Also, you need a licence for owning pistols that too if the Judiciary decides you have a credible threat to your life. Also, get this, they still have to surrender it to the nearest police station in case riots break out for "citizen's safety" to prevent misuse.

      @XXXOD How many times do you plan on missing.? Because if it’s one guy! The 2070 grains from the 9 rounds you would be firing. Seems like plenty to me. And a box magazine is only a quick change away. Not to mention I also have 10 rounders from CMC and Wilson combat! If someone can survive a gun fight with a revolver without reloading. Why do I need 17 out of a square piece of black with a squishy trigger?

    • @hawkknight4223
      @hawkknight4223 2 роки тому

      @XXXOD Fabrique national make some really good pistols. I also like the H&K USP tactical. Also I am no operator. Just the son of a Vietnam veteran. He trained ROTC cadets at Fort Campbell Kentucky how to shoot a 45 at 100 yards. He started me at 30 yards as a kid. And I’ve taken over a dozen deer with my side arm. Essex armory 1911 that I built myself when I was 19. Also that’s why you should always carry another magazine. Preferably at least two. But you don’t stand in an open doorway. Or the middle of a parking lot. You’re seek cover and return fire. If conceal men is your only option fine. But you have to find something sturdy enough ultimately. Frankly I hope you’re a better shot than I am.

    • @hawkknight4223
      @hawkknight4223 2 роки тому

      @XXXOD Also I can almost promise you. More than likely will be standing there with an empty gun at the end. It’s just like when your predator hunting. And the predator comes for you. You shoot until it’s dead. 90% of the time. People don’t drop off the first shot. Let alone die instantaneously. Unless you’re sniper with a headshot. And even some people don’t go down from that.

      @Sujamma_Enjoyer 2 роки тому

      @XXXOD uhh no they don’t where are you pulling that information? Because according to the ones I’ve always referred to in cases of justified shootings between 1-3 shots are fired to end the threat

    1911 is one of my all-time favorite styles of pistol. As old as it is many people still say it's reliable and stacks up against its modern-day competition. dual safety features fits nice in the hand and can take some abuse..... as long as you don't mind cleaning it and lubing it up from time to time. What's not to like about it.

    Very good teacher. You speak fast but not too fast. Clear. Concise. I wonder if you explain how the slide moves to the rear and so that novices have to be careful with their left hand or their support hand I should say and it's like comes back and one of the thing I am and this is a question not a comment when you held the slide with your left hand and moved it to the rear let It come forward the muzzle was not too too close to your elbow but with beginners doing that I see it very often that they put it a little bit more under the forearm and align it in the same direction parallel to the bottom of the forearm and it's pointing right at the wrong elbow or to my point to the person to the left but boy I've been shooting 1911 since I am 59 so maybe 40 years and you know I learned something new everyday and that's why I watch a video because why not I either learn something new or reinforce something that I know and never heard of refresher thanks brother

    Ok so I got my Tisas 1911 .45 Service today and when I got it home I felt like a complete idiot! Mind you I own a Sig P220 so I thought I knew what I was doing! Hell No! I fumbled with it for about 20 minutes unloaded of course, and then decided to look this up and I came across this video and damn what I didn’t know 🤣! I admit this is my first ever 1911 I have 4 other handguns and now I at least know how to operate it! Thanks for the video!

    • @HamFlare_12345
      @HamFlare_12345 4 місяці тому

      It is very reliable, just make sure,
      1) not to dry fire it
      2) don't leave the magazines loaded for too long
      3) don't drop the slide on an empty chamber
      4) don't leave the hammer cocked for too long
      5) don't carry with a round in the chamber, it will get worn out.
