My family moved here in 1960 spent 1st thru 7th here in Clewiston. I still have one friend I keep in touch with. We left in 1968 at those times all the kids assaulted the Dixie Crystals Theater every Saturday afternoon. Watch westerns, beach movies and Elvis! I have heard also it has gone to the drugs and criminals. Not even close to the Clewiston of old. I still remember the Old South BBQ Ranch, it was the best que in the state. The swimming pool and the civics center all the stuff from years ago.
well we are both still laughing after watching this video...not sure who had this video done but obviously you were paid very well to make it and you did an outstanding job...if my boyfriend and I both had not been raised there all of our lives and saw this video wed both want to go check this sweet town out...but my goodness you had to really work to get these great pics of the places clean and even mowed!! back in 50s, 60 and even 70s a great place to live but after that it has gone downhill ever since...I hate going back and seeing what the drugs and crime has done to that town not to mention what USSC did over the years... lets face it USSC owns that town and everyone in it.... we used to call it the "little mafia" sweet far from it... but then I know you had a job to do and that was make an advertisement for the city of Clewiston chamber and tourism...well if I had something to sell id sure hire you as you did an amazing job on the video...JS
We live there from 1979 till 2011 then we move to Columbus Ohio we still have family thr we go visit I'm always goin to be a Florida guy👍
