My husband and i have visited it couple of times, each time it was raining hard and sky covered in clouds. As we approached it the clouds opened up like in a circle and the sun shown forth very beautiful. The 2nd time my husband mom was with and we told her about the clouds parting as we came up to it. Like the 1st time with his mom the clouds parted like the first time and sun shown forth . we all was amazed

Thank you for an excellent video. I've researched the scriptures and asked people with keys who would know about Adam-ondi-Ahman in my research and have come to exactly the same sense of understanding about the place and the events past and in the future that have and will take place there.
I've also visited the location twice and walked vast portions of the property... the two particular places that you showed in this lecture. Great spiritual promptings came to me while there.
Also, Spring Hill, that point there mentioned in the D&C, has some incredible history associated with it.
You've nailed the same understanding of this subject that I've gleaned in my years of curiosity and prompted need to know about this place. I plan to purchase your brochure and study it.

I've followed my Lord Jesus since I was 13 and when I was 59 I joined His Church (Baptized in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea), but Scripture is clear that when Jesus Christ returns to Earth he will split the Mount of Olives from East to West first before going anywhere else.

Visited here with my family in 93 as a teen. I really didn't know as much as I do now, but even then it was plainly and immediately obvious it was a sacred place

We also need to remember that Christ will also appear in His Temple in Zion. This will be the Temple in Independence, Missouri. This appearance will also occurs prior to Christ coming in glory to all the world.

Also read “The Refiner’s Fire” by Alvin R. Dyer. He was an Apostle when David O. McKay was the prophet, but not a member of the quorum of the Twelve.

Others may also be there, but if so they will be there by appointment, for this is to be an official council called to attend to the most momentous matters concerning the destiny of this earth.
When this gathering is held, the world will not know of it; the members of the Church at large will not know of it, yet it shall be preparatory to the coming in the clouds of glory of our Savior Jesus Christ as the Prophet Joseph Smith has said. The world cannot know of it. The Saints cannot know of it-except those who officially shall be called into this council-for it shall precede the coming of Jesus Christ as a thief in the night, unbeknown to all the world. (Way to Perfection, pp. 290-91.)

I'm wondering if the gathering at Adam Ondi Ahman coincides with the parable of The Ten Virgins? That it won't be the entire membership of the Church or just those with a church calling but those who have oil in their lamps, those who have been endowed in holy temples and are being true and faithful to those covenants and actively seeking to be members of the Church of the Firstborn. Couldn't this also be the quickening event where those persons who receive their next assignment are translated as described in D and C 78: 11-22.? There's been so much emphasis on having your temple recommend even with temples closed, to be "recommended to the Lord." That's my honest belief. Please correct me if I'm way off.
Hi Dunlappin, consider the parable of the talents as compared to the meeting(s) of Adam-Ondi-Ahman. This is where all who held keys will report to their priesthood authority. This will all roll up to Adam, and then be presented to Christ.
Elder Bednar's talk from the last conference regarding a test gave a great explanation of the 10 virgins and would fit right into your observation.
Also u may read "visions of glory" by John pontius. It's an eye opener. Pray for the spirit to confirm all truth while u read.

I think there seems to be some conflicting info on this, or several sessions. I have read that ALL saints would have an opportunity to be here, like a Sacrament meeting. Why would worthy saints that just don't happen to have leadership roles be precluded?
As Tom mentioned, Elder McConkie specified that Faithful Saints would also gather. In president Nelson’s April ensign address he states “The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do”
-I believe this is not the world vs church but members of the church.
He also states “Why do we need such resilient faith? Because difficult days are ahead. Rarely in the future will it be easy or popular to be a faithful Latter-day Saint. Each of us will be tested. The Apostle Paul warned that in the latter days, those who diligently follow the Lord “shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). That very persecution can either crush you into silent weakness or motivate you to be more exemplary and courageous in your daily lives”.
-notice he specifies “faithful” Latter Day Saints
Then he qualifies our faithfulness in trial with “being more faithful and exemplary in our daily lives” and “As you keep your covenants with increasing precision, and as you defend the Church and kingdom of God on the earth today, the Lord will bless you with strength and wisdom to accomplish what only members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can accomplish.”
-I agree that we are choosing right now to be all in with the Lord. The middle ground is gone.

I like comments. I like reading like minded people as it builds my faith. At the same time yes there could be inappropriate comments that need to be watched.
I really enjoy reading others perspectives of these doctrinal points and the history being used to interpret in this manner. It helps me to understand what ideas can add to this perspective. For instance I’d love to hear what opinions of these events any other member of the church leadership other than Elder Mcconkie. We know that he sometimes taught things that others in the Quorums didn’t necessarily agree with.

This is an excellent presentation. My wife and I was able to visit Adam Ohndi Aman 6 yes ago, you can definitely feel the spirit there. I’ve noticed that over the last few years that some members feel we will be called to gather at places of safety before going to Missouri. What is your opinion of that?

How will every faithful latter day saints from all countries gather in AOA? Will they take breaks from their jobs, get a visa and and fly there? Will that be after the great tribulation? Which tribulation: the one that happens in America or the one in Jerusalem?
I have similar questions.
You'd be surprised at just how many truly faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints there really are. Less than you'd imagine. We'll find out when the call comes.
That's why the prophets of old wanted to see our days but they didn't... But big responsibility though

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books. Great read. Thumbs up! 👍

For the 10th Article of Faith, I wonder if you didn't touch on it because it wasn't your focus, but don't you think the "and" is really saying AND...like it's a separate thing that follows the gathering.
"We believe in the literal gathering of Israel AND in the restoration of the Ten Tribes..."
So, this is the 10 lost tribes coming forth from the north countries. That these people will come to Adam Ondi Ahman too? Then they will help build Zion. Let me know your thoughts.

Someone in a Sunday School class recently said that her aunt and uncle are apparently on a mission there and were directed by the prophet to do some landscaping work to get the grounds ready for the Savior's return. I don't know what all that entails, though.

Hmm, I'm LDS 100% and always interested to read and hear about our scripture.
I am deciding between the happy all-inclusive sacrament meeting POV you've represented here where all the saints are gathered as opposed to a more defined role of Adam-Ondi-Ahman where those with very specific responsibilities throughout man's time on earth, report to their savior on their work, and we watch.
To me, I see the point being that the leaders report on the work and of course, partake of the sacrament at this event.
Personally, I don't believe we will all be transported to be at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. We, the faithful, may be made aware of it through the spirit and as such *we may be there, in spirit.*
To quote something Paul said: "whether in the body or out of the body, I know not."
The logistics alone of what is being stated here are mind-blowing: If of the 16+ million members there are say 7 million active and righteous, for them to gather in one place is unprecedented on earth for there were only 2 million that Moses took out of Egypt.
I mean not to mock but umm, Is the church buying the porta-potties that are required for this event for we'd need around 1 million- can you imagine the crying room for this event as, well, who is going to baby sit the crying and urinating children during this sacred event?
I mean no contention in stating this view- I just don't want the saints in New Guinea, NZ or Iceland etc etc etc, buying mosquito repellent, preparing their cameras and spending what money they have on white shirts for a sacrament meeting they are to attend in Missouri.
Now, I could be wrong- the Lord could reveal portals tomorrow for he has the power to do such.
I don't doubt his ability to take us in the blink of an eye but, I'm just saying this gathering may not be what we imagine it to be from what has been revealed. I'm leaning more on the there in spirit perception.

Alexander Powell I agree with you. Not all the Saints will go there. It’s impossible to fit everyone. I have wondered if we would all be able to watch it at stake centers or perhaps from our own homes. We have had temple dedications performed to large congregations all over the world on the internet. The Nauvoo temple dedication & hallelujah chorus that many believe was the opening of the 7th seal was televised.

Are you up for some questions? Why was Adam commanded to construct the alter out of unhewn stone when in later dispensations the alter was constructed of hewn stone with specific dimensions? Are the righteous saints who are in attendance at the great sacrament meeting exempted from being counted by a child as delineated in Isaiah 10? While traveling through the mid west and east, my former in-laws visited Adam-ondi-Ahman and were surprised to see massive construction (the laying of a waste disposal system and water system). Can you confirm that this has transpired and Adam-ondi-Ahman has been prepared for the great meeting(s) to come?

As far as the second question, it seems to me that Isaiah 10 is talking about after the Lord comes in glory and destroys all the wicked. The great sacrament meeting you are referring to is prior to that. And there being construction there like you are mentioning, I would LOVE to know more about that! :)
@@phyllisperriton4098 Phyllis, as far as I know there are no plans for the church to construct a temple at the location. This location is out in the boondocks.
When visions occur on the 4th dimension spiritual plane look for the realization of those visions to occur on the same plane. We must ascend in SPIRIT to what is already prepared for us there rather than expecting God to come to us; which has already occurred. Our turn to ascend through choosing the WILL of GOD wholeheartedly and without knowing what that will is. The material level will hold you back so it must release it from your mind as being the primary thoughts in your mind and actions. You will henceforth be identified as an ASCENDING CHILD OF GOD with an eternal destiny!

After listening to this video, a question came to my mind. When was the land divided to what we know today?
It is clear what we must do to qualify for the privilege to attend Adam-Ondi-Amon, but I wonder how we’ll all get there. How will it be kept secret with that many people gathered into one place? Perhaps these are silly questions.
No need to overcomplicate the subject - it's not a 5000 piece jigsaw puzzle or a long list of boxes you have to tick. If you are striving to live the gospel, you will be worthy.
My son recently returned from a mission from Saõ Paulo, Brazil.🇧🇷 One of those he taught almost didn't get baptized because they didn't want to have to come to the United States when the Lord returns.
I was quite surprised that the investigator knew about this but is am now curious about not only those who live in the promised land (North and South America) but Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.
I don't know that this question has been answered and I do have faith that the Lord will provide a way, but I am curious if anything has been said about how a worldwide church would gather at Adam-ondi-Ahman?
Won't there be Holy places in each land for people to gather??
@@happylatter-daysaint3503 We have been told in the past to gather in our own lands as Stakes of Zion, but when the Central Stake of Zion is formally established and the New Jerusalem is built, this is where the Lord’s people will reside to escape the evil of the world.

As a college student in utah years ago there was a temple set to be dedicated, but so many wanted to be involved that the church allowed regular church houses to be temporarily consecrated as a temple- so that many people who longed to attend the temple dedication could recieve a special recomend, and meet in these set apart church houses where they broadcasted the temple dedication to the church houses so that many many more could attend that special sacred event. I wonder- perhaps we will be gathered into our own stake centers which would have been specially and temporarily made ready for many to "attend" who couldn't otherwise, where each of us have opportunity to attend this great meeting...

I think you will. I think all living saints with oil in their lamps will be quickened as it says in D&C in order to be in attendance.
Yes you will, if the lord sees fit. The lord would do what he will to enable His qualified saints to attend. There is no limit to the Lords power. His power is not exhaustive. What you need now is to seek personal revelation giving you the assurance that u shall be there. Then live worthily for that to be fulfilled so that you shall be ready anytime that time comes. This assurance comes through earnest seeking through prayer and all other sacred means of obtaining personal revelation.

I like to listen to what you are sharing - sacred and holy doctrine. It should therefore be shared with deep reverence and not like you are rushing along a platform trying to catch the last train out of the station. PLEASE SLOW DOWN! Teach as the Saviour would. After all, that is who you are representing. Share each word of doctrine so it can be properly absorbed before rushing onto the next piece of important information

First of all thank you ! I am grateful for your well thought out presentation and material. I had one question. You spoke of two appearances. What about the Mount of Olives? Is not this a separate appearance specifically for the Jews?
Yes. After Zion is established in Missouri, and Christ appears at Adam ondi ahamn, and also in the temple in Zion (Independence Missouri), then the focus will shift to Israel in Jerusalem. Christ will also come to the mount olives and save the faithful of the house of Judah. So, there will be 3 appearances of Christ before He comes in Glory to all the world.
