Hi there, 19 apples 🍏, them thar’s a lot of apples 😂 I’ve a couple of questions if you could answer for me. Is the inner strainer a 2 or 3-stage strainer? In other words does it have a set of large and small holes or a set of large, medium and fine holes? If you could show a close up of the strainer basket that would be awesome! The second question is when there’s a lot left to juice is the juice that’s already made not oxidizing as it sits there on the counter exposed to light and air? Thanks and God bless!! ❤🙏
Good morning, yes I love apples so I added more to the mix. I used the stage 2 strainer to have some pulp in it for extra fiber. Around the 3:20 mark in the video I zoomed in to show the strainer up close. Stage one with smaller holes filters out more pulp. The juice really wasn’t sitting there long enough for light and air to have any real effect on it. You’re welcome and God bless 🙏🏾
@@foreverloveDonAlex Thanks for responding. I’m sorry for being nit picky but I’m trying to do my research for a good juicer. I realize Nama is a top tier brand but it’s very expensive - C$800+ with taxes. I saw a similar looking juicer on Amazon that’s about $230, and has a strainer basket with 3 levels of holes - large, medium and fine - that doesn’t seem to need an extra straining tool. It’s Chinese made and doesn’t have anywhere close to the warranty Nama offers. I’m torn between getting the cheaper one now or exercising patience and save up for the Nama (it’ll take a long time to save it all up)! Have a blessed day and thanks again!! 🙏😊
You’re welcome and no problem! I definitely understand and it may function the same. We tried a cheaper one before but got the best results with the Nama. We’re not necessarily vouching for them just sharing our experience in using it. I was unfamiliar with juicers and also thought the price was steep when my wife bought it. Then I found they get even more expensive lol. But I would check the reviews if you haven’t already and if most are satisfied I’d go for it. If you’re not happy with it and have the opportunity to upgrade later you could resell it(keep the box) or bless someone who’s looking to get into juicing. The Nama warranty is a plus. Can you make smoothies or sorbet with the other one?
@@foreverloveDonAlex Hi - thanks for replying and for the suggestions. I looked again at the Amazon juicer and also did some google searches. There aren’t many reviews because the juicer is fairly new (available Aug/23). Amazon reviews were mostly positive but tbh they're not always trustworthy because they tend to lump all related products together so as to increase favourability ratings. The google search didn’t produce much either, I think because the juicer is new. I did find the user manual but it was generic and didn’t cover much. As far as I can tell the juicer strictly for juicing and doesn't have either a sorbet or smoothie attachment. Therefore I've decided to wait and save up for the Nama which hopefully won’t take too long to accomplish. I borrowed a friend’s old Jack LaLanne juicer and made my first batch of juice using produce already on hand (apples, beets, carrots, cucumber, celery, pineapple, pomegranate, ginger, tangerine) and it is delicious! The cleaning up though, what a mess!! I will be sure to keep you up updated when I finally order/receive my Nama. Thanks for everything and blessings to you and your family for a safe, joyous and healthy Christmas. ❤🙏🎄🎅🌃🌠🎁✨🎉🎊
@@missbiggs9437 Ok, it will be worth the wait. Glad you found a way to juice until then. Yes cleaning is the hardest part lol it gets better as you get use to it. You’re welcome and God bless you and yours also 🙏🏾 Thanks!
Make note to remove seeds and stems from apples
Thanks for the tip!
I makes that same juice and it’s so good!
You were getting it in good before the holidays cuz! 👍🏾That juice looks good. I love pineapple mixed with various green veggies. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah this one lasted about 4 days lol It was good! Likewise! Preciate it cuz and you’re welcome!
I used the smoothie strainer to add more pulp for fiber. Use the strainer with smaller holes for less pulp.
The pineapple 🍍 added is a good idea
Thanks!
I enjoyed this video
Thanks for watching!
I makes that same juice and it’s so good! How many times a day do you drink the juice since you make so much ??
@@annejames890 I normally eat one meal day and drink two bottles(breakfast and lunch) when I bulk juice.
Kale pineapples apples together should also have a piece of ginger, pineapples and kale is hard on digestion
Yes they can be depending on the person. I’ve had no issue juicing them together.
