Free tip: mix the water in the spray with glycerine. Just 50/50 It will stick the water drops on the product. It's a better look and keeps you paper dry. Nice video. Thanks

Hey ! It's really amazing in the way you presenting your videos . Whenever i came to your Chanel I learnt and know about many things. I started watching your videos Very recent ❤️
I really appreciate your content and your style, and I hope you come back to making more of this great content. Very approachable, clear, good to watch. Thanks!
So my products thus far are white and then I have some rustic tin containers for my candles as well. My theme is farmhouse Rustic but I have no idea what colors to use for the photography backdrops. I don’t have any other brand colors chosen yet so do you have any suggestions as to what I could use to keep this in a shabby rustic farmhouse feel for photography?
I am coming from food photography and first time to see product photography videos I am trying to learn from you But I have q question How shooting from front and above even side front not side back And still maintain 3d dimensions
Thanks for sharing these colorful shots, Chris! I’d love to get some colored backdrops like that but budget cardboard will have to do for now😅. I also shared some product photography tips on my channel!
Chris, are you able to make a tutorial for something more rudimentary. More on the budget end? Say someone only has their phone, using smaller equipment, any recommendations for budget lights, that rod setup you're using to hang your backgrounds etc? Say under 50 bucks or so?
Chris I love your videos. Easy to understand and as someone getting started so valuable. Question. Did you use a polarized filter or nd filter here and what strobe light were you using?
hi Chris...Thanks Nice and Detailed videos on Product photography, but please let us know where from i can start first....Means Photography Tutorials, Lightroom & Photoshop Tutorials, please make a complete index structure to learn step by step ...product photography....

hi Chris, i wanted to know why should we took the shots in higher shutter speed? what's the difference does it make if we took a still product? Thanks in Advance!
Hi Alvaro, good question. If the product and tripod is still you can get away with lower shutter speeds like 1/60 or 1/125. I tend to take the camera off the tripod and move it around so I wouldn't want any camera shake to appear in the final shot
This is such a great video!! thank you so much for this! Really inspiring!! I was just wondering what size is the paper backdrops your using and where can you pick them up from? I only seem to be able to find the larger options 🤷🏼♂️
It's made by x rite. I used it a few times and now it just hangs on my wall lol. Accurate colors are important, but if you have a color accurate screen and a good eye, you're 98% of the way there.
@@ChrisPieta Hi Chris; I have a crop sensor camera, 35/50/80mm lens (al Nikon, nothing fancy among them). Would you recomend me any macro lens? I tried once a macro lens (100 or 105mm, can´t remember) and it felt super nice, but I don´t know what kind of macro should I get for my crop sensor thingy...thanks you for your videos!
It's a fine balance between angle of shooting and composition. Takes some practice. Sometimes if it's a straight on shot you can use the Transform tool in lightroom to fix irregularities.
Very nice video!!!! May I ask which Picture Profile on your Sony camera do you tend to lean more towards to shoot your projects? Your video is the only one I came across for products and it not being Canon based.
@@ChrisPieta Any chance you recall which one? My biggest concern is there is enough of the table top that the clamps hold on to since many have a metal piece on each side that almost buts up to the end of the table. Thanks!
For product photography which lens should I consider to buy… I’ve Nikon Z6ii with 24-70 F4 lens. But I’m thinking of 105 Macro S lens and also 50 1.8 S lens. Any suggestions ?
The 50 1.8 will be a great lens and is really versatile for product photography. But you also already have that focal length from your 24-70. I would look into the lens quality differences. The macro will give you more creative options
I really like your Videos and got some really nice Tips from it already . I just don't like that much how I got the feeling you "reading what you saying " ^^
For me, shadows are too big, it distract attention from topic and the blend is reflected in the can in a very ugly way. Combination of colors is really nice

a liltte tip, try using a strip box instead of an octobox, it will make the reflections look nicer to the shape of the can
Indeed! Good option
Such an amazing video. Do you have a tutorial on the hand coming out of the paper backdrop shot?
Your videos are really good, both for their content and the patient and detailed delivery 😎 thank you!
I appreciate you saying that Roxana! I'm a really detail oriented person (product photography requires it!)

Chris this video is very informative and easy to understand. Thank you so much for sharing.
I appreciate you watching!
I would like to see a Photoshop/Lightroom tutorial on how you get rid of reflections and specular highlights. Some stuff you just can’t fix in camera.
Noted! I’ll add it to my list of videos
reflections can be controlled more with a light blocker called a gobo
Hey! Thank you for the info, incredible production value btw. 🙌
Which camera would you recommend for a beginner with a tight budget?
This guy really deserves more views, likes and suscribers. Underrated one.

Good shot and really good Video, but to me the white and black Lights seems burn.
How do you get a bottle look symmetrical if it's shot a little crooked though?

26"

F/8 125s 100 iso

It's hard to recommend exact ones since everyone's needs are different. I would definitely get a light blue, white, and tan and go from there!
Very nice video!!!! May I ask which Picture Profile on your Sony camera do you tend to lean more towards to shoot your projects? Your video is the only one I came across for products and it not being Canon based.
For photos I shoot raw so profile doesn’t matter, for video it’s PP1 and then I color correct
NICE TIPS BRO
