On a recent camping trip, a stray dog came to hang out with us. Luckily, he had a tag with a phone number. We called the owner and he reported that he was camped 12 miles away. This pup had quite a hike.
But I'm three years old and I know how to walk and sniff and chase squirrels. So what if you can't find me? I'll just walk up to some nice stranger who has a dog, and he'll help you find me!
I really enjoy and appreciate the time you spend on videos from maintenance on your rig to the beautiful scenery you and lefty visit. Your a very kind person and I wish you and lefty the very best Thank you from Ohio !!!
Watching your videos is so relaxing calming and encouraging to me. Let's me know I can make it three or four more months until the financial change. Grateful for you & Leftu sharing your life and adventures. Blessings, peace & love. Be well. WWG1WGA!!!❤🙏🇺🇸💥
The sights and sounds of that area are so beautiful David! Thanks for capturing it and sharing with all of us. Lefty was loving life, as he gets to every day with you. I loved his ears flopping around ….I never noticed them flopping like that before….Lefty is 1 of a kind for sure, and you’re lucky to be his person!
Absolutely gorgeous and the shot with Lefty in that tall grass looking through to you when you're whistling for him is amazing that's an excellent opening shot for something else of course I think he's just gorgeous anyway❤😊❤
When I'm up really early I always love watching your new videos, it keeps you sane! We run our own business and I have to be up to ensure my babies are off and running early in the mornings! Can't wait to head out that way someday and visit some of those campgrounds you feature on your channel! Keep up the good work!
Oh dang that river from the air looked like a fantastic place to fish. I went through there in early July so the river was really happenen. Hope the other dog finds his home or a home.
His family came driving through that night looking for him. They live up above the valley and he got loose after getting his bath (that's why his collar was off). He's safe and home again :)
Hi David! I hope you get a good view of the comet while you're camped in the mountains. (Look westward around sundown) It won't be back for another 80,000 years!
Thank you for taking us down to the water stream. That looks like a spot. I was thinking they were going to charge there too. Wonder if they'll put in volt toilets. Loved the music you played when you were walking. 👏👏 The shots of the mule deer were wonderful. Thank you. Big hugs to Lefty 🤗🐾
Another tranquil camping spot! Thank you for sharing this with us, David! And I felt Lefty’s sneeze all the way to Minneapolis!! So funny!! And seeing the deer 🦌 was really special. It’s always awe inspiring to be reminded that you are sharing the land with the wildlife!! Have fun camping with Lefty in CO. What a treat for both of you!! LeeAnn 🌸
Seeing those deer is exactly what I miss about living in Colorado 🩷 Lefty’s sneeze was adorable 🥰 beautiful scenic footage especially Lefty in his grass patch 😂 Enjoy every moment ❤
I'm still recovering from a major surgery and I so desperately need to get away and unplug. So thus video took me away for awhile. I thank you for this relaxing and get away video. I'm kinda suprised you returned to Turtle rock, but I can certainly see why. It is so quiet there. Being the end of the camp season, this would be a great place to just hang out and chill. Left can make all the noise he wants here and not disturb anyone but you. LOL😂
Lefty sneezing on you reminded me of my weekend. A relative was showing us where she worked (university swine unit) and a 1000 lb boar was getting a nice head scratch when ACHOO! I was covered in pig snot. Eeewwwwww! 😂
:) Love the high desert! Thanks for taking us along with you to the river. Did you want to add a winch to the front of your bumper? That way if you are stuck you can put the winch hook on a tree and pull out. You can also put your truck in low gear, or 2. That will tell the engine to drive slower going down the mountains. You'll save the brakes, so they won't smoke. Worth a try. :)
What a lovely, lovely place to be. Lefty seems to really enjoy the fresh salad bar. ;) I don’t know if you noticed the rock formation at 17:42 minutes resembles the smiling orangutan in Disney’s The Jungle Book.
Hey David and Lefty, thinking your rig can get up that incline no problem. I have 8.3 Cummins, 300HP, 820 lbs torque moving 26k lbs and pulling 3k lbs, no issues on hills I encounter. Pretty area. ✌🏼
beautiful use of your drone! do you have more than one? I know of the little square-shaped one that follows you, but you must have a more serious one to do the higher views! Keep up the great and creative work!! ❤
I do have a bigger one for the high shots - and an updated one one the way from the manufacturer... hopefully it's going to give me even better shots :)
Can you do a video on Quartzite. Do you have to make reservations? How to find a site? Planning ahead of arriving? What we need to know. Going to be a full timer soon and having trouble finding details.
Geez David you really need to relax about hills. My 7.3 IDI non-turbo ambulance has no problem with steep hills. And if that motorhome made up there with no problem you shouldn't even think twice about it. And the only engine available in the new 350/450 cutaways is the 7.3 Godzilla. That replaced the V10. And the last year for diesels in the E-Series was 2009 Stop worrying about hills, put your foot on the throttle and GO!
Another beautiful video! Question, I have been watching your videos for a while now and I even went back and watched from the beginning. I think I have watched them all, so I want to know If U would travel to the ocean? I can't remember did U and your daughter take the dogs to the ocean to play? Alaska is a long trip but would U ever go? Thanks just curious!
That line is inactive. Has been since the 90s. Once in a blue moon, the railroad will place cars in storage up there. But that has even been a few years. CHEERS from Colorado
Hello, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. See John 1:12 for this please. Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
Nice place thanks much 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Thank you, David & Lefty for that beautiful walk! Take care and stay safe!❤️🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼❤️🐶🐶❤️

A little piece of heaven right there.. Enjoy!

Love you guys. Thanks for sharing David.
Hello David, love the jam at 6:30 had an old GD feel.
Thanks! Fun picking music :)

Kinda misty on river
Thanks for bringing us along
Beautiful area beside the river
Those were mule deer . Big ears and they bounce when they run . Great video ..
Beautiful drone shots and scenery there. It's always nice to listen to your stories and see Lefty at his finest. He is awesome! Safe travels!
Another beautiful spot. So glad you got to do some CO time in summer/fall! Its perfect. Thank goodness the visitor dog's people came for him!
Thanks, David and Lefty 👍
Lefty sure enjoys his grass … another pretty campsite…and love the moving waters

I liked that too! It was great to capture him listening to me :)

Beautiful area.
Love Lefty's bouncing ears. So cute.
You are a master at filming.
Thank you! I'm having fun filming !
Lefty, remember your dad will always love you best. No need to be jealous of the passer bys. Glad his family tracked him down ( visiting dog ).
I was glad too - he ran away after getting a bath so that's why his collar was off...

I have to - to keep up with Lefty!
I love the videography today! Colors and images are so crisp and clear. The drone shots up high with the entire area are stunning! Thank you! ❤
Thanks so much! I'm trying some different shots :)
Absolutely beautiful spot. Lefty and yourself must be in heaven. May the good Lord watch over you you your family and friends. Peace and Love 😊.
Thank you!

Wow still in Colorado surprised you have not had snow, remember living there and having snow labor day weekend, not fun times! Stay safe out there!
We are having an Indian summer this year. Unseasonably warm, I'm pretty sure we will have snow before Halloween 🎃 😊
We're about to move on - it's coming!

Lefty makes me laugh when he’s upside down, what a star ⭐️
That's his routine when he's in happy mode!!!
What a beautiful opening, David! Music and scenery were beautiful. Thank you.
Many thanks!

This place is so quiet!
Thanks for the video. Cool idea to follow your walk with the drone. Both butter and Goo Gone are good for removing pine pitch.
I have some dog cleaning wipes that knock it down too :)
Hi David!!!
cool spot man. water nearby is a must for me. only thing missin is a fish for the fryin pan.
Hey Lefty
Lefty sneezing on you reminded me of my weekend. A relative was showing us where she worked (university swine unit) and a 1000 lb boar was getting a nice head scratch when ACHOO! I was covered in pig snot. Eeewwwwww! 😂
Haha! Lefty sprayed me on that one!

A winch would be a life saver - to keep me from worrying!
This campground is so beautiful. I love the sound of water. Can you hear the water from the camper?
Yes! There's a background sound of the water. It sounds great :)
Hope to see you in Quartzsite
We'll be there!
What a lovely, lovely place to be. Lefty seems to really enjoy the fresh salad bar. ;) I don’t know if you noticed the rock formation at 17:42 minutes resembles the smiling orangutan in Disney’s The Jungle Book.
I'll give that a look- I've seen some definite shapes in the rocks around there :)

I know... we'll be fine :)
I think Lefty is taking you on a walk instead of the other way
He's always in the lead (unless I tell him otherwise) :)
Beautiful views 👍. Poor Doggie 🐾😱is he abandoned?
His family drove through that night and got him :)
😀
Your 7.3 should crush that uphill.
I'm sure we'll be OK- just over thinking it!

Dalynn and I went to Lake Ontario with the dogs. We haven't been to the ocean, no... it's on the list :)
I see railroad tracks there by the river! Have you heard any trains, or is that a defunct railroad? Thanks for the video. :)
Those aren't used - no nighttime noises!
@@TheCampulanceMan Good to hear! I'm not sure Lefty would be too fond of it hehe
Such spectacular drone footage. How do you get all of the footage?
By spending a lot of time playing with them :)
What happens to it? I remember when I heated with Oil, We had to mix Kerosene to keep the fuel from Gelling.
Who does the filming behind you when you’re walking?
That's one of my drones following us :)
@@TheCampulanceMan I was thinking that but I didn’t see any controller in you hand Thanks
@Bodiy it follows my phone :)
@@TheCampulanceMan Thanks that is interesting had no idea that they made them and I like Lefty his talking all the time is hilarious
Quick question: At the beginning of the video I noticed the flashing lights from under your rig. Is that to deter rodents/pack rats? Or ??
~TIA~
Exactly. We haven't had any rodent problems since I added them :)
have you found the owner of that dog
They came through that evening and got him:)
My blue heeler loves to eat her grass! It's only a certain type that she will eat though, anyone know why this is?
Lefty’s very picky too - he prefers the wide blade grasses... :)
@@TheCampulanceMan yes!! Denver as well! I've always thought that dogs only eat grass to help vomit, but that's obviously not true
He's been eating grass since he was a youngster. He eats it like a snack! @@RosieS519
I bet that train gets annoying at night.
I don't know if that's an active track. We never saw/heard a train on it.
