I typically don't leave comments, but I just need to say you are an absolute incredible human being and these tutorials are invaluable. You're helping so many people hone their craft and in turn help their businesses and the businesses of others. Thank you!!!
These tutorials are some of those rare videos which people usually search for but can't often find relevant video. Amazing tips. Thanks Unmesh on behalf of everyone
My shadow and masking game has increased ten fold because of this channel. It's amazing and so essential for improving skills in easy to follow methods. Thank you PIXimperfect.
How this quote from you is true and edifying to read: "Isn't that's what the creative community is supposed to be? We all rise by lifting others" Thank you so very much for your invaluable tutorials all along the years, always given with this full of life energy. I have discovered you 3 or 4 years ago, and always a fan!
I am not even a photographer or graphic designer and will probably never use any techniques that you show, but I still watch your tutorials because they are so relaxing and you have such a positive vibe.
Congrats! You are one of the reasons I absolutely love Indians. Great tutorials, superb technick, very articulately explained. And you have a very nice voice!
A small tip about correcting distortions. If you took the photo yourself or you know which camera and lens model was used when taking photo, its better to use automatic lens corrections. Not only it will perfectly eliminate distortions, it will also correct for vignetting and chromatic aberrations with just 3 clicks.
Absolutely the best way! I use this technique almost every day. Sometimes i make dedicated shadow template to use for a series of "same shape" products. It speeds up mu workflow.
As an architecture student this is perfect timing, I have a model of a house that I needed to edit out into a seamless background, but shadows where my bane, ty as always Unmesh 🙏
I've been using Photoshop for about 25 years and I don't usually leave comments on videos. Thank you for providing such nice tutorial videos on youtube. You are an absolutely incredible man, best wishes 👍
I Know you hear it all the time, but I just think you are Awesome!! You not only teach me your Jedi-Like knowledge, but you teach me life lessons and make me think deeper than I would have. I just want to say Happy New Year and Thank You! I pray that your new year is full of Prosperity and Peace! Cheers!!
I completely agree with Tommy Chang below! You're GREAT! And not only for PS users!!! I use GIMP+GMIC but your tips are very useful for me (and all of us). It's wonderful!
As someone starting off in product photography and retouching... i would desperately appreciate more videos on product photography editing or retouching. There are some very cool retouching tips/tricks out there that i'm sure a lot of people would enjoy. :) Im still struggling on how to use metallic looking gradients for metal and light reflections lol Your videos are always amazing and you have near single-handedly taught me Photoshop
If i had to choose one channel to subscribe to, I would definitely choose yours!! Im in food and product photography and you my friend helped me a lot so thank you so much!! Happy new year's to you all!!!
simply amazing. You are some kind of a super teacher. I love that you give a summary at the end. It helps the brain to register your tutorials even better.
You are such an incredible communicator and teacher, you have a true gift! Thank you for all you do and the continuous support for those wanting to learn... One of the best editing teachers on UA-cam

Perfect! I have to deal with it every day, this tutorial came just in time! Thanks! But I would like to know how to create product reflection on surfaces?
Wow This is such an incredible tutorial. This will and has been hugely helpful in my workflow for e-commerce photography. However, what would be a good way to expedite this process through different actions, such as if I had a batch of products to edit from a clients?
Hi Unmesh, My name is Gautam and I have been a fan of your work and have been learning a lot for a year now. I wanted to ask whether you can feather the edges of the product in the mask except blurring it using the blur tool. My thought is that it does the same thing of softening the edges so why not use feather in the mask properties. I would feel happy if you would clear my doubt in the next video. Anyways, keep up the good work. Thank You!
Was following all the way till you applied layer mask at the end! I could not apply layer mask to the object for some reason! But apart from that this video was ACE!
I come to this channel for Graphic Related knowledge but looking at your Gears surprised me. I think so you are also in Music Production you got the (HEADPHONE neumann NDH 20) AND THE 81 keys MIDI keyboard and KRK monitor speakers damn.
I like how you pointed out that the edges are out of focus and how to correct it. How would you handle it if you had to put the product on a different color background? When putting an image like this on a dark color background the image seems to have an issue of the edges being very bright… it does not blend in with a dark color background. I always have this issue… its further emphasized when I have to put it on a dark color background.
We can fix this, it is just that it will take more time. But then again, it is very doable. I think the secret is to keep the selection a little on the inside, and if that doesn't work, try halo removing techniques that we have covered in previous videos. Then, for the overall matching, a Curves will do the magic!
This is an awesome tutorial. Thank you for this video!! Question, when you noted you had a previous video on the Pen tool usage, no link appeared when I watched the video. I’ve watched the video a few extra times and still didn’t see the link to the video. Would you mind posting that link please?
