Well, Bro Jim, you said it several times "i just a sucker for a Barlow" !! I go looking for a trapper, come home with 3 Barlow's!!! I sometimes don't understand it myself!!! I guess thats why i always say "Barlow Madness" 👀💯🗡️🔥🙏🎄
Amazes me that folks say how nice a ‘70’s barlow is and then ask if you ever want to part with it . Lord it’s a ‘70’s CASE knife . You NEVER get rid of a ‘70’s CASE knife . Any one you find pick it up, let the on that inherits it do what they want to with it. The pen blade on the ‘70’s CASE barlows have absolutely incredible snap, you best watch out when closing that thing. Wonderful collection and yes the sheeps foot barlows are not only unusual but very sought after as well.
Fantastic video Jim! That’s a beautiful collection of Barlow’s. My first knife was a Case Barlow when I was 7 years old. That’s back when you could carry a knife to school and nobody freaked out. I carried that thing everyday until I lost it fishing when I was a teenager. Thanks for sharing your collection buddy!
That is a wonderful collection of Barlows...thanks for sharing them all...always, wonder about the story that goes along with the vintage knives we find...wish all the tang stamps could be as easy to pinpoint to a year as Case...Jim
My collection is relatively small compared to some of you fine gentlemen, it consists of some Case, More Buck than anything, and a bunch of offbeat historic knives from Solingen Germany and War knives. I love every one of them, finding knives of any quality here in Canada is very difficult, at least where I live. Have a blessed day Jim, Thanks for sharing your Barlow’s.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🔪🙏
Great share brother. I guess my favorite typical size pocket knife is the Old school Jack Knife. The Barlow is in that group as the pattern is basically a Jack knife with just a larger Bolster. I really dig the big Early English Jacks. That big Colonial is definitely late 50s -mid 60s . That Case Barb wire is the Cats Meow! Just a Great collection 👍. Best! Dwayne
Fantastic selection, my most collected knife behind the stockman. The Ulster OT stockman is easily found on eBay for a very reasonable price, but the camp knife is very hard to find! Good luck on your chase and keep up the good work!
You have some really nice Barlow knives, if you ever want to part with one of the 70s Barlows I would be interested in buying one. Thanks for sharing them.
@@katfishbum2845 Katfish that video was for you brother. You had mentioned it in one of your comments. I really like those Barlow’s. Yes sir - if I ever part with those I will holler at you. Thank you! Jim
Very nice collection, Jim! I have yet to add a Barlow to my lineup. I foolishly missed out on an old, limited edition Case, with engraved bolsters, at an antique shop while on travel. Had my eye out for others, but just don’t see them around my part of the country. Very strange. One will pop up at some point, Lord willing. The search is always on! God bless you.
Love a good Barlow for sure! I spent 20 minutes digging through Prince Albert cans at that huge antique mall I went to the other day and couldn’t find one of those. Gotta look harder lol.
Do you take pray requests too? Good video! How can we get a sticker? Mom was from tazwell tn. Dad was from middlebro ky. I’m just a northern boy with southern roots!
Greg. Wow. Yes sir. I believe in the power of prayer brother. I know Tazewell and Middlesboro very well. If you have a request you can make it known here or email it to me. My email address is in the description of my channel. I will pray. Thank you for watching.
