More like enjoying a wonderful time together. That crowd didn't really know the song, like the song is know, by those who know. You know? That's fine though, sounded great and the looked to be enjoying themselves, with no phones.😊
I've been listening to their music a lot today. Now I've been checking out their live performances. Man, were they good live. Rip Dolores, what a beautiful voice
They nicest voice in they world 🌎 people nicest. I'm glad God introduced 🙏 us .she and I. And we where friends from that day .we where both born in Sept. Dolores the 6th me the 2end .rest in peace my friend 😢🙏🎤🎙🎸
I just have one question, this goes out to anybody who attended Woodstock 94, and at the time never even heard of the Cranberries, how could you not have fallen in love with the band after hearing that song right there and then.
Man,(being from Ulster County)I love this whole festival but the Cranberries were surely one of the most pleasant surprises of the whole deal! Great clip from a great SET!
great job! this song deserves it, i never realized quite how good and original they were when all this was going down, but now i hear this and memories come flooding in.
the best group I've seen live, and I'm a jazz/funk man, by nature, probably only the clash, would've been as good if id managed to see them in concert, she is the coolest woman that's ever picked up a guitar, and her voice is truly unique and very special, please let me go back in time
Songs like Linger and Mazzy Stars 'Fade into You' and 4 Non Blonde's 'What's Up' were true timeless gems from the early '90's that stir powerful, spine chilling, emotions to this day. I have not heard any new artist since then replicate that sound and feeling in the same vain; probably because these artists have already been there, done that. The '90's alternative and grunge scene was truely unique and is desperately missed.
Okay, who does she know? No mortal could produce such perfect sound quality in an outdoor concert. We know she has an amazing voice, and the song is a classic studio production. But how do you manage to make it sound so perfect out of doors? Somebody up there is helping her, I'm telling ya.
My God it's a fabulous voice!!!!! why does time have to go by so fast...why do good things have to go... such a lovely voice one day will fade away and will never be heard live again...i can't think it...too bad some people have never recognized the talent...the beauty...the messages..everything
Such a Terrible Tragedy. Dolores Was an Exceptional Singer with a Angelic Voice! Her Phrasing was Only Matched by Her Physical Beauty... RIP Sweet Spirit.
Witnessed this /1994 also caught them in Central Park the thursday night before woodstock & the trip to Cairo New York Great Memories reminds me of my Swiss friend Karen Frey that loved the Band Fanatically!
When I was a kid I wanted to sleep I turned 89x detroit on everyday listen to alternate music she sang was amazing ans others still today 30 plus years still same music 🎶 ❤
She was quite a little pixie. I saw an interview of her band members talking about when the were in their early days of starting out, she would actually sleep laying cross ways across the members laps in the back seat between shows. I'm convinced they all cared deeply for her. Very touching
you gotta search for it but there is a version of this where she plays this song on some morning show for a disabled gal. something about it was incredibly powerful... it almost brought this old man to tears... i couldn't tell you what it is aout that video i mean she's even slightly off-key at the beginning... enough rambling go check it out for yourselves! peace
No worries. Dolores still sings and tours. She and the boys(Hogans) just did a show in Dublin last week. Dolores is solo now and on her 2nd solo album and will be touring again in 2009, singing alot of the Cranberries songs of course:)
We were so sure of ourselves back then. Life was awesome. If I could go back to that time, I'd do so in a heartbeat. Life nowadays is sad and unbearable. Unless you're naive or dumb, there's not alot to be happy about. Music sucks and we live under the constant threat of being poor and homeless. Not to mention the opioid epidemic. I understand why Dolores drown in her bathtub. Life f^*king sucks... Rest in peace Dolores. You were one of the beautiful ones. Top to bottom, in and out.😢
I was at Woodstock 94', didn't see her... I heard part of it from a distance... They had 2 stages running at the same time... Had to pick and choose... It was a real "B" trapsing back and forth through all that Fking mud from the main stage to stage "B"... I drove most of the way back home to Papillion Nebraska barefoot so the soles of my feet could dry out... It didn't matter that I was wearing top-of-the-line 8" leather work-boots... Mud wasn't the worst of it... It was the fact that it was so uneven... My back was killing me... Reminded me of what the surface of a cow-pen was like at a feed-yard... (I grew-up in a family business that did many things at the same time... Hauling corn and beans from farm to market, haul cattle from farm to feed-lot to slaughter-house...Combining, Shelling... Put-up hay. Plant crops... walk beans) Porta-potties made us not want to eat the whole time... We each brought 2 MRE's 2,000 calories each... Didn't go #2 the whole time.
What pisses me off is I was supposed to have gone to this Woodstock because my friend's brother was the guy that set up the stage and we all got backstage passes, but my friends left because they left a little earlier without telling me and I wasn't about to drive from New York to upstate alone. I was mostly pissed off because one of the other bands drummer got sick and called out for a drummer and I would've been called to fill the spot if I was there, but my chance got blown away even to meeting the bands like the cranberries. I missed out on the chance of a lifetime and I can kick myself in the ass for not being there, I should had just drove up to Woodstock myself, and I blame my friends for not getting me when they decided to all leave earlier that day. when I asked them why you do that, they said, sorry man we forgot all about you, but thought about you when they called out for the drummer!!!
Yep you're right there, they didn't give a shit about me, so you learn in life who's really a friend. BTW so called friend who told me about them thinking of me when they called out for a drummer committed suicide!
her voice is really fascinating ... seeing this 21 years later , it almost made me cry...
fuck almost
😍
@@arekpocicki5681 😆😆
That's why this band stopped after her death. You could never replace her.
i dont even really like their music that much. but shes just so irish and so unique. so here i am
Nobody on their phones. Just a bunch of young people enjoying a beautiful song together. In the moment.
Their phones were home

THIS IS YET ANOTHER GREAT BAND OF THE 90'S! MUSIC WAS THE BEST BACK THEN!
sorry the 90's were rubbish....The 60's, 70's and 80's were the best....but I guess it depends on which era u grew up in!!!

Some entertainers do not sound good live.. she was incredible..❤
The only other singer that I know. of that sang this good live was country singer Don Williams.
@@donnieweeks8690 Don Williams was epic!
So heart breaking to watch this knowing she is no longer with us, so so tragic.

It was a beautiful time, miss that decade so much. It was Generation X's (my generation) moment in time.
Idk, Rudy can’t fail and Guns of Brixton evoke the same feeling in me and they were done in 70’s.
Expand your music taste sir…….
