It's just so impressive seeing him play such complicated guitar stuff, but not just that he's also thrashing around with makes it so much harder to play
If you want to know. He uses a line 6 DL4 to loop him sliding his finger on the lower strings and recording only a very short amount of time and it repeats that. He can then just turn it off. It’s a really fun trick

Evan Moore It's a delay pedal set to a very short delay time and a lot of repeats. A lot of people use the Boss PS2 or PS3 for this

It's either a really fast delay, or a really fast loop. Lots of bands do it (Tera Melos, Giraffes? Giraffes!, etc.)
