one excellent video of what you do best. the Lord had a surprise for you. I am going to leave you a marble collection in my will. if you get it is beyond my Control. my dirt digging days are over. age has told on me. I truly enjoy your enthusiasm for what you are doing. I never got rich at diggin, but the anticipation of what is in the hole is worth the dig. God bless you young man.
LOL! Nugget, I have that EXACT Good Luck token, I got mine from the old Hill-Billy Village in Pigeon Forge, TN passing through on vaction when I was a kid. There was a vending machine that stamped raised letters around the outside ring. I think the year was 1968. I wouldn't sell mine for a hundred dollars. :-)
I would suggest there was a blacksmiths forge or farriers forge there and the old shoes were just tossed into a pile when pulled off. My friend who is a farrier did this. Likely the land scraping moved them all over the field.
77 horse shoes and a good luck token plus other goodies! What a fantastic day Michael. Take care my friend, good luck 🍀and happy hunting Mary-Ellen UK. God bless you. 👍☺🙋
that cow was so cute it wanted to play love that part in this video so cute and that marble was nice that takes me back to my child hood i use to collect them i wouldnt mind start collecting them again if i had the room for them
Back in 1974 for my 10th birthday we went to Disneyland and there was one of those Good Luck token machines. You were able to choose what you wanted it to say by picking a letter/number on the dial and pull a lever. It would then stamp whatever you chose. Probably made of aluminum. Yours looks exactly like what I had.
Wow ! That good luck charm you found brought back memories. My Mom got us all one in the late sixties. One of the holes is bigger. That is where a 3" snap chain went thorough it. I had our house key on mine. And I thought mine said good luck mike on it. So there might be a name on that one.
Seeing the trash you picked up it all makes sense now. Farrier worked there and when he pulled off the old shoes, he would toss them aside in the field. He also tossed a broken hammer and broken files.
Thank you NN for another Awesome video... Loved the Horse shoes..really Cool... and the Marbles are neat as Always. Thank you for Sharing, and God Bless....
I remember back in 1963 when my best pal Opie Taylor lost that cap gun and those blue marbles on the same day. We hunted all over but never could find them and when it started to get dark Opie's Aunt Bea called us in for fried chicken dinner.
Nugget, did you ever hear of the English nobleman who had his guests nail a horseshoe to his front gate, or door? It got to the point where they would have a special shoes made for the occasion, with their own "colors" or heraldic design incorporated.I have seen pictures. Hundreds of horseshoes.
My old house in Easter Oregon was at one time, around the turn of the century, the livery for the town, even after 30 years we still find horse shoes , usually with the mower though .
Great video. The horse shoe-er guy was a Farrier. Farrier is the term for a horse shoe-er guy. They trim the horses toe nails and file them to shape. Then fit the horse shoe.
Another great video.Sure glad that you explained WHY there were so many horseshoes.Boy Was I curious!I had to LOL when you said can never have too many rocks. I sometimes just can't help but bring some home . I don't even know how many I have nor why they fascinate me
you have the sharpest vision of anyone I've ever seen. I can barely make out half the stuff you're pointing at until you're right on top of it with the camera. awesome finds by the way
i was real big in toy guns as young boy i watched alot cowboy shows wanted to be like them lol banaza gun smoke shows i grew up on in the 70;s miss those times so much i loved how people was more nicer back then to people act strange now
Aluminum Horse Shoes are off a Race Horse, who knows if the horse was famous!!! They all wore those for the big races, but aluminum was rare at one time back in the day!!! ;-) Good Luck & God Bless You Too!!! I'm getting something Garett, but been looking for a deal, anyone out there want to unload a Garrett MD??? Love the Videos Nuggetnoggin1!! Thanks for sharing your adventures with this "Ole Man"!!!
That good luck token could be from the mid fifties to sixties. I knew when you dug it out it looked really familiar. I also put mine on a key chain. Just can't remember where they were sold. My ancient brain archive seems to be pinging on some sorta of vending machine.
Maybe the people that lived at the vacant lot, one of the guys was a fairer. I like when the silver coins pop up. They always look shine and clean. Thanks Nugget for another awesome video.
As soon I saw all those horse shoes, I figured there must've been a ferrier there at one time. Explains all the files and tools. It would be kool if the anvil was buried out there somewhere. ;)
you should invest in a forge or make one to melt down all that scrap iron you have! you could make stepping stones or turn it all into somthing useful!! have a nice day!
hey, I just had a thought about those horseshoes. My family, at least the older people in my family, loved playing horseshoes at our family reunions. I wonder if that was a game set of horseshoes
That piece of scrap iron you didn't pick up looked like a farrier's rasp, I wouldn't be surprised if in that area horses were being shod before they tore down whatever was there. ETA: I commented before the video was over, since you eventually said that a farrier lived there.
great video. will you make a new video of your relic collections soon? it was your way of detecting that made me start this hobby. thankyou for sharing with us.
I have one of those good luck tokens from my grandpa, it says his name and Nashville Tenn. And the date 1952. it also has an American flag on the front and it says good luck with a picture of a horseshoe on the back. I am pretty sure they were customizable because each letter looks separate from another in each word, its kinda hard to explain.
Been watching your videos awhile-always enjoyable. That Liberty half is sweet. Just curious as to what you do with stuff like modern horseshoes, files, plow points, and the like.
I tell you what I wish I knew were you found all them horse shoes, I have been trying to get my hands on horse shoes for a while LOL. I have 3 projects I want to do with horse shoes, but I don't have the shoes!
David Henninger now that's an idea! Real big one, hang it from a sturdy tree. I think I tried that once with my shoes, didn't work out though. Feet were cold and sore, rubber didn't really make much sound, and the neighbors complained about the smell...
Hey I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I can't get enough, I'm a black smith out of Southeast arkansas and I make knives out of everything and I was wondering if you would be interested in a knife made from a horse shoe?
I love how excited he get about finding a marble.makes me think about enjoying the little things in life.
I think finding the horse shoes and also the lucky tokens is God's way of saying that you are at a great place in your life right now. God bless you!
Higher probability was that horses were previously kept there.
Wendy Taylor universe works with higher power to give us signs... Mother Earth and father heaven

It was either a horse burial ground or the scene of the last World Horseshoes Game Championship. What a crazy find.
You need to go buy yourself a lottery ticket...good luck token, 77 horseshoes, a nice walking liberty...lookin' pretty lucky there!
Love the video thanks for making it, and the many others. We always look forward for a new one.
Great video. The horse shoe-er guy was a Farrier. Farrier is the term for a horse shoe-er guy. They trim the horses toe nails and file them to shape. Then fit the horse shoe.
Enjoyed the video as always. I guess that ferrier just tossed old shoes out in the yard.
Love your videos! So enthusiastic about the hobby of recovering history! We need to go dirt/creek fishing!

If you hang them right, you'll have a ton of luck. Great video.

Awesome video and finds! The Walking Liberty is my favorite coin. I call it my Angel coin! ❤
Maybe the people that lived at the vacant lot, one of the guys was a fairer. I like when the silver coins pop up. They always look shine and clean.

God lead you to that good luck token then showed you all those horse shoes that symbolize good luck! I love it! God it SO GREAT
Something tells me that you are in for a long string of good luck! Great video!
You can probably make some really cool art out of all those horse shoes!
What do you do with all the scrap metal?
That piece of scrap iron you didn't pick up looked like a farrier's rasp, I wouldn't be surprised if in that area horses were being shod before they tore down whatever was there. ETA: I commented before the video was over, since you eventually said that a farrier lived there.
great video. will you make a new video of your relic collections soon? it was your way of detecting that made me start this hobby. thankyou for sharing with us.
Good luck tokens and gobs of horse shoes? Sounds like a lucky day to me!
nice finds there and great condition on the shoes.Could make some nice things out of those!
77 - God's number doubled - great finds. Nice shed, too.
as always great video . God bless and praying god keeps you safe in your travels
I like finding just about anything but I don't think I get half as excited about scrap metal as nugget does.
I had one of those lucky charms when I was a kid. I think it came in a cereal box ... probably Lucky Charms! :-)
What do you do with all this stuff? Do you scrap it?
Great hunt!! Thanks for sharing!
I've got a few tokens at my job. Damn affirmative action.
Now what. Electrolysis and waxing ? That seems like a lot of work for 77 horse shoes, which you'll be hauling around when ever you move.
Well between that Good Luck Charm and all those Gorse shoes you might think about buying a Lottery Ticket, ha!
I have one of those good luck tokens from my grandpa, it says his name and Nashville Tenn. And the date 1952. it also has an American flag on the front and it says good luck with a picture of a horseshoe on the back. I am pretty sure they were customizable because each letter looks separate from another in each word, its kinda hard to explain.
your videos keep getting better
Been watching for quite awhile now....would really like to hear the sounds your detector is making.
Been watching your videos awhile-always enjoyable. That Liberty half is sweet. Just curious as to what you do with stuff like modern horseshoes, files, plow points, and the like.
great video nugget. hope to see you diggin texas
It's almost like someone sowed the field with horse shoes to eventually increase the iron content of the soil?
Did you miss an arrowhead at 3:40 when you found the good luck token? I swear it looks like one, to the right of the token.
I tell you what I wish I knew were you found all them horse shoes, I have been trying to get my hands on horse shoes for a while LOL. I have 3 projects I want to do with horse shoes, but I don't have the shoes!
Wow! Great video. Love them all!
Crazy amount of horseshoes
horseshoe windchimes???
David Henninger now that's an idea! Real big one, hang it from a sturdy tree.
I think I tried that once with my shoes, didn't work out though.
Feet were cold and sore, rubber didn't really make much sound, and the neighbors complained about the smell...
hola desde chile gracias por la palabra de Dios
its gonna be a good day when ya find a shed..FYI Farrier=shoe maestro..you probably knew that but for those who didnt....
How do you find out if there was a old house on the land or do you just know it?
I really enjoy your videos, they're very interesting. You must work very hard on your videos. I have always wanted to do stuff like that.
+Maia Allen Thank you very much! . Put your mind to it and you can do anything, Lord willing.
Thank you for watching.
Michael
So now I'm wondering; so far in your career, have you found more horse shoes or axe heads?
FYI - one who shoes horses is called a Farrier
Hey I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I can't get enough, I'm a black smith out of Southeast arkansas and I make knives out of everything and I was wondering if you would be interested in a knife made from a horse shoe?
