Honestly even just looking at it I have to agree, even how they have the cartridge literally lock into a removable bolt. Honestly I'd love to see something like this scaled up to the RN-50, maybe even putting the entire thing on some linear rails with eddie brakes and a spring to get some good recoil dampening. Back in the mid 90s there was a 50 bmg pistol making the rounds at the mid west gun shows. I had the opportunity to buy one for $350.00. I think it was made by maddi, so the guy I bought it from never shot it and wanted to see someone shoot it, he had a local indoor range so Saturday after the show we went to his range to shoot it. He had 4 55 gal drums, 3 full of water and 1 with sand and water. Naturally, a dozen other gun dealers came along to watch ME break something. I wound up shooting all 4 drums, end to end. The one with sand and water split down the side on the first shot. It was an unusual gun. I carried it around for a year or so until I showed it to a guy who had to have it. I finally sold it to him but I wish I had kept it now. It had a very robust recoil.

Okay KB, the one thing that has been learned through all of your videos is to never under-estimate the ballistics of firearms of all shapes and sizes. That, combined with the fact you apparently can get your hands on anything short of an A-10 Warthog. Then we got thinking, if a 1-pound ball can create that much energy and destruction, what about a real Civil War era cannon? Does Hollywood even have a clue as to what a cannonball does to an advancing army, or the side of a ship? Challenge accepted?

I really appreciate his kid friendly attitude and jokes. Very entertaining for both adults and he teaches kids to not fear, but respect firearms.
Definitely not your everyday carry, but man, the thrill of shooting one of those must be unmatched. Thanks for showcasing this monster, it's always fascinating to see innovations in the world of firearms!
