I just purchased your early style hardanger book, arriving tomorrow!!!!! Can't wait to read it and learn some new techniques that I haven't done yet. Especially love that you are left handed, as I am, and have taken that into consideration. Thanks so much.
Yvette - hope you don’t mind me asking for advice. I have ‘inherited’ a bundle of DMC Floche and would appreciated some suggestions for what I can use it for. It is mainly white and ecru. TIA
@@raveyhites7179 ooh, floche is lovely. You can use that for monograms, drawn thread work, pulled thread work. It's lovely for satin stitching. It's probably too soft for something like Hardanger and you wouldn't have the two thicknesses (I think it only comes in one thickness?).
@@yvettestanton Thank you Yvette. Drawn and pulled thread work did cross my mind but I haven’t done any of that so will look a little deeper into that. I am also thinking of doing some small tone on tone cross stitch pieces with it. My mind is in overdrive now 😂 Thank you again, I really appreciate your help. Anne (Ravey Hites)
I've just tried this, following the instructions I found on Google: Go to the little "Gear" icon at the bottom right of the video - it's the settings icon next to the CC. Click on it. Change it from OFF to "English (auto-generated)". Then change that to "Auto-translate" and choose your language of choice. Hopefully this will work for you. I have no way of providing Spanish subtitles myself as I do not speak, read or understand Spanish. These videos are provided as free service by me, and I cannot afford to have subtitles professionally done. If you can use the UA-cam generated ones, great. If you can't, I'm very sorry.

Thank you Yvette. I bought the Elegant Hardanger book last week as my present to myself 🤗
Thanks! That's great!
