The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed 4R100 transmission. Lefty is a 68lb American Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter (www.vsas.org/) in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. Glad you'll be leaving soon before the snow gets closer. We had a hail storm last night and we're down to the 40's at night. Really like when you use the drone. The views you get are amazing.

I miss the snow a lot of times. I wish it was easy for my wife to get a visa to come to the US. All i needed to do is come here to the Philippines and get a 30 day visa when we get here but befor my wife can leave here and come to the USA she has to have a visa befor she can leave here to come to the USA very sad. I really injoy watching you and LEFTY
I’m wondering how and why you picked Lucky to adopt. You are both such a perfect match. Lefty is quite a character with his rolling and talking. You are lucky to have each other.
He was so friendly when I saw him at the shelter. We went in a room to visit and he stretched out on his back on the floor and gave me his belly... that's what made me decide he was a good one :)

Hi David, you might want to try some heat shrink tubing for your sunglasses (if the issue is where the metal goes into the plastic). I used some recently & it seems to be working ... so far.
Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon - I'm hoping to get back to Quartzsite within the next couple of weeks - as soon as it looks like the temps are going to stay below 90.

I'm surprised you didn't work the Sugar Beet Harvest this year.
Buffalo peaks are to the east of you and collegiate peaks to the west, Mt Princeton, Mt Harvard, Mt Yale, etc.. Collegiate peaks are part of the continental divide. All are 14,000 foot mountains is why they have snow early.

Are those snowcap mountains in the Vail area not familiar with Colorado? I know where it is on the map but the geographic area.
Those are Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Antero peaks to the west - we're south of Vale.
Hmmm! Guess the ski lodges/resorts can begin their $$$ assets for the 2024/2025 season. Good for them, sez I.
