That would mean more if Jim Kelly actually saw him fight a real fighter 🤔🤔🤔. Jim Kelly talk about bruce lee fighting skills in practical combat . That’s what he was praising . He didn’t say Bruce lee was the best fighter I ever saw fighting 😂.
As far as demonstrations ? Yeh I guess Bruce lee was the best 😂😂.

What you failed to mention about that interview is that him kelly was talking about Bruce Lee’s sparring ability’s. That’s it.
As far as proof that he can stand with pro fighters 🤔. Never had been proved.
Only speculated . And Jim Kelly is one of those who speculated 😉
That can be done today aswell , 😉. Understand that’s just him Kelly’s personal opinions on Bruce lee. Even thought Jim has never seen Bruce lee fight real pro fighters he still made the comment based on what his personal opinion is.
Jim Kelly who was a real pro fighter said anyone in Bruce Lee’s weight class Bruce lee would beat 😂. Again even though Bruce lee has never fought a pro fighter 🤔.
Just because Jim made the comment Doesent mean it’s so . Jim himself has lost 30 fights in his career. He was a badass. One of the best . A real fighters. Not a speculated fighter like Bruce lee.

Joe stated that he was Bruce's lab rat proving his ideas, he also stated Bruce was not a fighter but a great coach. Another problem with this is that Kareem Abdul jabber wrote in his book about sparring matches between Bruce and a lot of these karate guys from Norris to Lewis and he said that when he saw Norris and Bruce spar Norris face looked like an apple.

That's funny. In a recent interview, Lee historian John Little said when he mentioned Bruce and Joe never sparring to Ted Wong, Ted told him Joe and Herb Jackson (the student who build a lot of Bruce's training equipment) were sparring one day when Joe threw a wicked open-hand slap that almost busted the man's eardrum. Bruce was not happy about that, asked for Herb's gloves, then, in Little's words, “showed Joe that he didn't have all the answers." As for Kareem, he laughed and said they were training at Bruce’s house when it was suggested that Joe and the big man go at it. Bruce then whispered to Kareem exactly how to handle his opponent and, according to him, Lewis couldn't do a damn thing.

I'm just going to leave this here. "Bob Wall, USPK karate champion and Lee's co-star in Enter the Dragon, recalled one encounter that transpired after a film extra kept taunting Lee. The extra yelled that Lee was "a movie star, not a martial artist," that he "wasn't much of a fighter". Lee answered his taunts by asking him to jump down from the wall he was sitting on. Wall described Lee's opponent as "a gang-banger type of guy from Hong Kong," a "damned good martial artist," and observed that he was fast, strong, and bigger than Bruce.
This kid was good. He was strong and fast, and he was really trying to punch Bruce's brains in. But Bruce just methodically took him apart. Bruce kept moving so well, this kid couldn't touch him...then all of a sudden, Bruce got him and rammed his ass with the wall and swept him up, proceeding to drop him and plant his knee into his opponent's chest, locked his arm out straight, and nailed him in the face repeatedly". - Bob Wall

Nice 👍. Another story of Bruce lee beating up a movie extra actor . When you hear a real story about bruce lee fighting a pro let me know 😂. Incredible Bruce beats up an actor . And the one telling the story tries to enhance the actors credentials as a fighter 😂😂. I wonder one thing ? What was the actors name? He took time to articulate the ass whipping but no names right ?
Just saying the kid was good and strong ? Yeh ok. 😂
Was told that the challenger on that set was actually bolo Chen . Of course by delusional lee fans. Till it was debunk and came out that bolo was the one telling the story of the fight with the extra actor.
Bob wall and bolo spoke of the same actor brice lee beat up. 2 different stories. Bolo didn’t say the actor was good and strong and all that crap. Bob wall did 😉🤔🤔.
Wall was a strong Bruce lee protagonists for many years. So I’d imagine he’d spiced up the story just a little bit for bruce lees bennifit😉😉😉.
Trying To make the actor a hard fight for lee 😂
While bolo story made more sence . Lee whipped him and the kid didn’t have a chance. He was an actor and nothing more 😂

I know of a few , Ernest Lieb the first man to ever take the Korean championship away from the Koreans in his weight class, Lieb is in the karate hall of fame, he wS also in black belt hall of fame, Lieb also trained with superior Bill Wallace, Chuck Norris, Lieb was not only a champion in full con karate but he also started his own style called," The American Karate System. " Lieb tells the story of when he fist met Bruce Lee in his karate manual, Lee was telling everyone about his system, Lieb hearing this and just taking the championship away from the Koreans thought he could easily beat Lee, so he asked Lee to show him . They went to a nearby dojo and started to spar , Lee knocked Lieb down as they where coming up from the bowe , Lee telling Lieb never take your eyes of an opponent, even in a bowe. Lieb thinking now I'll show him what I have! Lieb say he was throwing everything he had at Lee and that he was trying to hurt Lee, lieb states in his Manu that while he was giving Bruce everything that he had Bruce was just playing with him and was talking all the time telling lieb what he was doing wrong. Lieb was built a lot like bruch but heavier muscled. Lieb could not believe what had just happened, he ate a whole lot of humble pie. They became good friends and I believe he even trained with Lee some after that. Lieb has pictures in his manual of him and Bruce. So there is your one champion who Bruce easily wiped . But if you listen to all the world champions who did spar with Lee they all pretty much said the same thing, he hit as hard as any heavyweight and was faster. I have even heard a open mic recording of Chuck Norris being asked if he thought he could beat Bruce in a real fight, he said absolutely not. This is when Bruce was alive. Now Chuck Norris avoids the question, for obvious reasons.

Have them throw punches at the same speed (slow is fine, but both should be active, not one) or defensive techniques. Stationary isn't training. They're not even exercizing.
Also did you use real Kukri's? That's very fucking irresponsible. Use wooden or plastic weapons that cannot slice or pierce. But even those are dangerous so using rubber weapons is better. You don't get used to a weapons weight, that's for actual weapon training. In unarmed defence never use real weapons or on any person, at all. If you want to spar use bamboo swords or weapons that are heavily taped or rubberized. As anything of a weapon can cause serious damage. Especially if you have no clue wtf you're doing with those.

So many fans can’t come up with actual fights involving Bruce lee so they have to tell you what other fighters said about him😂.
Wich would mean wayyyy more if any of these guys actually say bruce lee in a real combat fight .
Fans hear these guys praise him and don’t understand that they are talking about Bruce lees practical martial arts concepts.
Because let’s be real , none of them saw him in a real fight 😂😂. So they can assume that brice would have done good in actual fighting 😂

Interesting story that I recently read and apparently it was confirmed by Jackie Chan and Bolo Yeung himself.
On the set of Enter the Dragon, Bolo actually doubted Bruce Lee's strength. He said because Bruce was so light and fast he couldn't possibly possess alot of strength. Bolo approached Bruce and asked him to spar. Apparently they got into a heated debate and Bolo grabbed Bruce in a bear hug. Bruce apparently got free and struck Bolo in the chest with a punch. Bolo dropped to a knee and waved his hand in typical Bolo fashion saying that was it. He knew right then never to question Bruce's strength again. This was confirmed by Bolo himself, Jackie Chan and a few others who are still alive who were there. If this story is true and Bruce could drop a 240 lbs. Bolo with one punch, there's no question Bruce could do that to Chuck.

Bruce and Chuck were like the 2 sides of a coin. Let's call that coin: martial arts.
Bruce was a top athlete who constantly strove to take various martial disciplines and apply what he found useful to actual hand to hand combat. He incorporated taekwondo kicks, western boxing handwork, Wing Chun center line theory, judo throws etc with the purpose of application on the street.
Chuck was a top athlete dedicating most of his effort to sport karate, and was extremely successful at it: 6 time world champion. He adapted his martial arts to the quick pace of international competition.
I'm sure their sparring sessions were very interesting since they were both at the top of their game. More importantly, they really liked each other and had alot of respect for each other.

That was the issue I had with Bruce lee Movies. He never really had a knock down drag out fight scene with anyone and the Dragon movie with Chuck was about as close as you were going to get. Could it be EGO on his part? Was he that good that there was NO one in the martial Arts world capable of beating him? I doubt that. Even his respected Teacher, IP Man told him, it doesn't matter how good you are, there's always someone out there that can defeat you! I personally believe Bruce Lee feared that and he was very selective or fortunate enough not to find out!

"Bruce was incredibly strong for his size. He could take a 75lb barbell and from a standing position with the barbell held flush against his chest, he could slowly stick his arms out, lock them and hold the barbell there for 20 seconds, that's pretty damn tough for a guy who at the time only weighed 138lbs. I know 200lb weight lifters who can't do that." - Joe Lewis
He's also been filmed do 50 reps of one-arm pull ups, and jamming his fingers into pressurized steel cans (very thin steel, but still).
Dana White has called Bruce Lee "the father of mixed martial arts". Jeet Kune Do by it's very meaning is not a strict style but more of a philosophy. Lee has described it as "style without style", the whole point is do whatever works. It takes the most direct and effective route to the opponent known by the individual. Many UFC fighters take several styles of martial arts and make them their own, combining them all, this is Jeet Kune Do.
Gene Lebell even stated Bruce was the best martial artist of his time.
      Bob Wall didn't fight Bruce Lee seriously. Chuck wrote about Bruce again in his WorldNetDaily column in 2011, describing both his skills as a martial artist and his physical gifts in a very complimentary manner;
“The truth is, Lee was a formidable opponent with a chiseled physique and technique. I totally enjoyed sparring and just spending time with him. He was as charismatic and friendly in the ring and at home as he was on film. His confidence and wit were dazzling, and sometimes even debilitating to others... Lee was lightning fast, very agile and incredibly strong for his size.” (Black Belt Magazine)
Chuck Norris also recounted that he thought Bruce Lee would have been the undisputed world champion if he ever fought professionally.
So it is very clear that Chuck still has great respect for his friend and the impression that Bruce made on Norris still lasts to this day. Bruce would go on to become an icon to millions around the world as his martial arts movies completely redefined the genre and captured the imagination of old and young alike. Norris achieved great on-screen success in his own right and I’m sure that he is secure enough in his own skills and his own legacy to not worry about whether Bruce was “better” than him in the ring, on the big

I could tell in one second that this guy knew what he was talking about, especially regarding the importance of bodyweight in an actual fighting situation. Bruce did some personal training in grappling with "Judo" Gene LeBell at his mountain dojo, and when I asked Gene how tough Bruce actually was, he told me that, "he knew several men who could break him in half like a toothpick." He stressed that movie fighting is quite different from street fighting, and that Bruce was an extremely small guy. But he also was amazed at his quickness, and one technique of Bruce's that he thought was particularly "inhuman," HIS SIDE KICK. He recalled that when he held up the bag to protect himself, "when Bruce kicked me, it felt like being kicked by a mule."

I am never concerned whether who can beat who, nobody will stay invincible and unbeaten over time.
What people should appreciate BL is his contributions to MMA.
Back in those days, everyone practise their own style and stuck to it, thinking no other styles were better and it's absolutely blasphemous to learn other styles.
BL broke that traditional thinking, he believed that every style has their advantages and disadvantages, hence the famous quote:"take whatever is useful and reject whatever is useless."
This philosophy brought about many criticisms in those days and people actually send him death threats and challenges, things actually got worse when he even chose to teach any race, white, yellow, black doesn't matter.
Fighting techniques are always gonna improve over time, and you can't compare today's techniques against people from half a century ago can you?
Without a doubt, BL kinda laid a foundation for MMA fighters today. If some of the all time greats like Anderson Silva idolised and adopted BL fighting philosophies, what are we keyboard warriors arguing about?

Chuck Norris was not a real fighter. Even MMA competitions are not exactly real fighting. A real fight does not have a referee and rules. Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier fought in the UFC under MMA rules. Jon Jones won both times, even though the 2nd win was later vacated. Those competitive fights that we watched on television between those two is not the same fight that would occur if they both crossed paths in a dark alley. In a real fight, anything goes. Maybe Chuck Norris has been in a real street fight. I think Bruce Lee had been in a couple. People should not use sparring, martial arts competitions, UFC, etc to judge who a better fighter is. From my experience, I’ve found that the individual usually left standing is the person that is more ruthless and vicious. It’s like fighting a vicious pit bull or other wild animal. Those animals don’t know martial arts but they’ll tear a MMA fighter to pieces. I’ve always suspected that this is why Bruce Lee did not do competitions and why he mentioned to one expert that he’d bite him if he were held down (or something like that). There was a martial arts school I wanted to join when I was younger and I remember the instructor making it known to me that they were not in it for competitions, that they were the real deal and what you learned there was practical stuff you’d use in real life situations. Unless Bruce and Chuck actually fought one another for real, it is useless to keep questioning who would win between them. And people have to remember that though they were both born in the same year, Chuck Norris has now lived almost 50 years longer than Bruce Lee. Chuck has had decades longer to refine and perfect his skill. So be mindful of which Chuck Norris you’re comparing to Bruce Lee.

It’s funny how when Bruce was alive, no one had the balls to stand up and confront him and here we have everyone coming out of the woodwork trying to defame the guy!
So I’m not buying this entire story! There’s a lot of creationism going on to fit this guys own agenda or narrative and you can see it in the interview and every time he’s asked a question!
If you compare Bruce’s techniques and particular execution compared to Chucks movements it’s like chalk and cheese! You can see the amount of time that Bruce put into his training and the self perfection he achieved which is way beyond and by far superior than like the likes of Chuck, Labelle, etc…
