    I haven't seen many Bionicle fan films but man does this just make me want to watch them all day. I love the style, the Toas, the story, and just how it's so bizarre. I really wish fan films about other characters would learn from Bionicle fan films. Most people I know that have never seen Bionicle just think Bionicle is for kids and it just saddens me; with Bionicle, the boundaries are limitless and you can create something so amazing as shown here with this Bionicle fan film. The more Bionicle fan films I watch, the more I realize how the majority of other fan films are just cash grabs for younger audiences which is why Bionicle fan films are looked down upon by many.

      Yes! I could not agree more based on the story, the style, the music, cinematography, the list goes on. I haven't seen many BIONICLE fan films myself, but I think this may lead me down a very exciting rabbit hole of fan films! If they're all half as good as this, I'm in for a sweet surprise!

    Of all the deaths, this one mattered more than any other in the franchise. If you read The Kingdom short story, it shows what could have happened if Matoro failed.
    Plus, that moment where Nuju shouted “Mata Nui lives!” I started crying.

    Hey! I did the audio mixing, a tiny bit of co-direction and I voiced Nuparu in the movie. Your video is something MSW and myself have been talking about a LOT. This is an entirely new experience at least for me, and your kind words and praise made us feel so proud of our work and super elated that we can share it with people who appreciate it this much
    The music was a very personal thing to both of us, I do have to give credit to MSW there as he composed and produced some of the music and did an amazing job on those pieces. Honestly your video is such a wonderful gift. MSW is likely to respond to you soon. It's unlikely we will be making another, but if that ever changes we will be sure you let you know!

      It's such an HONOR to be in a community that still has so much love and commitment from fans such as yourselves to make such high quality content that many other fandoms no doubt dream of seeing!
      Also, after listening to the soundtrack video, I've grown a much deeper appreciation for the score! Can't believe you guys snuck in Move Along melody vocals right under our noses! That one runs deep! Msw did reach out and we'll be having a conversation pretty soon no doubt, but I'd love to connect with you as well if you're willing! It's great to interact with different aspects of this amazing project.

    It goes to show that Bionicle is only treated as dense because of its media. If this was part of a series in the same way as Ninjago then Bionicle’s lore wouldn’t need a 9 hour video, we’d be going back to binge it. But instead we got 4 condensed films and books. But atleast we have people who are willing to go the extra mile to convey to everyone what we already know to be true

    • @cpafol
      @cpafol  8 місяців тому +2

      Personally, I love that the BIONICLE lore, backstories, and characters are so story rich. I have seen almost all of the 9 hour lore video, and read some comics. Given the full access to all the comics/books/stories on the BioMedia Project website, the information is all there at our fingertips! I can't wait to dig super deep into all of it!
