How I Do Coils On My EXTREMELY Short Natural Hair | TWA

- In this video I attempt to do comb coils or comb twists on my natural hair using a rat tail comb. This is similar to doing finger coils except you don't use your fingers.

One thing you've been consistent about it is....your hair always grows back. It should give us a lot of confidence to be able to go short any time we want to.

Yes very true. I’ve been holding onto my hair for 10 years next year. I should have been cut it off...probably would have grown out much healthier by now
Something I've noticed about you, me being a long time subscriber to you, is that you're EXTREMELY patient with your hair; when it comes to growing or styling. I admire your patience. I just dont have it for styling lol and I've tried! I really tried lol! I think I end up doing more damage to my hair than good.

You know what I love about you? You do what you want with your hair... although some might look at it just as "hair", it's so liberating doing absolutely what you want free from the opinions of anyone. Love it, sis 💙. Any color you decide will look good on you!
I do this same style -- but I take the gel put it on my hand and lightly rub my twa around and around in a circular motion all over my head -- almost as if with the sponge. It gives the same look, takes a bit more gel, but people always run up and say-- oh who did your hair 😆. I definitely appreciate your patience ❤

I love that, I was looking for instructions on how to twist the comb, because I keep getting my hair caught! If I'm not comb-coiling my edges, I'm tangling the hair.😫

Why did u shave your long hair?
Why is it that i cannot do this for the life of me... as soon as i start twisting my hair falls right out of the comb and my hair is like 3inches long. I have 4a hair. What am i doing wrong yall? Ive watched every video even in show motion like there's some secret but there ain't... yall twist and the hair just stays in the comb. I do the same and either the hair falls out the comb or it stays in but after a few turns i can't twist any more without pulling my hair. Am i just stupid? Why can't i do something a million videos make look so simple?
