I think it's going to go to S*** and them some, for the townsfolk. Victor will disappear for three days and come back like a creepy Jesus. Some from colony house will resort to cannibalism (maybe season finale). Tabitha - paintings spoiler from the trailer could suggest Boyds wife was right and she needs to go back in full terminator mode to save them all.
I think those wood figures are the ones who moved Boyd and Sarah on season one but were unable to move them since it was a wood cabin instead of a tent, I theorize that they will be heavily connected to the lady in the kimono
ok so heres some opions i have on some of the mysteries. Fae is scottish for "from". the entity causeing all of this is a fae or fairy like folk creature. I think the stones are something like a wardstone in scottish folklore as well. Fae often kidnap children and even replace them with their own, akin to changlings. I think this entity has been around a long time, possibly made a deal with humans in the past and was either slighted or was the trickster type that turned on the humans it made a deal with. theres definetly some kidnaping of children involved and being used in some ritual that sustains it or gives it power. I think the symbol is indictive or a rune that deals with anchoring a point to many other places in the world, a kind of weave that lets it trap people from all over the world. hence the random point of origins. evil towns people are most like things akin to changlings i mentioned earlier. used to catch people offguard at first to torture them easily.
Well Jim was actually trying to make progress with that radio tower, no one else did such a thing. In season 2+3, however, Jim is just a fodder to do something stupid.
Kenny volunteered though. Another highlight to the type of person he is. Even when hating Sara last season when it came down to it he couldn’t hurt her or just watch her kill herself
And when Kenny comes back to town he'll find out her mother is *likely* dead or horribly injured, there's no more food for everyone and the monsters are smart, luring Boyd into a trap becuase of what he said ('you don't break me')
@@lordogxvii6034 I feel as if he volunteered solely because of Jim’s persistence to find Tabitha. If he would have stopped and thought like Boyd said, he would’ve realized what he said when him and Kenny were in the woods not protecting their families(that they shouldn’t have gone out there.) Thankfully Fatima was there to save Jim’s kids, but Kenny wasn’t there to protect his mom and I’m sure he’s gonna garner the guilt his mom felt about his dead’s death
Am I the only one who thinks Fatima could have easily used a sink or bucket to be slightly nauseous in rather than making someone wait an hour to take a pee in a shared house?
That was annoying but i suppose she couldnt think reasonably because of her stress about her monster fetus. Tabathas actions also annoyed me for some reason. She didnt even check the date to see if time moves different inside the pocket dimension.
That person could have tried another bathroom. I suffer from nausea and the toilet is the best. Puking into things makes me more sick cause I have to look at it
Glad im not alone thinking Tilly is giving weird vibes. She`s too chill with the whole situation its almost as if she once lived there and just came back for shits and giggles
@@mathieumurray7693 someone on a Facebook tread mentioned that Tilly might be somehow connected to the place or may be even Victor’s “mom.” After that notion, I couldn’t unsee her connection, because she is in fact too chill and happy go lucky about being “stuck” there
Finally a review channel that just doesn't recap the episode we all watched! I love the easter eggs you highlight and linking them back to previous episodes. Thank you for taking the time.
HAve you realised there are soooooooooooooo many new ones now reviewing. Makes it harder to find the good ones. Getting a bit monotonous watching the same thing over and over again from different perspective. Lucky i found this one back again too 😅
So many things pissed me off. Like why is your last food source just left out insecured? And they have a barn so it's not due to a lack of a barn. Just stuff like that gets annoying.
@@mostHumblePersonAlivehow would they that know the monsters were getting this smart... 😂. For God sake people getting annoyed over things in movie always gets me 😂😂
@@davidnansar8884 the annoying part is why wouldn't they just leave the animals to wander around until morning? And why would they think about an wide open barn not have a monster inside?
@@f.b.i-kun6591 yeah that's true but.. what if they wander into the Forest And get lost, u know, keep getting deeper and deeper into thd forest or worse the Monsters kill the animals just foe Fun and tears up the meat so that its unsalvageable just to mess with the people. Lastly they didn't anticipate the Monsters to be as smart cos usually, the Monsters won't wait around an empty barn Instead they'll move around the houses that have humans that they can kill. They didn't know the monsters will think about setting an ambush.
There’s a connection when boyd was talking to ethan about alma his friend goat. Ethan said “can you let alma go first, so that she can’t see her friends die” that is the connection when boyd told the monsters to kill him but the monsters denied so that boyd can see his friends die. It’s a torture and this shit is something else. OMG
And the conversation between Boyd and Kenny where he talked about how he doesn't want the kids to lose both of his parents and later on his ma gets killed.
I’m still surprised the survivors haven’t tried weapons like makeshift swords on the monsters since they seem to cut easy. They should have just made armor out the the scrap metal and went to battle and chopped them up.
That’s an insightful observation! The parallel between Boyd's situation with the monsters and Ethan’s empathy towards Alma the goat really highlights the show’s underlying theme of psychological torture. When Ethan asks to spare Alma the horror of witnessing the death of her fellow animals, it’s a small but potent reflection of Boyd’s experience. Boyd, at one point, offers himself to the monsters, essentially begging them to kill him to avoid further suffering, but they refuse. This forces him to live through the torment of seeing others around him perish. It’s a subtle, yet deeply unsettling layer of the show’s narrative, emphasizing that survival in Fromville is as much about enduring mental anguish as it is about physical survival. This cruel denial of a quick death is a recurring theme, reinforcing the idea that the real horror isn’t just in the monstrous entities but in the emotional and psychological breakdown the characters endure
My husband and I binged both seasons for the past few weeks and was so sad it ended! We had no idea season 3 was dropping just a few days later! Lol great timing!
Your theory about Victor’s father being blamed for his family’s disappearance is compelling and fits well with the atmosphere of suspicion and paranoia in From. Victor’s traumatic childhood and the mystery surrounding his family’s fate have been central to his character's development. Given how little we know about his father, it’s entirely plausible that locals or authorities might have suspected him of wrongdoing, especially in a situation where answers were scarce. When Victor’s father encounters Tabitha, he might indeed mistake her for someone investigating the case-like a detective or reporter-given her sudden interest in his past. His reaction to her presence could suggest that he’s still haunted by the events and wary of anyone probing into his family’s tragic history( The show often plays with misdirection and psychological tension, and this angle would add another layer to the unresolved trauma within Victor’s family, which could tie into larger mysteries about the town and its supernatural forces. If Victor’s father was falsely blamed, it would add another tragic note to the story, making his possible isolation even more heartbreaking.
So my theory is that they let Boyd live for the same reason victor is the way he is and survived so long, they even tell us with "we won't kill you, we want you broken". What if the monsters can't hurt anyone with a vital role in completing the "quest" so they emotionally break everyone instead to ensure they can't finish. I also think that's why they tried to have sarah try to Ethan, i think Ethan can assume victors role in the quest and be able to finish it. Let me know if I'm crazy.
@@bandit_six5418 Yeah, like... According to Harold Perrineau, this is not going to break him, this is going to make him pissed and go on the offensive. Kenny's gonna fucking break.
@@LampDoesVideogameNope. The trailer for next episode shows Kenny ready to go against the creatures. No tears. No sobbing. Just ready to take the fight to the monsters.
Nobody directly mentions the time difference between the two worlds, however the nurse who is there when Tabitha wakes up tells her that they found her in the woods 3 days ago. Later in the episode when the priest is talking to Boyd he mentions that he was attacked 3 days ago, Boyd was attacked at the same time that Tabitha went to the lighthouse so that would heavily imply that time is moving at the same pace inside and outside of fromville
@@VeteranSoldier thats the real question, i mean theres always the chance it wasnt the best casting but i guess we will have to wait to find that out. All i know is they made a point of letting us know it had been 3 days since the past episode in both the real world and fromville

@@BJHanoverthe animals should’ve still be put in the barn and keep it locked, if the monsters don’t know the animals are there then the animals would be safer

Am I the only one that's questioning their stupidity, Going to get the farm Animals, It was blatantly a trap, when they could have left them they would have just been roaming somewhere,Where would they go, I'll hope the writers don't start making the characters make stupid decisions. It would turn me off to the show.
They had to get the animals that was the only source of food. Plus the monsters would have killed the other animals if they didn’t come out you see they killed the cow.
I understand that they get food from the crops they grow, but mind you, for 2 whole season I’ve never seen any barn animals, neither have I heard anyone talking about them. And always wondered where are they getting fresh water and juice from. Then all of a sudden in season there are barn animals ????
@@ExoticSpartain this episode they clearly said the soil was poisoned and that is why the crops were all rotten. They have shown the animals in other seasons. Boyd clearly stated in season 1 that one day he was in the woods and found them roaming. They have mentioned the animals several times actually.
The priest knows something. He knew Thabita would find the adress inside the box, as he asked twice about it, not caring about the story she was telling
Maybe this detail isn’t important but when the priest asked Tabitha about her child’s name, he refers to the baby as a male when he asked “what was his name.” Yet, no mention of the gender happened prior. Could be a stretch but you never know 🤷♂️
I woke up this morning and heard the Music Box in my head then got jump scared by a crow at my window. I thought "I wonder if a new season of FROM will be out soon" checked and there it was. A new episode. I think we may be living in a version of that show.
This night I had a dream about the creatures walking beside regular animals for some reason... and here we are... an episode with the creatures releasing the cattle and using them as a trap ...
The days from "Fromville" are the same as the regular world. Father Kathari mentions 3 days prior how Reggie tried to kill Boyd. At the same time that's when Tabitha went to the lighthouse and when she awoke, the Doctor told her that her body was found by hikers 3 days ago
@@revwarriors7749 yeah true , its weird how he is as old as his dad ... so time move faster in fromville compared to the real world , ton of question remain unanswered and thats what i like about this serie .
It was foreshadowing when the little boy said he wants his pet goat to die first so he won’t have to watch his friends die. 😢. Later, that happened when Boyd had to to watch Chen die first. 😢
I think the monsters know that Boyd is the only person who can give hope to the village so killing him will leave everyone hopeless and remember his late wife told him it's hope that feeds the forest..Also remember when Boyd told the monsters to kill him, they told him it wasn't fun
Time doesn't flow differently between Fromville and the real world, Marielle mentions that Kristie had been missing for months by the time she arrived in the town which matches up with Kristie's experience. Victor got there in the 1970's and is in his late 50's, that aligns perfectly. They mention that the town has been in a state of perpetual summer for as long as anyone (Victor) can remember. The changing season isn't reflective of time passing, rather the environment changing and evolving to the townspeople
It’s true that From has never explicitly suggested that time flows differently between Fromville and the real world. There are key indicators that time aligns between the two. For instance, Marielle mentions that Kristie had been missing for months when she arrived in the town, which matches up with Kristie’s experience inside Fromville, confirming that time is consistent across both realms( Den of Geek Victor, who arrived in the 1970s and is now in his late 50s, also supports this theory. His age and timeline are consistent with the real world’s passage of time, further implying that there is no temporal distortion. However, what is unique is the town’s state of perpetual summer, as noted by Victor. This seems to suggest that while time moves forward normally, the town’s environment evolves independently, possibly as a mechanism tied to the supernatural forces at play The changing seasons or lack thereof reflect less about the passage of time and more about how the town itself manipulates or responds to its inhabitants. This could be a way to psychologically disorient the residents while keeping them physically in sync with the outside world.
Who else feels like Jade? Spiralling out with no answers in sight. Just more questions. Has there been any payoff yet? It's only season 3. Victor has been here for decades and he's just starting to remember his repressed memories. Taitha just visited Victor's dad. His sister could still be alive.
I mean, once they start getting some real answers the show is probably gonna start working itself out, hopefully that will start this season so our characters can gain some control of the situation. The drowned woman is Fatima's friend Very. Fatima mentioned her to Elgin at the Brundels and told him "some people become obsessed with this place". She's definitely speaking of Vera in the past tense, so I'm guessing Very drowned and Fatima inherited all her kimonos- which she wears in honor of her friend.

Everybody has weird things happening to them individually, but yet nobody shares their experiences with nobody else and when they do, they act like they’re crazy and nobody believes them which is really odd because look where they’re at if somebody told me they saw weird things how could you not believe them?
That's kind of my biggest problem with the show, but then the inverse will happen sometimes and arguably make things worse. Like, the worst part for me happened in season 2 when Boyd gets the worms and nobody sees it until a moment of convenience arises and then suddenly people can see them. Just weak writing for an otherwise very interesting show.
Weird stuff happens in real life all the time, and for many things that we actually can't explain and no one does research into these weird/unexplainable things/ppl/etc. because people thinks its pointless and will call you crazy, its extremely accurate of how human society has been since human society has started, and all these people come from human society, where even when there is weird stuff going on, your weird that you experience will still be considered crazy instead . also in our world almost everyone results to using Occam's razor to answer complex situations/things for unexplainable things, so they try to fit in. I'm not saying im above this level of thinking, but next time you ever see something weird, go and start telling people, and look at how they look at you. Have a great day/night
I’m ready for that shady old lady to be exposed. When she was sitting next to eljin and asked if he could’ve seen the woman also I don’t think it was a dream or premonition. I feel like she’s really a demon in disguise
A demon in disguise? So why not an alien? Why not a player from the real world playing the old lady in the Fromville artificial world? Why not an angel inhabiting her consciousness? Why not an android? 🙄
I think she's not a demon but instead more of a foil to victor she too was here when she was younger maybe even grew up here but unlike Victor who sort of numb to hope and shit tillie went completely off the rails probably became a serial killer or something
Am I the only one, or was walking outside at night, with monsters lurking everywhere, the most unnatural and stupidest idea ever? If you go outside at all, don't you just take the cattle into the house? Almost the entire series is focused on monsters that can't enter your house if you hang a talisman... A loose child (2x), an overly horny loner, or a schizophrenic psychopath open the door so people die... Didn't we invent locks for that? Do you need padlocks that hang a little higher? I could live there just fine. Nice and quiet in the evening.
Ahhh, that's a very interesting idea. Maybe they could learn to harness the Far Away Trees by simply writing down an address/name/description of a place and walking into the tree with that note in your hand.
If that was the case then she would’ve gone straight to Victor’s house/hometown and not have to be thrown out the tower to get there. I’m just wondering why Victor isn’t directing Jim to the bottles faraway tree where Taby went because apparently only that tree leads to the ‘tower with the children’, whereas the other faraway trees can take you anywhere.

The only thing I hate about the show was boyd's son man. He only fckin flirts and never really had an impact to the story whatsoever. So why are they highlighting them couple too much when the fckin mystery solving was unfolding. It's so annoying when after so much death the next scene is this fckin guy acting like he's in disney thinking about marriage and shit. I mean even the bald guy on the bus as an asshole but still useful in some ways and honestly have better realistic reaction to what's happening given that he has attitude it's still plausible. Boyd's son on the other hand just fckin roam around the god damn colony house and had to be saved by his gf when shit got bad. I can't believe that guy was raised by military veterans such as his parents. Kenny has a father with a damn mental difficulties and he portayed to be a better capable person setting aside even his personal vendettas when and do what's right. Honestly just don't give that fckin boyd's son a screen time.
It's supposed to pick up right where season 2 left off which works for everyone of the grown actors but you can really see the year of aging in the little boy who plays Ethan he looks way older than he did in season 2
It feels like the writers took the season 2 criticisms to heart and went back to the more simplistic formula of season 1. Thank God. Maybe there’s still hope for this show after all, and when it’s all over we’ll just remember season 2 as that weird, inert aberration.
Good observation on the credits regarding the Kimono woman. I hope each episode gives us some answers because all these unanswered questions are killing me lol
Since the monsters don't kill for substance, I take it to mean they kill just to terrorize. Just as they didn't kill Boyd, don't think they would kill everyone if they went out to the middle of town at night. The monsters or the Town "Higher Power" needs some people to be living for it's existence. I really can't wait to find out how people are selected to end up in the town.
They just blend up other shows scene and put up in front of us they don't realy have any plot like dark or other one So they just streching it without any reason to keep the process alive so they feed their family
I’ve been starting to believe that Victor is (perhaps unconsciously) the mastermind behind everything. There are too many signs; he predicts events before they happen, he’s been there longer than anyone, his supply of canned pears is practically endless, and he has never faced real danger. What if his family escaped from him and not from the village? If the monsters know everyone’s names, why does he know everyone’s name? Another thing that makes me think this world is a representation of his mind is the electrical wires going into the wall with nothing behind them; he is fundamentally a child, and like a child, he knows the wires go into the wall but doesn’t know what’s behind it. I’m not sure it’s only about him, though; he’s definitely connected to everything. Maybe to avoid being alone, he created an imaginary friend, the boy in white, and the people who end up there are drawn to his unconscious thoughts of repopulating a village? What do you think? P.S. The father’s expression when he sees the lunchbox is one of terror, not amazement.
@@otunlamoses5853 maybe Victor's dad gets to a point where he over reacts on Tabitha, alerting the police to where she is. The hospital would already have alerted them as well, as seen in episode 1 of season 3
I believe the main theme of this show is good vs evil, light vs dark. The Boy in white reminds me of Jacob from Lost. The main villain or entity that we have yet to be introduced to controls the monsters, most likely that red demon we saw on the cave drawings. This entity can also take the form of dead people , similar to the smoke monster on Lost

The paintings in the basement where painted by victors mother after she took acid with his father. He said if I recall correctly that after they took acid she started hearing voices and painted the visions she saw.
Those demon type things move, kind of slow like there are no hurry. Not sure why everybody rushes into a house. I would try different things. You could just run around them almost like zombies and not be harmed. I would keep trying different aspects of trying to hurt them to see what works. Everybody gives up too easy, but it is a good show. I like it. Victor has been there since he was a kid and he looks like he’s in his 60s so he should know a lot more than what he’s telling if he knows about weather changes and trees moving he should be almost an expert on this place at this point.
Oh man after seeing them torture tien-Chan, it would be vampire rules when morning comes. We going in there cave everyday till we find a way to kill them.

I’m pretty sure we learned time in fromville and the real world is the same in season 2 when Marielle told Kristi it had been 6 months since she went missing
The monsters are definitely playing on the conversations heard. I also think some of the monsters (not yet transformed) are hiding* in plain sight. Hence the nightmare/dream Elgin had and upon awakening saw that evil Fatima nor the (Tilly-lady*) next to him was there.
I think the pictures in the basement are from victors sister. Victor found his mums body but not his sisters so she probably made it out and got home. Probably drawing what she saw in the town and everyone thinks she's crazy so she might be in a mental hospital somewhere.
This is the part that pisses me off. Why are they not acting like "humans", even after seeing that they can actually kill these things? Humans would definitely invade their sleeping den and lay waste to every one of them and one problem solved.
But how would they kill them? The bullets dipped in the bile from the monster they killed didn't work, and they don't know of another way to harm the monsters other than when Boyd transferred his blood to Smiley.
Victor looks older than his dad 😅 maybe the pictures in the basement are from the Far Away trees painted by Victor? What ever the case I love this show!
growing up with that much stress and being generally malnourished and just overall not taking great care of himself absolutely ages him quickly, but also the place could be aging people faster but time moves the same (this might explain Boyd's parkinsons acting up a little sooner than it should and Kennys dad getting dementia so quickly, this will be confirmed or denied probably by how fast fatimas baby develops, given that its not a demon baby), super excited about the next episode!
Yeah Tilly is super sus! She probably murdered all those little kids that say “hawktuy” over and over again because there was seven children, they could be hers.
Dude- I am taking Nicky’s side on the BATHROOM man. In a house full of roommates, there is NO justification to take the bathroom for an hour. Has Fatima ever heard of a bucket, a bowl, or a small trash can!? Puke in your own bedroom girl and leave out the bathroom
I wouldn't be surprised if current residents have family connections to the town. For example, the bus driver's grandmother used to sing her that odd song, and Elgin had those weird premonitions. Jade is French and Tabitha is from a Spanish-speaking nation. Both Spain and France played important roles in early North American History. All sorts of immigrants have been crucial, ever since. Martin was a Marine, and so was Abby (Boyd was in the Army). Martin also said that weird line when he infected Boyd ("My blood is your blood now"), just like Abby's blood is Boyd's blood now, in Ellis. Anyone could be connected to the Black Civil War soldier or European pilgrim. I bet Victor's family is at the core of it all, and it all involves Native Americans. That's my not-too-thought-out theory.
Something I just noticed! Abby’s t-shirt is red when Boyd sees her in the dungeon with the music box but was wearing blue in the scenes when she was alive
Did we ever get a reason why throughout the years the MONSTERS have changed the way they UNALIVE people? During Victor’s childhood they are ripped in half like animals but during S1&2 they are opened up through their ribcages?
Evolution of the Monsters’ Behavior: One possibility is that the monsters have evolved or adapted their behavior over time. During Victor’s childhood, the killings were described as brutal and animalistic, with victims being torn apart. In contrast, the later seasons show the monsters being more calculated, opening their victims through the ribcages in a more ritualistic manner. This could suggest that the monsters are either becoming more sophisticated in their methods or that they follow some sort of progression in how they choose to "hunt" their victims.
@@TimTimmay idk if this is relevant but when they opened up the creature and found they have completely shriveled organs, no blood, I thought maybe that's why they take the guts our of their victims.

@beewest5704 I agree. An early big reveal will ruin a show. I was 18 when twin peaks premiered. The reveal of the killer was a Shotgun blast to the face of that show.

First theory - I was thinking, what if the real world effects "From town". At the end of this video when it showed some stuff thats going to happen during this season you see paintings of the mysterious children in from town. In this video it was thorised that the dad could see visons of the children and then paints the children. But what if its the other way around? What if paintsing and drawings introduce stuff to "From town"? The intro shows paintings of monsters and events which has happend/ will happen on the show. But what if these monsters only came about because someone (e.g. a child) decided to draw some scary images/ their nightmares and it conjured the monsters into "From town". Some characters have been shown in the show to see the future and somewhat recognise the town before even entering it. But what if the reason they recognise the town is because they seen drawings of the the town in the real world, and the drawings conjured up "from town". The next thing im going to say has less probably going for it than what I talked about above, but if it does turn out that images effect "From town" then what if photos can too. People used to think that photos steal people's souls, what if having a photo of a person and placing it with "from town" pictures transport people to the town? (I think that second part is unlikely but it was an idea I had that I was thinking about). Second theory - in the upcoming episodes you see a bottle tree in the real world. I wonder if the bottle tree could be used to send stuff between worlds.
Hearing Mrs.Chen scream and cry, while Boyd tells she's strong and trying to calm her down, was brutal. I hope she survived. HOW?? I don't know. She's too good and pure to die, much less like that😢
Just seems like the monsters rely on taunting people more than eating them. Like their whole purpose is to scare them and break them, rather than eating their insides to survive. They were so determined to diminish Boyed'd hope. Also his dead wife wanted to do the same. Hope is the answer to freedom. Tabitha left due to hope that she can save her daughter
I think victor is the entity and the force in charge of this place, he knows it all and he does not even remember why or how he created this place that is why he keeps drawing trying to track his steps to understand himself and maybe have a way out cause he is not an evil person, but he is all knowing and I’m pissed how no one pays him much attention! Victor is the key
A lot of people think this but his mom is the one who started seeing the place in her dreams first. After the mom and dad took acid together the mom started having these visions. I guess that could be because of Victor but then what would be the "power" behind it? What could possibly be making it all possible? Why are the monsters dressed like they are from the 50's? The town itself looks like a 50's era town too. The doowop diner, the furniture and electronics in the houses! The phones, lamps, curtains, appliances, etc. He arrived there in what? The late 70's, early 80's? His clothing and lunchbox were late 70's style. He was wearing Chuck Taylor's as a kid 😂 did he like 50's citcoms?? U would think a 70's or 80's kid would be imagining something more his era.
Why didn’t Victor tell Jim Tabitha went in the bottle tree?! So they went of a half quest and could have just lead Jim and Kenny to the bottle tree! 🤦🏽♀️
Im mad that as long as everyone has been there they dont have weekly or daily meetings and compare notes. How are this many people stuck together and not sharing information with each other to find a way home?!?
It is difficult for the writer to write a successful movie if he makes the participants in the story of that movie as intelligent as humans in reality. Therefore, in most movies and stories, the participants are stupid so that the writer can present the events or make the story longer. Or the writer can make the participants as intelligent as humans, but this will make him either make the events of the movie very difficult or make the events of the movie very short. You can notice what I said very strongly in zombie movies where all zombie movies skip how zombies spread or provide a completely unconvincing introduction to how a disease like zombie disease spread because they really can't write a realistic scenario in which a disease like that disease could spread so they always skip that part

Jim making Kenny leave town just to realize he shouldn’t have left was such a asshole move, instead of his kids losing both parents Kenny has 😓
Kenny volunteered though.

There’s a connection when boyd was talking to ethan about alma his friend goat. @@rachedatindali439 yeah, poor kenny 😭
that's a really good spot, didn't even think about these interactions

My guess is victors dad was perhaps blamed for his family’s disappearance. I’m thinking he thought Tabitha was a reporter or detective or something.
Yeah this makes sense based on his reaction seeing her
Your theory about Victor’s father being blamed for his family’s disappearance is compelling and fits well with the atmosphere of suspicion and paranoia in From.
His reaction to her presence could suggest that he’s still haunted by the events and wary of anyone probing into his family’s tragic history(
The show often plays with misdirection and psychological tension, and this angle would add another layer to the unresolved trauma within Victor’s family, which could tie into larger mysteries about the town and its supernatural forces. If Victor’s father was falsely blamed, it would add another tragic note to the story, making his possible isolation even more heartbreaking.
I agree. I thought he mistook her for a reporter when I watched it.
@@MichaelSmith-lm5slWas this written by ChaTGPT?
So my theory is that they let Boyd live for the same reason victor is the way he is and survived so long, they even tell us with "we won't kill you, we want you broken".

For instance, Marielle mentions that Kristie had been missing for months when she arrived in the town, which matches up with Kristie’s experience inside Fromville, confirming that time is consistent across both realms(
Den of Geek
Victor, who arrived in the 1970s and is now in his late 50s, also supports this theory. His age and timeline are consistent with the real world’s passage of time, further implying that there is no temporal distortion. However, what is unique is the town’s state of perpetual summer, as noted by Victor. This seems to suggest that while time moves forward normally, the town’s environment evolves independently, possibly as a mechanism tied to the supernatural forces at play
The changing seasons or lack thereof reflect less about the passage of time and more about how the town itself manipulates or responds to its inhabitants. This could be a way to psychologically disorient the residents while keeping them physically in sync with the outside world.

I think she's not a demon but instead more of a foil to victor she too was here when she was younger maybe even grew up here but unlike Victor who sort of numb to hope and shit tillie went completely off the rails probably became a serial killer or something
Yayyy!! So glad you're doing breakdowns for this amazing show!
The address being in the lunch box is what transported here to victors hometown
Ahhh, that's a very interesting idea. Maybe they could learn to harness the Far Away Trees by simply writing down an address/name/description of a place and walking into the tree with that note in your hand.
@@Soldier0fOblivion I dunno I mean hasn't Victor gone through Far Away Trees holding his lunchbox before?
@@mullen1116 good point
If that was the case then she would’ve gone straight to Victor’s house/hometown and not have to be thrown out the tower to get there. I’m just wondering why Victor isn’t directing Jim to the bottles faraway tree where Taby went because apparently only that tree leads to the ‘tower with the children’, whereas the other faraway trees can take you anywhere.
@@mullen1116 but she didn’t get there with the tree, she only got to the lighthouse with the tree

Tabitha just entered level 2 of simulation. Simple😂

That would be crazy😂

What's wild is that this idea is still on the table and can't necessarily be ruled out.
Since the start of this show, there literally hasn't been one answer to one question that has been raised. If it wasn't for my wife wanting me to watch it with her, I would have bailed long ago. You've got to feed the viewer one in awhile.
It’s from the writers of lost. Pretty much that experience all over again.
the people behind it are saying we'll get some concrete answers to a bunch of questions this season, really hope thats true and that this isnt one of those 16 season type of shows where it gets insanely complicated
@@dannydishes i love mystery shows , this show is slow but it has ton of mystery , and dont worry man they mentioned there would be 4 or 5 season of from .

@fredrickfalana328 this is the best from theory I've read
Tian-Chen is most likely dead unfortunately those screams sound like they ripped her apart or something it was pretty eerie honestly
Shes dead, i saw boyd carrying her body after the aftermath
Boyd smashing the music box was a verse in the song. The last part of the song said, "Unless you can stop the melody."
Yep his son is so poorly written and barely of any use. NOT TO FORGET, he's always getting injured or manhandled, like the time he got stabbed

I agree, Tilly is hella weird and seems to be way too chill about this whole situation. She gives off weird vibes. Something about her is wrong.
It's supposed to pick up right where season 2 left off which works for everyone of the grown actors but you can really see the year of aging in the little boy who plays Ethan he looks way older than he did in season 2
Yes, I hope they kill off that character, goddamnit I hate that kid, and this episode made me hate him even more. lmao
Boyd’s poor shoulder will never fully heal
lol i think he is more worried about his life than his shoulder .
For carrying the goddamn series! And the whole town too 😂

Fuck Boyd. At this point all these characters deserve this shit with their lack of critical thinking in any way or shape. The writers are ridiculous
I do not trust Tilly either. She is the only resident who seems to enjoy being stranded there and she does not seem to be afraid of the monsters
It feels like the writers took the season 2 criticisms to heart and went back to the more simplistic formula of season 1. Thank God. Maybe there’s still hope for this show after all, and when it’s all over we’ll just remember season 2 as that weird, inert aberration.
Man the ending was extremely sad 😢
Good observation on the credits regarding the Kimono woman. I hope each episode gives us some answers because all these unanswered questions are killing me lol
True they are going to lose us & end up like Lost. 😢
At this point, the scariest thing will be if they cancel this show. I hope they make a lot of money and people share and talk about FROM more.
kenny's going to feel so guilty next week. :(
Since the monsters don't kill for substance, I take it to mean they kill just to terrorize. Just as they didn't kill Boyd, don't think they would kill everyone if they went out to the middle of town at night. The monsters or the Town "Higher Power" needs some people to be living for it's existence. I really can't wait to find out how people are selected to end up in the town.
Aye man it's been 2 seasons, they need to start giving us answers.
that’s kinda how i feel at this point
💯💯
They just blend up other shows scene and put up in front of us they don't realy have any plot like dark or other one
So they just streching it without any reason to keep the process alive so they feed their family
Have you seen the show lost? Yah we ain't getting answers for awhile
@@PrashantYadav-e5p Lol I swear this better not be true
P.S. The father’s expression when he sees the lunchbox is one of terror, not amazement.
....no
I mean yeah why would he be amazed that a random lady has his sons lunchbox who has been missing for over 40+ years
Interesting theory

i think Tabitha is coming back to From town with a police officer in that ambulance. maybe Henry will be with them.
That would be foolish of her though. Police to do what? Arrest demons?

I believe the main theme of this show is good vs evil, light vs dark. The Boy in white reminds me of Jacob from Lost. The main villain or entity that we have yet to be introduced to controls the monsters, most likely that red demon we saw on the cave drawings. This entity can also take the form of dead people , similar to the smoke monster on Lost
IDK why From is more confusing than Lost!

I would assume Victor is in his 50s as there’s no way his father is any older than early to mid 70s
Oh man after seeing them torture tien-Chan, it would be vampire rules when morning comes. We going in there cave everyday till we find a way to kill them.

@@DiegoNewplanshadow1999 they aren’t wendigo’s unfortunately. Wendigo have to consume flesh to survive. These monsters don’t even eat. Probably closer to seelie(Scottish folklore ) dark fairies
I’m pretty sure we learned time in fromville and the real world is the same in season 2 when Marielle told Kristi it had been 6 months since she went missing
The monsters are definitely playing on the conversations heard. I also think some of the monsters (not yet transformed) are hiding* in plain sight. Hence the nightmare/dream Elgin had and upon awakening saw that evil Fatima nor the (Tilly-lady*) next to him was there.
i love how jade went from this was all a game to i will figure a way out with science to growing a bread on the floor losing his shit
Episode 1 was brutal as PHUCCC!!!!
The true meaning of horror is helplessly watching bad shyte happen and you can do nothing about it.
I think the pictures in the basement are from victors sister. Victor found his mums body but not his sisters so she probably made it out and got home. Probably drawing what she saw in the town and everyone thinks she's crazy so she might be in a mental hospital somewhere.
I like this theory
Thank you no one ever showed or explained what happened to his sister 🥹
That would be so exciting if she knew how to get out if Fromville.
I’m so happy to see this review
I love your From videos. I actually was thinking that maybe Eloise is the one who did all the paintings. Can't wait to see what happens next
Kenny can’t catch a fucking break 😪
I feel like they need to stop keeping secrets from the rest of the town. They might have got their ish together if they all had the information.
They could attack the monsters in their weakest state. While they're sleeping in the cave.
yeah but we now know they listen to conversations and they actually can wake up even when they are sleeping so ...
This is the part that pisses me off. Why are they not acting like "humans", even after seeing that they can actually kill these things? Humans would definitely invade their sleeping den and lay waste to every one of them and one problem solved.
They can Actually kill them "with the Fvcking worms only"....
But how would they kill them? The bullets dipped in the bile from the monster they killed didn't work, and they don't know of another way to harm the monsters other than when Boyd transferred his blood to Smiley.
@@ugochukwuezenwankwo7151 how the Fvck Will the Humans kill them?
Nobody talks about Martin (the hanged man) is the same priest who met Tabatha in church! Same actor

Victor looks older than his dad 😅 maybe the pictures in the basement are from the Far Away trees painted by Victor? What ever the case I love this show!
I mean he’s grew up in literal hell😅 why would he look healthy and young
@janaeand1607 that's true. Plus he only eats can peaches 🍑 But they could have used an older actor to play the father.
growing up with that much stress and being generally malnourished and just overall not taking great care of himself absolutely ages him quickly, but also the place could be aging people faster but time moves the same (this might explain Boyd's parkinsons acting up a little sooner than it should and Kennys dad getting dementia so quickly, this will be confirmed or denied probably by how fast fatimas baby develops, given that its not a demon baby), super excited about the next episode!

Puke in your own bedroom girl and leave out the bathroom
Thank God was waiting for you
I wouldn't be surprised if current residents have family connections to the town.
Goddamn, keen eyes
@@MichaelSmith-lm5sl Yea, it’s like they don’t want the meat, they just want the organs
Boyd or someone said toward the end of season 1 they never used to talk until the townspeople found out about the talismans, that's another change.

She's too good and pure to die, much less like that😢
Love this show, season two was weird but so far season three has rescued it
Just seems like the monsters rely on taunting people more than eating them. Like their whole purpose is to scare them and break them, rather than eating their insides to survive. They were so determined to diminish Boyed'd hope. Also his dead wife wanted to do the same. Hope is the answer to freedom. Tabitha left due to hope that she can save her daughter
The Kimono women could be haunting Fatima because she's wearing her old clothes. Maybe burning the Kimono could solve the problem.
It's not the same piece of clothing. Fatima is wearing a flowered shirt. The ghost woman is wearing a full length kimono.
Great breakdown. 💪🏾 great start to the season as well.
I was eagerly anticipating your breakdown

i dont think it would have mattered much. they still would have ended up in that spot for story progression
