Very interesting to watch your videos, big shout out to you for welding this car up again😮 good luck and please continue to make videos, even it is a big job it self 😊👍👍👍
Happy to hear that you like this video series about Golf GTD :) Thanks for ecouraging words. I was thinking about leaving this project few times, but I am always returning to it and I will continue until it is finished :) Now I need to prepare all the rest parts like wings, doors, bonnet etc. That will be lot of fun, I am sure 😁
It's 1 year old 70s/80s/90s white plastic white. The important thing is that you are doing it, and the best you can, learning is a part of life. If someone can do it better them self or pay someone to do it better. Well get to work or pull your credit card out.
I totally agree, for me it's important to gain experience by doing things. What I like is to do it alone, when I can make mistakes without being blamed on the spot 🤫
Thanks :) Montana green is a nice color, I admit that, but for this project I decided to go with polar silver. I think final result will be good. Lets see :)
Great work! So what if people think you aren't doing it right, even if it is your Dad? 😂 At least you are doing it. You are inspiring me on my own Mk2 project to try everything myself, including the body work, so keep making the content!
Thanks a lot for you kind words 😊 I will definitely continue with working on the GTD. Plenty of work ahead on other parts excluding body :) I will now have a little vacation to get some new energy 😁🏖
Thanks a lot :) I agree, its a fun project car. I can practice every type of car job, because nothing is in good condition on it 😁 Regarding color, I will not go with the montana green. It is nice color, but it doesnt fit to my "dream" setup, which is polar silver golf.
Yes, I am located in central Europe (Slovakia) and we run winter and summer tires depending on season. Winter tires are mandatory if there is a snow layer on the road.
@@honestmileage5225 ah yes. You get some cold weather so it makes sense. Here in the UK we only need summer tyres. So when we have one day a year of snow and ice it's chaos! Love this build and the encouraging words.
Heh, I need to earn money somehow, so I will definitely not quit my daily job 😁 Fun fact: I work in bank 🏦 So my hobby around cars is something 180° different :)
Amazing progress man! ❤❤❤
Thanks a lot 😍
Great job, my friend. Keep it up 😊
Thanks a lot 😊👍

Great work, this is a fun project car. I like the original color, are you planning to stick with this paint color?

Nice golf 2 wheels i would keep it as original.
I wouldnt change it
Thanks, I will keep these wheels for winter season :) For summer I will go with some other ones, most probably japanracing jr31.
Nice to hear that
2:57 it is called firewall.
Thanks, noted 📝😊 As you already figured out, I call lot of parts like "stuff" 😁 when I dont know the correct name.
Do you normally run two sets of wheels where you are? Winter and summer?
