- Had an awesome day digging up in Vermont, I found lots of old coins and a colonial shoe buckle metal detecting. I also did some exploring and discovered two old grave stones in the woods, they could be from animals or possibly humans, both are unmarked. I will have another video out from this trip next week.

About Nugget Noggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things
with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years
old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've
been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You
may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down
in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try
my best to keep you entertained.

I really like the scripture verses you begin and end your videos with, sometimes they say exactly what I needed to hear from God. Rather like those Sundays when you may not feel like going to church but you force yourself to go anyway and it seems like the sermon was written just for you about your current situation and encourages you to persevere.
A DELIGHT TO TRAVEL WITH YOU, REALLY ENJOYED YOUR FINDS.
I CAN CALL YOU BROTHER, WE LOVE THE LORD.
CAMILLE AUSTRALIA
I have seen many videos of metal detecting and I just have to say, by far, yours is the very best ! Clear videos, interesting subjects, Great narration , and then you show what you have found for the day and also tell what they are ! I want to come with you ! Never been to a place like that before and have never metal detected . You ought to be a History Teacher
Just got back from the National Day of Prayer event in our town. Port St. Lucie Florida , thousands of people praying and praising the Lord. What a night. I am buzzing still. Great video
I have to thank you for your one of a kind videos, and your pure heart. Your parents must be so proud! Keep up the great videos!!! See ya next time!
im always happy when Nuggetnoggin puts a new video out
Funky Monkey it's funny I used to watch him all the time.... U till I didn't have much time and didn't get notifications...... Bit i started watching aquachigger...... Then one day me daughter (10) turned round and described nugget and says she watches his videos...... Lol how cool is she??? Now we watch em together
Love your videos Nuggetnoggin! Make my heart happy that you start your videos with scripture! Happy hunting !
My favorite channel by far! So glad I rediscovered your channel after a couple years.
Can’t even imagine how long some of those stone walls took to build. Love it.
We love watching your videos as a family! My four year old son really looks up to you! Whenever he finds some kind of treasure he asks “is Nugget Noggin proud of me???” We love ya! Thanks for all you do!
Such beauty we have been blessed with.
Your knowledge of the relics you find is very impressive. I would have no idea that was the tip of an old lightning rod, or the cap to an old flint pistol, or many of the other things you find. And your genuine passion for those things whether they're worth something monetarily or not always seems to be the same.
Love the channel, and even as a "non-believer" (at least not someone who regularly reads the bible), I have the utmost respect for the message you send in your videos and how you represent yourself.
Can't wait to see what you find in NH (my home state)!
I am 69 yrs old and just started watching you.I love your enthusiasm and tenacity when you are hunting for goodies.Keep on making those shows please ,you are great.
The one item you skipped over is bent...but it is a seam guide used on an old sewing machine. It would have been screwed to the bed of the machine and the fabric would have been held up against the flat edge as it sat to the right of the needle. The size of the seam would be adjusted by where you put the guide before you tightened down the thumbscrew that held it in place.
Sure is, I have five of them myself.
- love to see that stuff cleaned up , and the value *
The colonial buckle was a fantastic find!
It is so hard to find a channel that doesn’t have the most popular trends in it like fort nite or Minecraft So thank you nugget thank you your great
You'd be a brilliant teacher on American History. I've learnt so much from you about coins, well done nugget
Boy it sure is difficult finding any new videos from you. You were one of the first hunters I started watching and have enjoyed almost all of your videos. I am truly disappointed that I can't find anything from you. I had hoped when you went to diving school we would be seeing some underwater videos but was disappointed not to find anything. I loved your videos not just because you found interesting objects but because of the Bible verses you put at the beginning and ending of each video that means a lot to me.
That's a heck of a hunt noggin. Nice finds, my face literally lit up when you pulled that shoe buckle up out of the dirt, that was an awesome find.
Come to Berlin,NH. Would love to go Metal Detect with you
Those "hoses" are tubing for collecting maple sap in the spring to render into maple syrup. Real maple syrup is always made from the sap of maple trees and can sell for up to $60/gallon. The tubing is a huge labor saving method over the old spile and bucket method.
I absolutely love this guy, I've learned so much from his videos and can't wait to see what he finds next. I'm hooked!!!! I have alot of respect for his beliefs too. Keep up the good hunting man
Always fun seeing you find “coings”
When I was little I went on pretend treasure hunts and found old toys from who knows where or when. I still do find stuff. It is amazing!!
Welcome to Vermont. Must have been you that has brought in some warmer weather. I live in Fairlee, along the Connecticut River, north of Hanover, NH. Good hunting to you!
If you ever make your way back up here to the twin states, I’d be happy to show you around some of the southern areas of Vermont and New Hampshire. I’m glad you were able to make it this time. These two states only really get a bad rep, it’s not all bad, a lot of beautiful places here!
I would very happily live in that big house yoy showed us at 4:35 Sir! As for the snow in April, it must have been a bit of a shock if you have come from somewhere hot in just a few hours. It is what some of us in the North of England (UK) used to call "nithering!" We once had snow in mid May though! Haha. However as always you are never downhearted about anything at least when you are with us and you are a real spiritual blessing.
Blessings and peace as always Sir.
I'm housebound with many health problems so all I can do is travel on youtube. I am glad to find your channel because I'm a history buff to. Keep up the good work.
Yes sir always enjoy the hunt on your channel .. I have a metal detector I don’t know where to hunt . I use to have access to 42 acres and the river runs through it . My brother-n-law sold the land and my Detector isn’t water proof ..
Look Like Fun. Love The Dirt EZ Diging We Have That Old Red Clay. And Got Some Good's.
Way to go nugget. And God Bless you too.
Terrific hunt, Nugget. The cold weather up there in New England was one of the reasons I moved to Florida. All of the New England states are loaded with buried treasure. The city I'm from dates back to 1639. Great video. Hope to see more real soon.
Love that shoe buckle. One of the largest I've ever seen!
I live in vt last monday we had light snow showers and yesterday muggy hot 80s thanks for sharing your hunt nice finds i always seem to find alot of ox shoes when i go good luck on your next hunt

Hello there 😊 In the Midwest Michigan/ Ohio area we used to get all kinds of Canadian coins and places except them. You probably would find a lot here. It would be interesting to hunt in Eastern Canada. Probably there would be a lot of Indian Relics.
Balls falls in Ontario Canada has 2 ruins and has a lot of history there if u get a change u should check it out
Absolutely great video! Loved your finds! That is one great shoe buckle and flint pistol end! The scenery was beautiful too!

During WWI, in the trenches of France, some soldiers were issued Winchester Model 1897 riot shotguns. They were made with a 19-20 inch barrel, had a vented top strap over the barrel, an were equipped with a bayonet lug like a rifle. The issued ammo was the all brass shells loaded with double OO size buckshot. Paper case shells would swell when they got wet and would not chamber. At one time, I had some of the brass shells but gave them to a collector.
Hi Nugget my name is Ben I am from Jamestown N.Y. I also found a good luck token. It was made on a trolley 🚋 that ran by Chautauqua lake by midway park back in the 60s & 70s. That is a cool find along with toe others. Well until next time GL&HH. Thanks for sharing.
Love your videos I rewatch em all the time
You are such a good guy!
God Bless!
Thanks, you too!
Very cool vid. The burl on that big tree you found from one angle that you shot looks like a little lady sitting with her elbow on her leg propping up her head.
Sean Baxter what was the seconds on the video? Like to check it out.
9:39
That is crazy. Scared me when I first saw it. Wild.
Yeah yeah same here when you see it come around the tree it looks like a person sitting there
Thanks.
Nice hunt buddy, really like your videos and your faith in God. I'm 62 and Know with all my heart that God is the first thought of every new day! May you continue your guest for adventure and always the thought of God in year heart! God bless my brother...

You must be a man of faith. Who else would travel so far north in the winter? You should come up when it's forty below zero. I was hoping you would find a pot of gold, or something. Better luck next time.
good luck on your up coming summer hunts ill enjoy your videos as always
Next time you visit Minnesota and are near Minneapolis come along on a hunt with me.I know some good old spots we could detect at.

Asking this question might make me appear not so smart.. but why are there always spoons?! There seems to be spoons everywhere. That buckle is amazing..wow! Good for you!
Good morning Nugget! 🌄😀👌
I've found 4 shot gun shells like that at a old stone house site by my house
Great hunt . Thank you for sharing it with us .
The sheriff's badge is from a vending machine .
You can make your own.
I found one of the machines while traveling. Printed out three badges one for myself one for each of two kids traveling on the bus . 1986 ' Sometimes see machines that crush pennies and print souvenir type theme on them. Oh and the Sailing Ship on the Canadian Dime is Still sailing !
The Famous Bluenose .
You can see it in Lunenburg Nova Scotia Canada , The eastcoast.
Cheers !

Love your episodes & love the history. Shout out from Australia.
Great video, keep em coming, stay safe and Every Blessing.
I'm from Massachusetts and the rock wall is a old farmers wall
That watch with the bear in the back was probably a child’s toy pocket watch.
Did you happen to meet Brad from Green Mountain Metal Detecting. He's a great guy and digs alot of great things in Vermont.
What. Snow? At first I thought that was a special effect

The ship on the Canadian dime was called the Bluenose, very famous in it's time.
Let me know if you get near Newtown CT. My sister house was built when George Washington was President!. It was at one time a hat store!
