Wise move stripping that front end dude , they’ve so often been battered from stone chips and who knows what at that age ! but the lengths you’ve gone to with the rest of it it’s the right way to do it ..looking good it’s come a long way 👍

Get your selth a air finger sander mate.good for geting them bits of paint of that are hard to get to.

If you haven’t done your inner rear arches it will fail it’s MOT as it’s part of the structural strength of the car .they must be tied together. Also if you have replaced your sills temporarily fit the doors and offer up the side skirts and check they are not rubbing on the bottom of the doors. The after market sills can sit to high causing the bottom of the door to rub on the skirt where it passes under the the door

I will fit the doors and make sure they fit , I havnt done it yet , I’ve seen loads of people have the same as my rear arches for clearance for wheels when you lower it down, the panels have been welded together? I will look into it thanks mate

@@Tobyyjamess you can cut them back but the inners need welding to the outer for structural strength

It's coming along nicely be nice to see a whaletail on it once finish i think they look good on these cars but suppose not to everyones taste..

Try Dinitrol RC900 rust treatment, it comes in a spray can. The best by a mile

@@Tobyyjamess it treats it and encapsulates it, seen a few restoration garages use it. Done loads of bits with it and it hasn't came back through

Yes mate it is , going to run it but thinking of going back to the rst bumper mabey later on down the road
