Great location nicely filmed. Always looks incredibly dramatic when driving down it like you are descending into the centre of the Earth almost! All the best and thanks for sharing, Paul
Not driven there for at least 20 years. When I young my dad used to take me there for a drive. He said to watch out for indians shooting arrows, I used to look out the window for them.
@@steve_grimes_photography yeah unfortunately it's one of those places you tend to avoid at weekends and Bank Holidays unless you go at the crack of dawn which is beautiful actually
I drove down Winnats Pass not long after watching "Stranger Things" - I will never know WHY ON EARTH I watched that series!! Anyway, driving down here felt as if I was disappearing into the 'upside-down' world! I felt as if I was being sucked into another dimension! I was so frightened, I did a u-turn & drove back up! Absolute chicken I was!
Should really expecting the Highways department to start opening this road up to four lanes with congestion and orange bollards everywhere for the next 6 months .I reckon
Rode my Harley down this last week and camped in Castleton. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Excellent pubs in Castleton btw.

Beats the view on my commute. The only wildlife I see are the drunks staggering across the road as I make my way home after the night shift.
Asssssssss youuuuuuu wisssssssssh!
