- I went and saw my favorite band, Foo Fighters a couple of weeks ago at the Gorge for the second time and it was killer. I don't believe in having your phone out while your at a concert so I had to rely on other people's recordings of the show to get this footage out there. Thanks to everyone else who had their phones and cameras out! Haha. I've loved Foo Fighters for years and one of my favorite songs of all time comes off their first album. It's called Alone + Easy Target and it's not played very much live anymore. When getting ready for the concert, I thought it would be fun if me and my mate made shirts before we went. On mine I wrote "Please play Alone + Easy Target for Vinny. :)" We ended up in the front row at the show so I put on a shirt I bought from a merch stand and used the shirt I made as a sort of flag to request the song. Pretty early on Dave saw the shirt, squinted and nodded. The rest was seeing if he would actually play it. Well this happened towards the end of the show, their curfew was getting close and they had to finish up. Dave points me out, plays the song and I even ended up on the jumbo tron. It was a lot of fun and hearing one of my favorite songs preformed live by my favorite band was enough to bring me near to tears. Great band, great show, great night. Can't wait until I can do it again.
Foo Fighters's debut album has no bad songs
Yeah, the FF debut album was their "Nevermind".
@@carplanetdotcom Maybe because Dave played all the instruments haha
@@carplanetdotcomI would say the colour and the shape is
Agreed
Still my favourite foo's song!
So the first song I heard by Foo Fighters was "I'll Stick Around" and I was like "Meh..it's good, but not amazing."
I was given this album by a friend who didn't want it anymore...first track, "Alone + Easy Target"....I was blown away. WHY DIDN'T THEY HAVE A VIDEO FOR THIS SONG???
Isn't the first track "this is a call" though?
@@professionalghost138 No you're right. It was the fourth track, not the first.
I stick around is increíble man
The BEST song Dave has even written!
Ye
Up there with Exhausted for sure.
Definitely hear the Nirvana influence on this one.
Exhausted, Xstatic and this one. Its the holy trinity
@@carplanetdotcom Kurt Cobain liked this song
When he comes back to my city I swear to god I’m gonna make a huge colorful sign “GIMMIE STITCHES” because that’s my fav foo fighters song and I know they hate it so much lmfao !
thanks you dude for requesting..
we all know that Dave is sporting guy.
he always respect his fans.
This is literally why Dave Grohl is my favorite musician, the foo fighters are my fav band, and why I’m playing guitar
goosebumps! So dope.. my favorite song too
RIP Taylor Hawkins...
To think how close this came to making the final Nevermind album track list 🎶 🎵 🎸
Looks like pat struggled before the break
What do you mean?
At the 4:15 mark. Wrong chord change. Not a horrible misstep but you can definitely see it on Pat’s face when he realizes it.
Heck yeah!
Dave might the coolest and down to earth rock star I ever seen. And I am 42. Love that guy😎
This is a big reason why Taylor’s untimely death has hit me so hard. Nobody deserves this tragedy less than Dave Grohl. He’s such a great dude. It’s like Tom Petty dying. Cosmic injustice. 😢
I snapped a leg at a Foo Fighters show in 1997 before it was cool!
Literally the best song ever but I’ll stick around will always be my favorite one from the first album
For mais ff old songs
I was at that show! Had an amazing time, but unfortunately I was way out in the lawn and couldn't see or smell shit from all of the pot smoke around me. Awesome footage
Wow that's so cool man! Saw the same broke leg tour. Wish they would of played this, but other than that the show was AWESOME! The best though was when they opened up for the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the Californication tour. Mind blown!
By far the best Foo album. Thanx for posting
My favorite too
I want to cry when I see Taylor . Every F’ing time time
Taylor playing sounds like a million bucks
This is one of my favorite Foos songs
I was at this show but as a stupid 5th grader who was way in the back on the top of the hill I don’t remember this and it makes me sad
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Foo's are the fucking BEST
OMG man you're so fucking lucky one, thank you for requesting the song
Use your good foot and do the bad thing
Okay can we talk about the editing on this video, it’s hilarious and so good
From the broken leg tour! He is so amazing to fans!
1994, I was 14, the song who made me buy the cd album. 42years old today, good memories :)
album came out in 1995
@@ULOVEKYLEI think the rough mix tape was released in 1994.
A great song! I read that Dave played it for Kurt and he was blown away by it!
Flu fighters
Que novela pra tocar uma música dave na época que tu Era batera do nirvana não tinha esse enredo todo
Kobain cantava a pedra e todo mundo saia tocando
E agora virou paletra
Automatic subscribe. This song RULES! 🤘🏻
My fav FF song. No question.
wow I'm so happy for you!!!! :)
This is their best song 'cause it has a Nirvana approach. I can't believe the Foo's are your favorite band. Please watch Nirvana at Leeds 10/25/90, that'll change your mind.
Top! Mudou o ritmo um pouco e a bateria e a voz. Mas 27 anos depois é bom escutar.
It's my favorite song too! 2021!!
