I discovered you when werewolves came out. I love how you and Jackson Browne came together when you returned. I miss your music and dark insights into it. I miss you, Warren.
Night Music was an exceptional live music show!! Incredible acts like Miles Davis, Sun Ra, this guy!! Nothing like it today but also current music is a sad state of affairs.
I remember this show and used to watch reruns of Midnight Special (on VH1, I think), and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. Man, those were some great moments.
The splendid performance of Mr. Zevon...adorned by David Sanborn saxophone...great musicians!!! What scenery would the themes of his songs be showing if he was still with us? Covid19? World economic forum? New world order? transsexuality?
WZ plays a very "Neil Young" sounding harmonica the holder gives it away), and on the LP it was Neil on the harmony vocals! Two rock'n'roll powerhouses! Darn shame only one of them is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
Hiram Bullock. Was once the guitarist in David Letterman's band with Paul Shaffer. Session player for many people. From people's comments I'm just now learning he passed. RIP Warren. RIP Hiram.
One of the greatest songwriters of all time! Gone too soon. Thanks for the awesome music Warren Zevon. ♥️

My favorite song by him, thanks for posting this.
You are most welcome. Thank you for the note of appreciation.
My favorite song by him, also.

I saw Warren in concert three times...fantastic artist
Splendid isolation, stated with pride and sadness.
The No 1 Rock Genius!
R. I. P. So great....
Such a AMERICAN TREASURE/ R.I.P.

Maybe a sports personality he took a shine to, Warren was always good for songs about contemporary celebrities.
they had good banter too. rip sanborn.. and zevon
Strength and muscle and jungle work.
😊❤
History did Warren dirty.
We are here to pump! You up !!

Man, I was thinking that too. Very Neil like harmonica on a very Warren. Strange and beautiful.
David had the perfect werewolf look
😍😍
I note the significant lack of saxophone at the appropriate times in this song. Do you?😊
What do you expect from Letterman 😂,🤙
@@MrHenryDenry OR Sanborn? hahaha
David Sanborn - R.I.P. … 2024
I saw him in Calgary in summer of 1977. He was drunk as a skunk and climbed up the lighting towers. Bit of a disaster.
Guy shards that guitar solo 3:55
Tops. Hiram Bullock.
Absolutely shredded it
❤
who is the lead guitarist?

I think he just steamrolled David sanborn. Which, that’s fine. Sanborn always did give me a rash.
Turn up his voice pls
It took me 56 years to discover Warren, he’s cloaked, until you get in the mode
Letterman had hair that was perfect?!
Took me a minute to realize that's not Letterman.
tov
Just heard the bad news.
Sanborn ruined it.
