First things first I'd like to say thank you for all the hard work you do to bring us these lessons and your insights into these weekly lessons each week. You're my #1 listen. I just have 1 thing i need help with. In this lesson, you asked what was hope. Then you said you "turned to Preach my Gospel ". So I went to the "Preach my Gospel" heading in the Gospel Library app and I tried to find all the things you had shared from there and I could not find where you were and where you found the heading on hope, or the quote from Elder Urchtdorf. Can you please help me understand where this is? Thank you 😊

How can we now NOT be in the days the prophet keeps reiterating "In coming days...." Are we near nuclear war? What does he say...“It is mentally rigorous to strive to look unto Him in every thought. But, when we do, our doubts and fears flee.”

The Jaredite prophet, Mahonri Moriancumer, gave his journals and stones (Urim and Thumin), to one of his sons, a Jaredite prophet; and they were passed down from prophet to prophet until Ether, who then buried them with his book. Nephi retrived them from where the Lord told Ether to hide them; then Nephi put them with the Liahona and the brass plates and his plates, etc. in the temple he built in the land of Nephi. And from there, king Mosiah1, a descendant of Nephi, took them with him and the Nephites that followed him; when the Lord told him to leave the Land of Nephi and guided them to Zarahemla. It's all there, written in the Book of Lehi! Better known as the lost 16 pages.😊❤

It just struck me while listening to this, just how much faith it took for Mahonri to set off in those barges with family and friends. The Lord's promise I will bring you up again...can you imagine the moment they launch out to sea? To have complete faith in The Lord to preserve you and your family and friends on the waters? That's actually incredible...and then for him to have seen Christ's finger with the faith He could light the stones. Mahonris faith is just incredible

I am a Christian exploring LDS and its teachings. Even if I feel that the BOM may be true, I have mixed feelings about the stuff I read in the D&C and find it hard to accept that the Garden of Eden could be here - I dont see how the 4 major rivers in Gen 2:10-14 could have started in the USA more so, seeing that the Euphrates is so far away.. So far my view of D&C is that it is full of opinions and are not revelatory knowledge. I say "so far" because I am still researching.. I do not believe (as yet) that the leaders or the prophets are infallible.

Lots to think about for sure.

The timeline of our day is exactly with Book of Mormon and our days Prophet! Joseph Smith snr is an attentive good Dad. Caring for a tired son. Awake to The Spirit , he believes the unheard of info of a young teenager son. What a beautiful heart our Heavenly Father has to appoint each person at right time ! I'm so glad I'm here now

Oct 27 at Adam Ondi Ahman. My husband walked into woods to pray take pictures when he came to where i was he showed me his pictures he had taken overlooking valley. There was a beam of light from the blue sky shinning down touching the ground he had a couple pictures different angles their was the light

Thank you for your insight and thought provoking analysis of this lesson. There are several people that I know, even those very elect, who have turned away from the gospel, even denying the witness they've received from the Lord. It is heartwrenching to witness. A Bishop I served as a counselor to left his family and the church for worldly desires.

I love the insight shared starting at timestamp 10:10 in this video. I had never considered that perspective. Makes a lot more sense, and it makes me want to be watching even more diligently so as not to miss out or fail to qualify for am invitation to the conference at Adam-ondi-Ahman. This is what the Bible means when it talks about the Lord coming to find his faithful servants diligently at work in his house, rather than slacking off and gossiping, contending, etc. (See Matthew 24:44-47.)
