Xiaomi cars are crashing in bulk in china due to the brake failures and very poor plastic build (google it) where the front of the car can literally bounce due to it being soft material.
Xiaomi should stick to phones as cars are totally different beast to produce and not cutting corners just to show a pretty pie but nasty tasting.

That is not brake failure. The pad is not designed for track. So it worned out on track. Thats all. If you want to use it on track you can buy track pad.

@@Bilobatelamb Not a case of better brakes. They need to balance out brake noise and performance. Better brake pads that can handle track driving == squeeky and noisy braking, which would piss off a lot more people. If you want to drive a car on a track, you should upgrade to ceramic brake pads, that's the case with every car except hypercars for $150,000+.

Eroding seat leather and the compromises xaoimi done is evident in the videos. Yes it's their first product, but the first impression is the best impression. Don't even start with the stability control. This is not a phone.lives of people matter. Releasing a car which is unstable is as alarming as Tesla cybertruck accelerator pedal going stuck. And it isnt a mobile to just experiment and tell next year we will come with better product and people who buy car won't upgrade every year smh
