My truck is at 900k miles and still haven’t had any issues with after treatment besides broken sensors and wirings. My truck does a rolling regen every few days. I rarely need to do parking regen. One way for me to clean DPF is to do forced regen few times in a row with a scan tool from OTR performance

I put a bottle of the Lucas yesterday, so I guess this stuff really does work. This was also my 4th bottle I’ve used in one month.
I do not know if it's cleaning the filter but I can confirm I do a lot less regens and I idle alot since i don't have an apu. I also use the daily fuel additives as well Every time I fill up
I had the flashing def light on my 2011 Freightliner Cascadia. to clear the code I had to do a Regen every 3 days and & at the end the light wouldn't go off but I did use this product and it's been two weeks without the blinking def light coming on. they say the system is clogged and that's why you have to regen the filters. so far so good. I also use Lucas oil treatment but that might be one of the problems to the system because it's possible that the Lucas Oil Treatment is clogging the filter in the first place. I need to find out if this is true. we're also supposed to use a lower weight oil with these engines that burn property when Regent because some of the oil gets into the filters and if it's not setup to burn properly it will also clogged the filter. synthetic oil supposed to not burn so it's not a good idea to put it into your truck
This is very great points you make Ulises. I also use Lucas oil but only 1 gallon every other oil change. As my truck gets older it will burn more and I will probably use more but I never thought about the regen process caused by the Lucas oil stabilizer that makes sense to me though. I still use this Lucas deep clean stuff but also only one jug after every oil change and this year has been great. I’m told if you use this like that you can avoid getting the dpf cleaned annually which is questionable but so far good.
I heard full synthetic doesn't burn, so it actually clogs up the filter. Who to beluevecthese days! I tend to believe synthetic is better. I use a blend, but switching to full.
This stuff work amazing,I have a 2015 ram 3500 for about 2 months the truck kept on displaying the message exhaust filter 100% full... I would run it on the freeway for about 45 mins at 55 mph and it would clear then about 200 miles later the message would come back on, this was a repeated thing going on for 2 months after that the check engine light had finally came out....I was getting super annoyed cause I just had the turbo replace about 5 month before this problem....well I gave this stuff a try I put in the 16 FL OZ bottle and topped off the tank after a few days I noticed the 100% message has not displayed so far so after the tank was about near empty again I decided to buy 1 more bottle toss it in the tank and top off the tank again About 150 miles into the 2nd treatment the check engine lights shuts off I'm now noticing the truck having more power and running a lot smoother I can hear the turbo more and the throttle has became more responsive It's now been about 3,000 miles later and the truck is still running like a champ idk whats in this stuff but whatever it is. It works well I'm planning on using this every oil change I'm so stress free now with this truck because of this bottle of magic
Dump more! Next time you fill up pour 2 gallons in each tank. Drive it untill its on E. Fill Up and dump some more! You should try and do it every six months to a year. I would say 4 -6 gallons
I use pittsburgh power max mileage. One and a half tanks my apu is cleaning up the exhaust and exhaust on truck is cleaning up also. Fuel mileage is up 1/2 mpg. You only use one ounce per 25 gal. Works for me and my truck.
@@guyinatruck update for ya. 2 tanks, 240 gal , right stack has 5 years soot inside stack. After as bout 500 gal fuel, one ounce of ppmm per 25 gal, the right stack soot is gone almost totally and residual is almost white. Well whiteish..lol fuel mileage up .5 mpg. Also pulls hills LOTS better and pulls at 1150 rpm without dropping a gear. I bought the truck new, 579 pete 450 smart torque 13 speed. I am only one that drives it plus def usage has dropped to half what it used before. About 1 gal to 265 miles. Just helping a fellow trucker if I can. Yep $230 a gal BUT one ounce per 25 gal. Lasts a long time and better mpg and less def plus LOTS LESS SOOT. Cummins ISX15 btw. Soot monster.
I'm skeptical about any product that makes such claims, especially at $60 per bottle, without any evidence, any proof! I can't find anything on this product that showed actual dpf cleaning capability. None!
It is most definitely a good product but pretty expensive however less expensive than replacing your dpf filters and spending too much time in shops due to dpf system malfunctions
Oh okay nice yeah the diesel particulate filters are a pain, over time they clog up and derate the engine and cause other damage if not cleaned or replaced.

I have the OTR Diagnostics tool as well. At what soot level does your truck start an automatic rolling regen?
@@Nihil2005 it seems to start randomly for me since the soot level usually is shown at 6%, except right after a regen.

Full synthetic is the only way...very low on ashes...but if u cheap than regular 15w40 will clog and more regen.

Tried it. $250 per gallon. 6 month old dpf. Still regened as usual. No increase in fuel mileage. No increase in power.

Yes its expensive but this product really works.. save me thousands of dollars! You will notice the difference instantly

Yes it definitely will work but can get expensive and may just be a band aid. You may want to get the filter and doc etc cleaned or replaced
