is not collected down . it worked for me

    Always carry 2 fire extinguishers
    Cause one is never enough.

I've had something similar to that happen to me. I was hauling rare dairy milk in a tanker and a car decided to brake check me, I hit the brakes, what didn't know was that the S cam on right side of my tanker rolled over the pads but not stopping the duals. It wasn't until about 2 to 3 miles down a car pulled up next to me and pointing to my tanker. I looked saw smoke pulled over and break drum was glowing red. I used my ABC exstingwisher and waited then backed off the brake and used a pipe wrench to roll the S cam back over and continued on. A pucker factor. I have many more pucker factors in my career as a truck driver.

200,000 to 400,000 miles how about 6 months to 8 years..?? Not very predictable.. I used to replace the rubber diaphragms in both the service and safety chamber years ago .. Now days they have a band that can't be taken apart in the emergency spring side.. I caged them in a vice before to take them apart..
