I’m sure the engine upgrade will be a really interesting as a new project. And will come with lots more issues and fun to watch your skills working them out lol. Keep up the good work Paul
The 2.5 conversion would definitely be worth doing.....for the great content for us lot....and because you love that car and have become attached to it.
Hi Paul, great video, the exhaust set up for the GTE will be brilliant.as for the TT I would try to keep the car original as possible.but if the swop can be done its a idea.
Would be awesome to see a 2.5 conversion in the TT Paul. Like you said it would be very rare and I have never seen any UA-cam video of anyone attempting it. Would be really interesting and its a brilliant engine and an awesome Winter project.
Great video Paul. Can’t believe they garage wanted to changed you £260 for that bit of work. Wow. Looking the idea of both winter projects. Do both. Will be good for the channel.
Welcome back Paul. Once again a 2.5 conversion sounds interesting if you decide to do so... I'm thinking double exhaust system on the TT well whatever you do should be a great watch. See you next Monday mate.
What ekse would you do to the TT if you are going to keep it? Also wonder whether you are still planning on turning your garage into a workshop; haven't heard anything on that for a long time... Good luck with whatever you decide!
Hi , Paul. I'd leave the car, as is. Swapping the engine will be a long and, I'm quite sure, laborious job, with many hurdles to overcome that will be lurking in the background, waiting, like a beast cornering its prey, swallowing up oodles of time. That time, in my opinion, could be better spent on other projects. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you "good luck." ,
If it was me I'd do neither of those. The 2.5 conversion sounds like a money pit and the Porsche Cayman is UGLY!! How about a BMW M3? There are some great mods for it and you could tune it up nicely. I'm guessing it'd be tough for an Audi lover like yourself though 😉
Had the same on my m/cycle tail tidy £180 pounds to fit wow settled down 4 hours later had done it myself wiring as well which I had never done 😀
I’ll always believe labour and skill is worth more than most think

RS conversion would be a big shout from me 👌👌👌

If you’re keeping the TT then it’s worth doing. If not keep it standard Easier to sell on. 👍🇬🇧
Watch the k&n doesn’t mess with your maf.
Top bloke
Money money it seems to flow very easily, like others have said its only worth doing if your going to keep the TT long term Paul.
What ekse would you do to the TT if you are going to keep it?

Hi Paul companys like make money bit of. A con all the best to you and your family :-)
The 2.5 conversion sounds more interesting compared to the Cayman in my opinion

porsche vids would be cool!
When you going to do a video about the gte dsg service because I can't seem to find any videos on how to. It will give you lots of views.
I will do one shortly
Hello mate 😁
Why did you not buy a gti rear diffuser as they have a single exit each side ?
Can you not plug the TT into a scanner to find the miss fire. Seems a bit drastic to put in another engine.
The scanner isnt showing anything, plus the 2.5 isnt just because the old engine is lumpy, its for the power and challenge.
Keep the TT as is much better than pulling it about 🚙
2.5 over the cayman all day long bruv! 💯
Big is better
Caymen so last year lol.
both would be great projects
Like
You wrong the VW golf GTElectric
If you like the TT, why change it, leave it standard and reliable. If wanted a car with an RS3 engine in it, I'd buy an RS3...
Robbing twa*s

Leave the mk1 original with original engine
