A fat Brummie here unfortunately no caravan! If those wonderful men still try to fly off Brighton Pier once a year you could well be due for the £10 postal order with your C3! Highly recommend RNLI recovery & home start... Super content many thanks.
Neat engine. The homebuilt Smith Termite aircraft prototype had a 36 hp Aeronca engine. I wonder if it is the same model engine? I like the oil guage! That is neat. I have a C85 powered Champ I fly out of Sig Field which is south of Montezuma Iowa. So I see wind turbines in my area also. I sure enjoy your videos. - Mike T.
I had to look up the Smith Termite, it seems the prototype was built from the remains of an Aeronca K so yes, the motor would have been near identical. I like your Champ, found a picture of it at Sig Field last month, very pretty ship 👍
If forced to attach the safety wire directly to a motor mount, I always secure a hose clamp securely around the motor mount tube and then hook the wire around the worm screw head. Not the motor mount itself. I've had to condemn more than a couple motor mounts for wear over that. Plastic tie wraps are even worse.

Fat Brummies most welcome! Thank you for posting a message, more content soon.
you can pull harder than you can push a tool. lovely motor
That aircraft and engine were built at a time where things were made to last!
..... and simple to service and repair.
What a great little engine. Decent power output for the times, all things considered.

That's a good idea, I shall adopt it straight away.
