I used to come home from school, pop this CD in and play my Sega Saturn while my bird Frenchy sat on my shoulder watching me play Tomb Raider. I fucking miss the 90s.
Dave in the early noughties was so RAD. Camo shorts, motorhead t shirt, sideburns, and that superb gibson explorer. To hear this beaut of a song is awesome as well, off the first ever foos album!
Some people would use a time machine to see themselves in the future or just to make money. I would use it to see all the shows I missed of my favorites bands.
@@lolmanittakesguts I miss it too. But also liked how he turned out to be, himself and the band as a whole. Plus he's getting old, those fuckers just think he'll be 18-nirvana forever. Suck it.
I'm exactly the same. I love Dave here and the groove he's got going with Taylor in this vid is so fkn cool. If you're a little bit like me you'll dig their "All My Life" song too. That tune when it builds and Dave starts smashing that riff 3/4 of the way through the song. That's the shit
This was my first Big Day Out. Mad lineup! Was bloody hot too! Fooies, NIN and RHCP were wicked! Great song, i got this on VHS at home. Good upload dude, cheers!!
I've been looking for a bunch of their lives and this is one of their best one imo. Energy, harmonies, songs, sound, (not the recording) David voice, all is here
Best live version of this song. I love that solo interlude and the Van Halen riff to Ain't Talking About love was a nice homage to the original rock pioneers and trailblazers.
I love Dave Grohl so Fkn much, he is so genuine and so nice to his fans. He is a funny guy and very talented in so many ways. He was the best drummer in the world with the nirvana. But now Taylor is. He has written so many great songs and he is a great guitar player. I love that he keeps the rock n roll alive. I’m really happy for that! Their music is very modern and is so fab great. I want rock never to die!!! Don’t let rap and dj music kill the real music of rock and roll. Thanks grohl for being so fkn awsome
@eternalrhythmflow a month ago, i found this video on youtube, loved the jam in the middle and the van halen riff, but then the video disappeared, but now it's back, thank god for it!
amazing chemistry between dave and taylor,, they both know what their guna and when. as someone who's not played in many bands i've never understood how musicians do that..is that feel on the spot or loads of practice?
Trystan Davies I've been playing with the same drummer since we were 13 (we're 19 now) and we have that chemistry where we know exactly what each other will do. He's a drummer and I've switched between guitar and bass often and It's not something musicians get instantly. Gotta be worked for.
The Interview was with Dave saying Kurt would have probably liked to turn that song (that Dave wrote) into a Nirvana song but Dave had a feeling Kurt would have wanted to change the lyrics but didn't want to ask.
hmmm, anyone else interested in how it is only the crowd at the front (first 15 rows or so) who are bouncing? Being close to the stage has its advantages if you want to really feel the music.
For also being a good drummer and vocalist you have to admit Dave is a stellar rhythm guitarist!
Esp when its not plugged in
@@markdoyle2880 he's playing with a wireless receiver, that's how he can keep playing whilst running around
@@Kimonodawg that's totally not what he ment lmao
🤣🧂
Cause he’s a drummer😂
Having 2 great drummer in 1 band is crazy
For realllll
Your pfp looks like the "There is Nothing Left to Lose" Album cover lol
“Stranger Things Have Happened “ 😂
this is the real foo fighters sound
Still alive 11ys later?
@@anthonyfuqua6988 nope
@terg8472 Alone+Easy Target and the Colour and the Shape are really the only Foo albums I like. The first two.
@@anthonyfuqua6988me too but how does that relate to anything i’ve said
@@terg8472 Didn't know I had to relate to you
One of my favourite versions of alone + easy target RIP Taylor :((((((
I used to come home from school, pop this CD in and play my Sega Saturn while my bird Frenchy sat on my shoulder watching me play Tomb Raider. I fucking miss the 90s.
Good times growing up in the 90's as a kid in a completely different world from today
These boys were rocking whilst I was swimming around in my dads ball bag
hahaha good one
lol I was thinking the same thing
Same I popped out a year later
Old Burjo me asf🤣
Haha 😂😂😂
Fuck, I was at this concert, I feel old now 😂😂
5:50 always love this bromance moment between Dave and Taylor jamming “Ain’t Talkin Bout Love” by Van Halen damn I miss seeing this friendship :(
Dave in the early noughties was so RAD. Camo shorts, motorhead t shirt, sideburns, and that superb gibson explorer.
To hear this beaut of a song is awesome as well, off the first ever foos album!
This is friggin awesome. If they DIDN'T rehearse that breakdown, then good lord I don't know what to think.
I don’t think they did, you can see the eye roll that Taylor gives when Dave starts playing the Ain’t Talkin About Love riff again lol
One of the most "nirvanic" songs of FF.
'ill stick around' is good as well
Kurt wanted to put it on 'In Utero' apparently.
Some people would use a time machine to see themselves in the future or just to make money. I would use it to see all the shows I missed of my favorites bands.
Omg me too!!! 😍
I miss that punk version of Dave.
OtavioFesoares I mean it’s never died. His music just kind of evolved into more hard rock - pop rock.
@@lolmanittakesguts Nah, it died when he started trying to stay relevant on radio.
@@lolmanittakesguts I miss it too. But also liked how he turned out to be, himself and the band as a whole. Plus he's getting old, those fuckers just think he'll be 18-nirvana forever. Suck it.
Is this punk???
Who doesn't
Im 39 and i still love the Foo Fighters and listen to them on a regular basis..
57. Same
Dave plays Nirvana's "Swap Meet" at 4:10
the live sound on this is amazing, sounds massive
I'm not really a massive fan of the foo fighters but I still watch this video with alarming regularity, I wish everything in life was this good!

I've been looking for a bunch of their lives and this is one of their best one imo. Energy, harmonies, songs, sound, (not the recording) David voice, all is here
I love their first record ALL DAVE!! Best part is when they segue into "Ain't Talkin 'bout Love" by Van Halen. LOL only Dave
Maaaaaybe the best live version on YT.
Foo Fighters paying a Van Halen song = Pure Epicness
now wolfgang van halen in foos taylor tribute concert
Wait for the eye roll from Taylor Hawkins; totally worth it.
Dave is probably the most talented musicians out there.
I have only been listening to the foo fighters for this past year. Just love them
Wish he used his explorer again.

taylor’s like “come on let’s just fucking finish this one already” 😂😂 5:49

i love young Foo Fighters!
ALWAYS love seeing Dave being Dave performing "Dave's greatest hits". rock on dude.

Kurt's favorite too fighter song. He wanted to do I something with the chorus of this song.
I was so happy when I first read that Kurt heard that song and liked it.
Sick Performance. Look at the crowd!
I think it's best performance of that song!

Once you have more experience you can do it just by feel even if it’s your first time playing with someone
5:50 taylors like "again with the Van Halen?" haha
RIP Taylor 💔🥁
Taylor's coolest kit and set up ever! Also, sounds like this could have been a Nirvana song.
Gotta love it!
They're the only band who can blend Van Halen into their song in a live jam, and make it work xD
trop bon ! trop bon ! trop bon ! Ho yeerrr baby yeerrr ....
I like that he intended for Kurt to sing this. That really would have been something.
Antológico, inesquecível.
this is great omg.
He still has it ❤
Next to Nirvana, Foo Fighters is my favorite and it's a close 2nd . Love me some Foo Fighters
Very a good sound, thx
