Fantastic collection of GEC Barlows! Thanks for explaining the TC, I thought it was Tom’s Choice on all of them. Love that Oilfield Jack, gorgeous knife! Thanks for sharing!
Great bunch of knives!! I've been collecting for a few years now, but I just found your videos within the last couple months. I really enjoy them & I learn a lot from them too, so THANK YOU!!!
Great seeing all the different Barlow knives you have collected over time. I have mostly two blade ones, none are current ones with the pedagrees yours have. Thank you for showing such a fine collection to look at.🐗🙂
Thanks Gizmo! It just happens that I started with the 2 brands that do mostly single blade barlows (TEW & GEC), the older Bokers, in fact, most my vintage barlows, Case, S&M, Camillus & Schrade all are majority 2 blade frames... I may have too many barlows!🤣
This was a real treat to watch. Beautiful spread of barlows. But that OD green acorn is my pick of the litter. That's a wicked knife! Cheers, my friend!
What really pleases me about your GECs is that you enjoy carrying them (with care, as EDC light users), as I do. Who cares is that reduces their potential resale value by a modest margin? You get so much more pleasure that way, and we can't take any of them with us when we go to that great steel foundry in the sky...
Oh man Rick, that Russell is a sight to behold. Nice score sir. The GEC Barlows are a well made bunch. I'm lucky enough to have three GEC Barlows (14, 15, 77). I stumbled into the first one and loved it, the next two I sought after and a fair (?) price was paid. lol I completely agree about the oil sucker rod 86, it is one of their best. Thanks for showing us a fine collection.
Absolutely beautiful pieces!!!!! I always thought that was Toms Choice!!!! You learn something everyday…. I watch your videos and it pushes me to be a better collector….. thanks Rick I appreciate you buddy stay well and thanks again for the giveaway!!!!!
Thanks Rick They are a bunch of beautiful knives and I appreciated your reasoning for buying them as investments although I can’t seem to ever bring myself to turn a nice collectible loose lol Thanks and please be well my friend
Yep Rusty! The Barlow Pattern just calls out to you...with that big solo bolster winking at you... LoL okay, that was a bit much, I'll try not to do it again
Yeah Neil, You have to be willing to jump through some hoops to get on a dealer's "reserve list". Now that I'm retired, The hoops aren't so unattainable... but I still strike out often. Since the economy has crashed there aren't as many buyers. If you can spend the money, (dealer prices went up too) Now may be a good time to give it a try. there is a list of dealers on the gec website - call or email a few of them & ask how to get on their reserve list. Good Luck Buddy! All the best, Thanks for Watching ✌️
Very nice my friend. Thank you. And thank you Jesus ! ✝️😀✌🏼🏌🏻♂️
That was a treat! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your collection with us!😍

@@Warthogg1 LOL, yes it does
The 2017 Triscuit Cracker knife speaks to me.
I may have to run up to the store...hate when I run out of Triscuit Crakers - (original style only of course - none of this low sodium bull crap)
Rick I really like the Bulldog with the orange scales
I didn't know they built a barlow on the 86 frame.
Hey Ricky the 15 barkow is how we became friends. I'm very thankful to call you a friend Ricky , hope your doing well.
Yes it was, a great day & the start of an awesome friendship! Thanks for everything - your support has been truly appreciated
@@Warthogg1 Your welcome my Friend.
Unobtainable knives to the regular people always sold out before they drop. Very nice but the secondary market is out of control.
