Just the right level of detail. Could do with a series covering different aspects. Chassis suspension. Electrical and turbo. Style and ergonomics etc

Tom, came across very well, a pleasure and fun to watch. I would love to see more of your projects. Content and pacing were perfect. Thanks to Alex too for a great production, this is what I like to see from this channel, any classic bike and owner/mechanic showcasing a project. Well done all.

Just came across your videos, already hooked! Interesting what you saying about clutch sticking. I have (at the back of the garage) a 1982 Suzuki Katana 1000SZ. When I got the back I thought clutch sticking just needs a strip and clean. Many months later and lost of money spent. I and some experts could not understand why the clutch should be sticking. Eventually someone suggested going back to original clutch plates. Whilst this helped and had some improvement, the bike is still not right. As per recommended I have used a 10w 40 Mineral oil. I could and still cannot understand why the bike should have this problem given how simple the operation of a clutch. It never occurred or anyone owners group ,engine specialist to me to think about the oil I was using? Busy with a VW Beetle at the moment, should get a start (again) on the Kat later this year. Thanks for the pointer and entertaining/helpful videos. I have same neighbour issue as you, riding a noisy bike early morning to the gym. 6am! Cheers

Lets see a dyno run, 280 sounds insane for a street bike but you are obviously a card carrying member od crazy town. Awesome beasty.

Nice to see this bike being put back in to service Tom. It's given me a bit of inspiration for my Bandit turbo that I'm just starting to build. Quite like the end can, is it an off the shelf item?

The end can is made by Jack frost from Holeshot Racing its a 3 inch system I believe he will sell them

Really interesting to watch, when you revved it there was sort of a light clatter each time you closed off, not saying that’s an issue just wondering what it was?, anyway keep on showing us more please 👍👍👍

I think I know what you mean but it has a internal blow of valve rather than the normal external people use. So it's quite a special sound

@@Offroadwithtom Ah right, I couldn’t quite figure it out, plus engines always sound different through a microphone, they pick up all the high frequency stuff, anyway looking forward to seeing more, thanks 👍
