This location does do a nice job of keeping everything looking nice and fresh. The buffet really impressed us and we really enjoyed it. I know a lot of the Golden Corral’s have closed down. Glad to have one so close to where we live. They still have a bunch on the restaurants around but it’s not as many as back in their glory days. This restaurant is not one I frequent, but my hubby treated me to brunch at our local Golden Corral last Friday. I was very impressed with all I ate! Their chicken legs are sooooo good! I think I ate my weight in those! Great experience. ❤❤❤

We were there early so everything was stocked and fresh. The fruits were delicious! The omelet station was an added bonus. It was very nice to be able to create your own omelet’s. Great video. Key to great sweet watermelon is look for the yellow scar -it tells you that the fruit was allowed to mature on the vine. Yummy. A good cup of coffee and small piece of carrot cake. YUM.
We struggle finding a good watermelon. We look at the area where it is picked from the vine and look for a yellow spot where it was on the ground. Maybe we just are not looking for the right things. Thanks for watching!

If only the other Golden Corrals would be that clean, we have one Golden Corral in Pharr Texas across from Sam's that look like the streets in San Francisco, people eating as they gather their food, sometimes coughing right by the food,and no one tells them to wait till they get to their table, tables pack with dirty dishes right next where you're eating, kids sticking their hands on the chocolate. I rather pay more but at least get to enjoy my food
Your description is what makes me not to want to go to a buffet. On this day we got there shortly after opening. Everything appeared clean and was fresh/hot. Our waitress did an outstanding job of picking up the dirty dishes when we were finished. It was a good experience. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I think it’s good they have all these foods up for people to eat as everyone works different hours of the day and night, or a lot depends of what they may be hungry for. Our son works for FED-X and once he gets off work he’s not always hurry for breakfast foods, so..this is really great they put out pretty much everything. Folks can enjoy it all.
You are exactly right. I can remember when I worked nights and got off in the morning I would rather have normal food rather than breakfast food. I don't know why Golden Corral seems to get a bad rap, I've eaten at many of them thru out the country and have never been disappointed, especially for the price. Cindy you should've tasted some of that corn beef hash, I think you would've liked it - it seems not that many places serve corn beef hash but whenever I go someplace where it's available I always get it. David -- a "veggie" omelet???? 😳
I’m not as open to trying different things as David. David enjoys vegetables too. He also likes a veggie pizza sometimes. But he definitely is a meat eater.

We thought this was a very reasonable price for this buffet. Plus coffee and juice was included. Things are pricey today but for everything that is included on the breakfast bar we found it to be a great value. The quality of the food was good as well. First of all that price for their breakfast buffet is phenomenal, I've been to the one up here many times. Our breakfast buffet is only on the weekends , I see the hours of operation start in the morning 7 days a week. Absolutely love the omelette station and we have a station that makes fresh waffles. Cindy I see your omelette was huge with plenty of fillings, David's was eye appealing too! Everything looked fresh , especially the ham on the carving table. Great breakfast deal at Golden Corral. The sad news the one in Boardman closed more than a decade ago. I miss it.
So many of them have closed. The one I used to go to growing up closed years ago. That is when you could go in and order off the menu and you could choose the food bar to go with the meal or order it as the meal. Of course the food bar was not as big as the buffet is now.

It's a great option when nobody knows what they want. So many choices, everyone is going to find something they like.

My husband and I went for breakfast Saturday I had to pay $2.99 for my coffee it was so strong I couldn't drink it my husband got juice it was watered-down. The food was great.

I think because I am able to make breakfast items well, and because I'm thrifty or cheap in certain ways, I would probably be uncomfortable at a breakfast buffet. The exception perhaps would be if it were available at 3 am or had some features you really aren't likely to prepare yourself regularly. The cost of breakfast items vs the cost of purchasing breakfast rarely make mathematical sense. Sometimes breakfast sandwiches get closer. Someone once told me they would make omlet salad bar trips. So like you just get all your omlet filling items at the salad bar instead of buying whole individual items (like a whole onion, pepper, ham whatever). Because it was relatively lightweight it's cost effective.
Buying the lightweight items at Golden Corral may be a good deal. I’m not sure how much they are getting per pound. Then if you prepared them at home it
could work.
What makes the buffet more reasonable is the price of the breakfast meats. Bacon is expensive in the store. So if you are a carnivore it could be a good deal for you.
I will say that breakfast used to be a relatively cheap meal to eat out. Thats not the case anymore. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Whoa! What an amazing price for a good looking buffet!! I guess I now know why this was requested as a video. Had no idea this was such a great option.
A few things - first I LOVE corn beef hash. Second, I have never heard of fat back! What is that? And lastly, the desserts and salad options were very surprising! Great video!

Fatback is actually the fat off a pigs back. Apparently all Golden Corral’s do not have it. I remember my grandmother fixing it when I was little.

The breakfast buffet looks so yummy! This is an excellent restaurant to eat Golden Corral always been a great option for breakfast & value, The food is good and tasty it’s been quite a while since we review it for dinner elsewhere but both omelets looks great, fresh fruits is a must for us too & those by the look of your face said it’s delicious another great video keep it up 👍 Miss Carly tho good that she’s enjoying a sleep over
The Golden Corral breakfast actually surprised us. We got there shortly after they opened and everything was hot and fresh. The freshly made omelette station is definitely a great option. I wish we had one near us. The closest is in Manassas VA and there is too much traffic to get there. Never had the breakfast but I love Golden Corral.

You are right about that. We did that before on a lunch buffet and then we were able to take advantage of the dinner items. I’m not sure that we even have a Golden Corral in our bigger town from the small town we live in. I love places like this.

Now I could do a number on the bacon, biscuits and pancakes alone and that is indeed a reasonable deal especially that it includes your juice or coffee, you can't beat all that for such a modest price! Cottage fries? I'm guessing that's supposed to be like a breakfast country version of French fries? Thank you for sharing this we'll definitely have to get breakfast here one morning! One thing I'm not a big breakfast fan unless it's the men's breakfast at church and I do like cracker barrels breakfast but this definitely would pretty much outrank the cracker barrel by a mile!
Bradley, We don’t go out for breakfast often either. This was a nice change of pace, The food was good and it was quiet in the restaurant. I’m thinking the cottage fries are similar to fried potatoes.
